Former GA middle school employee charged with sexual exploitation of children
Deputies have charged a former Georgia middle school employee with possessing child sexual abuse material.
A K-9 team that specializes in finding electronic devices that store data assisted with the arrest.
The Haralson County Sheriff's Office arrested Bradley Kingsley on Tuesday and charged him with felony sexual exploitation of children.
'One of my biggest priorities when I took office was to protect kids,' Sheriff Stacy Williams said. 'I tell people all the time how difficult these cases are to work, for everyone involved.'

The Haralson County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into Kingsley began in May when they received a tip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The GBI's Internet Crimes Against Children division said there were several videos of children involved in sexual acts uploaded to a Verizon account.
Investigators tracked the IP address back to a house where they say Kingsley lived and got a warrant.

They searched the home for three hours and found an open laptop that was playing one of the videos.
The Murray County Sheriff's Office and its electronic storage detection K-9 team also searched the home.
K-9 Maxim and his handler found nine hidden electronic storage devices in the home.
The sheriff's office said Kingsley was a former Carroll County Schools employee. The district confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Kingsley once worked at Bay Springs Middle School.
A spokesperson sent the following statement:
'The district learned of the arrest of a former employee. Although the individual has not been employed at Bay Springs Middle School since 2020, we are saddened to hear the news. We want to assure our community that the alleged actions of this individual do not reflect the values and conduct we expect of our employees.'

Suspects accused of bringing contraband to Fulton jail annex, cutting through fence
Sheriff's deputies captured three people they say attempted to sneak in drugs, phones and food to inmates at the Fulton County Jail South Annex. Malachi Abdul-Baqi and Henry each received bonds totaling $30,000, Matthew Abdul-Baqi's bond totaled $25,000. Henry posted bond Thursday, according to jail records. All three were also charged with purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, and Malachi Abdul-Baqi and Henry received an additional charge of possession of tools for commission of a crime. Georgia health officials confirm new measles case in metro Atlanta area
The Georgia Department of Public Health confirmed another unvaccinated metro Atlanta resident had been diagnosed with measles. The resident this time is a family member of the person who had been infected with measles while traveling outside of the United States, which was confirmed in May. Health officials say those who may have been in contact or exposed to either of the two individuals who have been confirmed to have measles were given the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine or antibodies to help reduce their risk of contracting the disease. Georgia health officials are now monitoring the individuals who came into contact or were exposed to the two metro Atlanta residents with measles for symptoms. Health officials said the MMR vaccine is safe and effective and mentioned that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is based in the metro area, recommends that children receive their first dose of the MMR vaccine between 12 to 15 months of age and a second between four and six years old. "More than 95% of the people who receive a single dose of MMR will develop immunity to all three viruses. A second dose boosts immunity, typically enhancing protection to 98%," GaDPH said. Family of twins found dead on Bell Mountain dispute findings, says they were killed
The family of twins Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis are holding a news conference Friday morning laying out what they say are facts of the twins' disappearance and deaths. The bodies of the Lewis twins were found in Towns County on Bell Mountain in early March. While the deaths were eventually ruled a double-suicide by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Lewis family is calling it a 'lynching.' [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] On Friday, the family and their legal representatives are demanding justice for the two 19-year-olds. According to the announcement sent by attorneys for the Lewis Family, they want to 'dispel information and present the facts,' while calling for a new, 'thorough, transparent investigation' and calling for accountability for those responsible. The family is joined at the briefing in Lawrenceville by members of the NAACP Georgia State Conference an the NAACP Gwinnett County Branch, as well as community advocates and supporters. The GBI said they determined the method of the deaths based on the medical examiner's autopsy of the twins and other investigative findings, which agents shared with the Lewis family in May. In part, the GBI said cellular location data helped establish a timeline of when the Lewis twins left their home in Gwinnett County to go to Bell Mountain, and that while Naazir Lewis went to the airport on March 7, and had a ticket, 'he never caught the flight and returned home.' Additionally, the GBI said records show that Naazir Lewis bought ammunition for the gun used, which was delivered to their home in Gwinnett County on March 5. The GBI said internet search history from both of the twins' phones showed searches for how to load a gun, suicide rates in 2024 and related searches. Forensic evidence showed both twins fired a gun, according to the GBI, and a comprehensive investigation indicated the injures were self-inflicted.
