Is Taylor and Ridge's Engagement Over After B&B's August 6 Key Moments?

Yahoo12 hours ago
The Bold and the Beautiful Key moments for Wednesday, August 6, 2025, reveal a tale of two types of sharks. Brooke nearly got eaten by sharks in Italy, while Grace confessed that loan sharks were after her and her family. You need to tune into today's episode to see what's happening.
Goodbye, Taylor!
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was on the run in Italy. He heard about Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) plans with Nick (Jack Wagner). He ran around town, looking for their boat. He noticed Brooke on the back of Nick's boat. Then, something happened. The boat crashed into another boat, sending Brooke into the shark-infested waters.
Ridge sprang into action. He jumped into the water in a desperate attempt to save her life. Brooke nearly drowned. After rescuing her from the waters, Ridge performed CPR, trying to resurrect her. He repeatedly told her, 'I don't want to lose you.' Finally, she woke up as Ridge was overcome with emotion. He kissed her and promised to make it right. What does this mean for Ridge and Taylor? Are they done? And what happened to Nick? Is he okay?

Shark-Infested Waters
Meanwhile, we got new details about Grace's (Cassandra Creech) long con against Liam (Scott Clifton). She told Finn (Tanner Novlan) that loan sharks were after her. Her ex-husband, Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), owed them millions of dollars. She was desperate to pay them off, so they would stop threatening her family.
Grace admitted that she lied about Liam's condition to protect her family. Then, she shared the details of her scheme. While Liam did suffer a brain bleed, she used his medical records to fake a tumor. Grace made a rash decision that was overcome by fear, but that doesn't excuse what she did.

Reese's money problems plagued her. She had no idea how she was going to come up with the rest of the money. The symptoms that Liam experienced were side effects from the prescription medication she gave him. However, Liam's surgery wasn't invasive. Grace told Finn that she was careful to only use light sedation on him.
Finn told Grace that this not only affected Liam, but his entire family. She also wasted several months of his life thinking he was going to die. Grace didn't want anyone else to know about this. She asked Finn to keep this a secret, but will he listen? He doesn't like lying, especially to his loved ones.

Sabrina Carpenter Won't Fall for The Row's $690 Flip-Flops—Her $4 Pair Does the Trick

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. On July 14, Sabrina Carpenter shared her first Instagram-worthy photo dump of the month with her 48 million followers. Like famous peers Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, her vacation-season carousel included snaps of recent trips abroad. (Destinations: Paris and London, in Carpenter's case). Unlike other celebrities, however, the Grammy winner apparently packed $4 Old Navy flip-flops instead of The Row's $690 rubber slides for her travels. In the thirteenth photo, Carpenter propped her legs up on a wall (a beneficial yoga pose, BTW), simultaneously modeling her new Old Navy find. (There was no mistaking the flip-flop's for another brand's: She tagged the retailer directly.) Her photos doubled down on the polka-dot trend too, showing the black thongs with white polka-dots in one photo and a dotted manicure in another. She accessorized the Old Navy shoes with a spiral, of-the-moment anklet, another craze co-signed by Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and more. (Fans believe the ankle bracelet is actually a $10 mosquito repellant.) View Deal Why did she tag Old Navy, you ask? As a longtime Carpenter, I know she frequently takes cues from Taylor Swift's big book of Easter eggs. Seeing as she's never publicly worn Old Navy before, perhaps the post is teasing an upcoming collab with chief creative officer, Zac Posen. Old Navy's sister label, Gap, has dressed It girls like Emily Ratajkowski, Lila Moss, and Laura Harrier in recent months, so, teaming up with Carpenter wouldn't be too far-fetched. Of course, there could be a simpler explanation: the singer was just proud of her under-$5 summer shoe find. Old Navy rumors aside, Carpenter has been pro-polka-dot since early 2024, when the revival was just starting to pick up speed. In her "Taste" music video, she wore a black-and-white bubble skirt and the matching halter top to slay her (fictional) ex-boyfriend. Together, the Blondita two-piece cost $140. View Deal View Deal On the Short n' Sweet tour, her stylist, Jared Ellner partnered with Victoria's Secret to create her lingerie-inspired costumes, including a polka-dotted bodysuit she wore at the Paris show in March. It's rare for a Carpenter-approved piece to be as inexpensive as her Old Navy flip-flops, so get your hands on them while you still can. I've already bought two pairs. Jennifer Lopez's Dramatic 3D Manicure Is a Maximalist's Dream

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Jennifer Lopez always finds a way to remind me that she's a true Leo who loves a bit of dramatic flair. She's currently on tour in Europe, and everything from her sparkly costumes down to her decked-out nails is bringing major maximalist energy. The "Up All Night" singer opened up the European leg of her summer tour this week wearing a super-detailed coffin-shaped manicure featuring nude, gold, and blood red as the base colors and charms on each nail. Never one to let us forget that she's a Bronx, NY native, one nail featured a charm of the New York Yankees logo with rhinestones, while the others were embellished with other 3D designs like the Chanel logo, a cross, rubies, a heart-shaped red stone, and a rhinestone hair bow. The manicure is the work of Lopez's longtime nail tech, Tom Bachik, who shared a close-up photo of the nails via Instagram Stories earlier this week. Per the photo, it looks like Bachik decorated each nail separately before gluing them to the singer's fingers as press-ons to wear throughout the show. While Lopez's nail looks are typically muted for the most part, she's no stranger to adding some drama to her fingers. Back in April, she wore a French manicure that replaced the traditional white tips with crystals that formed a crown shape. She also wore a diamond manicure to an Elie Saab show in September, which was also the work of Bachik. The "Up All Night" tour runs until Aug. 12, and if this manicure is any indication of what other looks we can expect before it ends, consider me excited to see what's next. Jennifer Lopez Pairs Her Signature $60 Flip-Flops With a $2,200 Prada Bag

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. After years of attending Jennifer Lopez's unofficial school of style, I know she prefers designer bags with a four-figure price point or higher. As for her footwear? She won't rule out more affordable finds. Case in point: On August 5, Lopez paired a $2,200 Prada bag with $60 flip-flops in Istanbul, Turkey, the latest stop on her her Up All Night tour. Before performing her greatest hits at the Festival Park Yenikapı, she went shopping with Prada's Mini Wicker Bucket Bag, a raffia top-handle model that debuted in May 2014, in tow. The bag's woven drawstring closure matched her baby pink two-piece, courtesy of Victoria Beckham. It was equal parts lightweight and luxe, as the long-sleeve linen blouse elevated her scalloped shorts. Usually, nothing stops the Maid In Manhattan star from wearing sky-high stilettos. This time, however, she endorsed summer 2025's flip-flop fad with her favorite metallic gold thongs from Tkees. has worn the under-$100 sandals more than ten times since July 2022, when she initially bought them on a Capri vacation. This summer alone, they've complemented a Valentino shirt dress one day, and a (rumored) $80,000 croc-embossed Hermès Birkin the next. Most recently, on August 1, the Tkees appeared in a post-Egypt Instagram recap. They looked chic with a black bikini, which she layered underneath a crochet cover-up. All this to say? Her gold flip-flops are just as versatile as Kendall Jenner's viral Dune sandals by The Row (and for less than a quarter of the price). Lopez's Prada purchase appears to be her closet's newest addition. Until now, she hadn't publicly carried it. (Trust me, I would know if she did.) Her Tkees flip-flops, on the other hand, are certainly getting more bang for her buck. Shop Styles Inspired by Jennifer Lopez View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal
