Tech Services Firm CEO and Veteran Recognized at the 2025 Patriot Week Gala for Exceptional Service to Veterans and Gold Star Families
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., May 27, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blue Mantis, a leading provider of digital strategy and services specializing in managed services, cybersecurity and cloud solutions, today announced that its CEO, Josh Dinneen, has been honored as the recipient of the Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer Kevin A. Houston Award. This prestigious recognition is awarded annually by InnoVets and Massachusetts Fallen Heros and it commemorates veterans who exemplify extraordinary service and demonstrate a positive impact on the lives of military families.
Dinneen, a former sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps, received the award during the Patriot Week Gala, held at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel Thursday, May 22. Patriot Week, established in 2016 by InnoVets, is a week-long event series dedicated to spreading awareness of military life and honoring Fallen Heroes. It brings together the veterans and military families for ceremonies, discussions, and celebrations, recognizing local leaders who make meaningful contributions to the Veteran and Gold Star communities.
The award pays tribute to the legacy of Houston, a highly decorated Navy SEAL known for his exceptional courage and dedication to duty. Born in West Hyannis Port, Mass., Houston enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1995 and embarked on a distinguished career marked by valor and selflessness. His legacy continues to inspire those who serve and those who support military communities.
'I am incredibly honored to receive the Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer Kevin A. Houston Award,' said Dinneen. 'Patriot Week is a powerful reminder of the commitment we share to support our veterans and their families. As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I am proud to contribute to InnoVet's mission and continue Chief Petty Officer Houston's legacy.'

Enterprise Products Says US Set to Deny Its China Ethane Export License
Enterprise Products Partners LP received a notice saying the US intends to deny licenses for three proposed cargoes of ethane heading to China as the Trump administration doubles down on security for exports to the country. The Houston-based midstream energy company has up to 20 days to issue a rebuttal to the notice from the Bureau of Industry and Security at the US Department of Commerce, Enterprise said in a statement Wednesday. The cargoes contain about 2.2 million barrels of ethane.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has ‘no doubt' that Ime Udoka will bring NBA title to Houston
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has 'no doubt' that Ime Udoka will bring NBA title to Houston ESPN's Stephen A. Smith on Ime Udoka: 'This man has resurrected the Houston Rockets franchise, from the moment he arrived. Ime Udoka is one of the top five coaches in basketball. He is special.' Now with a coaching vacancy, the New York Knicks reportedly have interest in hiring Ime Udoka. But that interest doesn't seem to be reciprocated by either the Rockets or Houston's head coach. ESPN media personality Stephen A. Smith, a longtime fan of the Knicks, addressed the topic on Wednesday's First Take. While he said he would love for Udoka to coach in New York, he knows it won't happen. Among Smith's comments: It ain't gonna happen. And it's not going to happen because as much as I love it (the idea of Udoka coaching the Knicks), Tilman Fertitta loves Ime Udoka more. This man has resurrected the Houston Rockets franchise, from the moment he arrived. Ime Udoka is one of the top five coaches in basketball. He is special. I'm saying it here, clear as day: I have no doubt that Ime Udoka is going to deliver a championship to Houston, eventually. They're probably going to have to trade Jalen Green, because you can't have a face of the franchise that can't make shots in most of his games when you really need him to. You're probably going to have to go out, whether it's a KD (Kevin Durant) or somebody else, and add a piece. You need a closer. The complete segment can be viewed below (at 18:47). In the two years since his arrival in Houston, Udoka has lifted the Rockets from 22-60 and last place in the 15-team Western Conference to 52-30 and No. 2 in the West last season. 'I happen to know Tilman Fertitta,' Smith said of Houston's ownership. 'I've got profound respect for that man. Ime ain't getting out of Houston for next season.' Report: Rockets, Ime Udoka won't entertain interest from Knicks
Report: Rockets, Ime Udoka won't entertain interest from Knicks The Knicks reportedly have interest in Ime Udoka, but it seems neither the Rockets nor Houston's head coach has interest in New York. With a sudden coaching vacancy, the New York Knicks reportedly have interest in Ime Udoka. But that interest doesn't seem to be reciprocated by either the Rockets or Houston's head coach. 'Regarding reports identifying Ime Udoka as a possible target for the vacant Knicks coaching position, Houston has no interest in entertaining that,' The Athletic's Kelly Iko writes, citing a team source. 'Both parties are committed to the long-term project and are actively preparing for a busy offseason.' As things stand, Udoka is midway through a four-year contract that he signed in April 2023 to coach the Rockets. Thus, the Knicks and Rockets would need to come to some sort of compensation agreement in order for Udoka to be let out of his existing deal, and it doesn't seem there's any interest from the Houston side in exploring that. The Rockets have improved significantly in Udoka's two seasons with the team, and he just finished third in 2024-25 NBA Coach of the Year voting. He's under contract for multiple seasons moving forward and is viewed internally as a foundational piece. Thus, there is zero interest from Houston in parting ways. From a practical standpoint, the interest from the Knicks could perhaps be used by Udoka and his representatives in eventual talks regarding a contract extension. Salaries for NBA coaches have risen in the two-plus years since Udoka signed his initial deal with the Rockets, and coaches rarely enter the final 'lame duck' year of their contracts. Thus, at some point prior to the 2026-27 season, it's likely that Udoka and the Rockets will enter into a new round of negotiations. In that negotiating context, interest from other teams around the league can build up Udoka's market, and it helps to be publicly viewed as desirable. But there remain no indications that he wants to leave Houston, and the team certainly wants to keep him around, as well. Though the Knicks (51-31) made it to the conference finals in a weaker Eastern Conference, they actually had a worse record than the Rockets (52-30), even with Houston facing a tougher West schedule. Combine that with Houston having a younger roster with more room for internal improvement and a better future draft outlook, and it would seem that the Rockets are the superior situation from a basketball standpoint, as well.
