His legacy continues to inspire those who serve and those who support military communities.
'I am incredibly honored to receive the Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer Kevin A. Houston Award,' said Dinneen. 'Patriot Week is a powerful reminder of the commitment we share to support our veterans and their families. Prairie Operating Co. Reports Record Q2 Surge in Revenue, Production, and Profit
Prairie Operating Co. (NASDAQ: PROP) posted a blowout second quarter for 2025, with revenue, earnings, and production all soaring on the back of major acquisitions and operational gains in the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The Houston-based independent energy producer booked $68.1 million in Q2 revenue, up about 400% from the previous quarter, as daily production jumped over 540% to a record 21,052 barrels of oil equivalent per day (Boe/d), roughly half of which was oil. Net income surged more than 500% to $35.7 million, with adjusted EBITDA climbing over 600% to $38.6 million. Prairie's rapid growth was fueled by its third strategic acquisition in less than a year — more than $600 million in producing oil and gas assets, including the March 2025 Bayswater deal, which expanded operated wells from 34 to over 360. The company also initiated a hedging program locking in favorable oil and gas pricing through 2028 and expanded its credit facility to $475 million. Operationally, the company drilled 18 and completed nine wells in Q2, with notable performance on the 11-well Rusch pad in Weld County and adoption of U-shaped lateral designs to boost recovery in constrained lease areas. Prairie also deployed an electric frac fleet to cut emissions and costs, achieving record completion efficiencies on the nine-well Opal-Coalbank pad. CEO Edward Kovalik called the quarter a 'tremendous growth milestone,' crediting disciplined capital allocation and off-market acquisitions for expanding inventory and lowering costs. CFO Greg Patton highlighted that EBITDA has grown six-fold while leverage remains around 1x, positioning Prairie for sustained free cash flow. For 2025, Prairie forecasts average production of 24,000–26,000 Boe/d, capital expenditures of $260–$280 million, and adjusted EBITDA of $240–$260 million, with about 85% of current output hedged. The results underscore Prairie's emergence as a leading consolidator in the DJ Basin, leveraging scale, technical innovation, and cost discipline to drive shareholder returns.
