Infinitas Capital Backed HausVorteil Appoints New CFO

Business Wire12-05-2025
BASEL, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ahead of its proposed listing in Munich later this year, HausVorteil – backed by Infinitas Capital – is delighted to announce that it has appointed Sören Ploschke as CFO.
HausVorteil, based in Hamburg, is a pioneering company in the equity release sector that offers a range of financial products that enable homeowners in Germany to release the assets tied up in their properties, tailored to their individual needs.
Sören has substantial listed company experience having held previous roles as Head of Finance at Düsseldorf listed Tick Trading Software AG and Senior Finance Manager of Frankfurt listed Heliad AG. His skills include financial management, investor relations, strategy development and restructuring. These will be of substantial benefit as HausVorteil transitions from a privately owned into a public listed company. The company has already converted from a GmbH into an AG.
The listing will provide HausVorteil with access to capital and an increased profile as it scales its model, taking advantage of the rebound in Germany's residential property market.
Infinitas is a Swiss family office known for its extensive expertise in real estate investments, innovative startups, and capital markets. Under the leadership of Robin Lauber, Infinitas is expanding its investment perspective and aims to redefine the role of family office investments by focusing strongly on real estate, societal issues, and innovations.
Sören Ploschke, the new CFO of HausVorteil, said:
'I am really excited to join HausVorteil as CFO at this pivotal time, as the company prepares to list. The company is well positioned to become a leader in what is a relatively new sector in Germany, but well established elsewhere. The support from Infinitas provides us with strong financing, and a cornerstone investor with a long term view that should prove a great benefit when we list, which in our view represents a great opportunity for retail and institutional investors alike.
'In addition to all the positive activity around the listing, I also look forward to supporting the development and expansion of HausVorteil, its product range, and its commitment to addressing pressing societal issues and creating positive change.'
Dirk Hotopp, Managing Director at HausVorteil, said:
' We were immediately drawn to Sören's competences in the management and development of medium-sized companies. He is excellently placed to steer us through our listing and beyond, with his clear leadership skills, high standard of service and entrepreneurial vision.
'I am delighted to have Sören on the team as we work towards further financial and operational growth, expanding the product range, attracting more direct customers, growing white-label solutions, and expanding our network of partners.'
Robin Lauber, Founder at Infinitas Capital, concluded:
"HausVorteil has continued to prudently evaluate capital markets, and we are delighted with the company's work towards listing. This marks a pivotal step towards accelerated growth, an expanded product range, and geographical reach.
"The societal benefits of HausVorteil, and business case for the company, remain rock solid. The partial purchase model, or full purchase model with living rights, enables homeowners to adapt their living spaces according to their needs. The combination of these social and financial benefits is the reason why we support the company, and we look forward to its future plans.'

Toyo introduces new ink system for flexographic printing

Toyo Ink Europe has launched a new low migration ink, called Steraflex GIO, to enhance its flexographic print performance. This new low migration ink is engineered to deliver print and press performance on various label substrates, sleeves, and applications where minimal migration is crucial. Steraflex GIO meets the stringent standards set by the European Printing Ink Association, Swiss Ordinance, the ECHA SVHC list, and other European regulations, including the German Ink Ordinance (GIO). It is said to be free from intentionally added photo initiator 379, thus meeting present and future stipulations of the GIO. This adherence instils confidence in printers and brand proprietors, especially when crafting packaging for delicate uses in the food and pharmaceutical industries, stated the company. The next-generation binder system in Steraflex GIO ensures enhanced adhesion on a wide array of substrates, including standard films and challenging label materials. It exhibits a significant improvement in bond strength, particularly on low-surface tension substrates such as biaxially oriented polypropylene, offering converters and brands more versatility without sacrificing the quality or safety of the print. Toyo Ink Europe sales and corporate strategy general manager Ismail Yilmaz said: "With increasing regulatory scrutiny on food packaging inks, compliance and transparency are more important than ever.' Additionally, the Toyo Ink Europe team has completed intensive training at Omet Demo Center to improve its flexographic expertise. The company said in a statement: 'This hands-on programme deepened our understanding of flexographic printing and brought together colleagues from different departments and regions to strengthen both our know-how and cooperation.' The session further bolstered the company's ongoing partnership with Italian distributor T&K. "Toyo introduces new ink system for flexographic printing " was originally created and published by Packaging Gateway, a GlobalData owned brand. Swiss Economy Slows Sharply as Tariffs Weigh

Switzerland's economic growth slowed sharply in the second quarter, as strong frontrunning of U.S. tariffs in the early part of the year unwound, raising the chance that the Swiss central bank will cut interest rates to below zero later this year. Gross domestic product rose 0.1% in the three months to the end of June, down from the 0.8% growth of the first quarter, statistical agency SECO said in a flash estimate on Friday. Rivian Says It Faces $100 Million Hole After Relaxation of Fuel Economy Rules Warren Buffett's Berkshire Further Pares Stake in Apple, Adds UnitedHealth Position Growth in the first three months of 2025 was led by U.S. stockpiling of Swiss goods exports, especially pharmaceuticals, a key sector for Swiss industry. Much of that has unraveled since as exports declined after President Trump's tariff announcements in early April. Contraction in industry was counterbalanced by gains in the services sector in the second quarter, SECO said. The agency said it would release more details on the breakdown on Aug. 28. The outlook for the future has grown more pessimistic. The Trump administration at the end of July said it would impose a 39% tariff rate on most Swiss imports, making Switzerland a rare country to be threatened with higher levies than originally announced. That tariff rate, one of the highest in the world, would cut the Alpine nation's GDP by about 0.5% over the next year, according to Goldman Sachs analysis. Industry association Swissmem called the outcome a 'horror scenario' and that it could cost Switzerland tens of thousands of jobs. However, there remain questions about the level of pharmaceutical tariffs yet to be decided by the U.S. In addition to pharmaceutical majors Roche and Novartis, Switzerland is also home to famed luxury watchmakers and the consumer-goods giant Nestle. 'The economy is likely to expand only slowly the next couple of quarters as high U.S. tariffs and elevated business uncertainty weigh on exports and investment,' Adrian Prettejohn, Europe economist at Capital Economics said in a note to clients. Alongside near-zero inflation, that will likely persuade the Swiss National Bank to cut its key rate below zero later this year, he added. The interest rate was last below zero for around eight years until 2022. The central bank has reduced its main interest rate to zero as it attempts to curtail the appreciating franc, which makes Swiss exports even less attractive. The franc has risen this year as investors flocked to the safe-haven currency amid choppy geopolitical waters.
