Hulk Hogan's cause of death revealed

The post Hulk Hogan's cause of death revealed appeared first on ClutchPoints. The WWE world got devastating news about a week ago when they learned about the death of Hulk Hogan. Since then, there had not been any update on the cause of his death, until now. Records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center show that Hogan, whose real name was Terrence Gene, died from an acute myocardial infarction, which is known as a heart attack, according to TMZ. Hogan also had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat. Hogan had a history of leukemia, but that was not previously known. On the day of his death, police and medics were called to Hogan's house in Florida for a person suffering cardiac arrest. The first responders tried to revive Hogan for 30 minutes, and he was then taken to a local hospital, where he was declared dead. The WWE issued a statement about the Hall of Famer's death, saying, 'WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans.' Other wrestlers and celebrities also sent their condolences to Hogan and his family, and the WWE did a tribute for him during Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. Hogan was known as one of the more iconic wrestlers in entertainment history and had faced off against some of the best in the business as well. Though Hogan had an illustrious career, there were also some controversial moments in his life, such as some racist remarks he had made. Hogan will always be remembered in WWE history, and it's safe to say he had a big part in how the business has been shaped over this time. Hulk Hogan passes away at 71

The post Hulk Hogan passes away at 71 appeared first on ClutchPoints. Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has died — the six-time world champion was 71 years old. TMZ Sports was first to report the tragic news. He passed away in his home in Clearwater, Florida, 'early' on Thursday, July 24, 2025. According to the report, there were several police cars and EMTs parked outside the Hogan residence. The news comes weeks after his wife, Sky, denied reports that he was in a coma. She claimed that his heart was 'strong' in the aftermath of recent surgeries. Previously, TMZ Sports reported that he was on his 'deathbed' following a neck surgery he had in May 2025. He then passed away a few months later. Hulk Hogan's WWE and acting careers before his death Hogan was the face of WWE, then the WWF, throughout the '70s and '80s. After brief stints in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the American Wrestling Association, he returned to the WWF in 1983. Throughout the '90s, he had runs in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) before another return to WWE. He also had a stint in Total Nonstop Action (TNA). He helped professional wrestling cross over into the mainstream. While Hogan is most known for his time in professional wrestling, he also starred in movies like Rocky III, No Hold Barred, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Additionally, he had roles in episodes of The A-Team, Baywatch, Robot Chicken, and The Goldbergs. His last movie role came in 2011 when he voiced Terrafirminator V.O. in Gnomeo & Juliet. Hogan had not wrestled since his last TNA stint in 2012. He recently made an appearance during WWE's Monday Night RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025. However, he did not get a hero's welcome. Hogan, who was promoting his Real American Beer brand, was booed out of the building. That marked his last appearance in WWE. During his wrestling career, Hogan was a six-time world champion. He was also a one-time Tag Team Champion with Edge, and he won two Royal Rumbles (going back-to-back in 1990 and 1991). Hogan was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice — once individually and once as part of the New World Order. Brooke Hogan explains her absence at Hulk Hogan WWE tributes

The post Brooke Hogan explains her absence at Hulk Hogan WWE tributes appeared first on ClutchPoints. Brooke Hogan is setting the record straight on why she has not attended any WWE tributes for her late father, Hulk Hogan. The WWE icon died last week at the age of 71 from a heart attack, according to multiple sources. The Brooke Knows Best star shared a post on her Instagram Story, writing, 'For those of you giving me crap for not attending my Dad's tributes, @wwe did not extend an invite.' The WWE has yet to respond to Brooke's message. The post follows Brooke breaking her silence on her father's death after their estranged relationship over the past two years. She shared in their last conversation in 2023 she shared that it was not one 'fight' that stopped them from speaking with one another. 'When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,' Brooke wrote. '… I know he's at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have.' 'It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand,' she added. 'My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.' Brooke, who is now the mother of twins she shares with her husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy, shared that she supported him through his declining health. Throughout Hulk's 35 year career in the WWE, he had 25 surgeries. He told boxer Jake Paul of this last year. 'I've had like 25 surgeries in the last 10 years,' he told Jake Paul on the IMPAULSIVE podcast in September 2024. 'I've had 10 back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders—everything.' In addition to his 25 surgeries for WWE injuries he was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia, a form of blood cancer, that he battled privately. Brooke spoke how she was able to support him throughout the surgeries until he no longer wanted her there. 'We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries…everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through,' she continued. Hulk Hogan honored at WWE Monday Night RAW and WWE NXT It came to a point for Brooke that she had decided to stop disagreeing with her father and create space in their relationship. 'He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit,' she added. 'I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me.' In the end, she did what was best for her emotionally and that she still loved her father despite everything. 'I know in my heart I did everything I could,' Brooke concluded. 'He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.' So far, WWE honored the late wrestling icon at WWE's Monday Night RAW earlier this week and WWE NXT on Tuesday (July 29). Despite Brooke's absence, her brother, Nick, was at the WWE Monday Night RAW event in honor of their late father.
