The Arab Table Tennis Association has announced that Morocco will host the Arab Table Tennis Championship 2025, which will be held from September 10 to 18.
The tournament includes team, singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competitions, and covers the following age groups: men's and women's teams (born in 2005 and older), youth teams under 19, junior teams under 17, junior teams under 15, hopeful teams under 13, and junior teams under 11.
The Arab Table Tennis Association has appointed international referee Abdullah Boujaham as the tournament's general referee, while international referee Abdelhadi Boukhira or international referee Ahmed Benamou will serve as the assistant referee.
The tournament draw is scheduled for September 10, and the hall will open for training on September 9.
The Arab Table Tennis Association, headed by Qatari Khalil Al Mohannadi, announced the dates for the 36th edition of the Arab Clubs Championship in the Sultanate of Oman, which will take place from August 30 to September 4.

Tribune News Network Doha Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and in the presence of HE Lt Gen (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, Qatar Armed Forces Sports Association celebrated the conclusion of the 2025 Summer Activity Programme for the children of the Armed Forces personnel. This year's edition witnessed a high turnout and strong engagement, with over 400 participants taking part. The activities lasted for a full month and were organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments & Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Interior represented by the Directorate of Studies and International Affairs, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Shooting, Archery & Bow Federation, Ihsan Center, and Aspire Academy. The closing ceremony featured a brief showcase of sports activities the students participated in during the programme, such as football, basketball, shooting, swimming and martial arts. These activities, supervised by officers and coaches from Qatar Armed Forces Sports Association, helped develop the students' athletic skills and provided an opportunity to discover numerous sporting talents. At the end of the ceremony, the Chief of Staff honoured the entities that participated in the summer programme, in the presence of several senior commanders and officers from the Armed Forces, as well as the participants' parents.

High-level security delegation from US visits Qatar

Tribune News Network DOHA The Security Committee of the Supreme Committee at Delivery & Legacy has received a high-level security delegation representing Federal Agencies and Local police authorities from the United States of America. The delegation was received by representatives of the Tournament Security Force from various security units involved in securing tournaments and events in the State of Qatar. The delegation's visit to the State of Qatar follows the recent visit of HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force 'Lekhwiya' - Chairman of the Security Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy - to the United States. That visit witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Qatari Ministry of Interior and the US Department of Homeland Security, aimed at enhancing security cooperation between the two friendly countries and exchanging expertise in the field of securing major sporting events, particularly in the context of the ongoing preparations to secure the FIFA World Cup 2026.
