'I thought it was a hat!' Video of man with bob throwing shapes in Ibiza sparks hilarious memes

Daily Mail2 days ago
A young partygoer with a stylish bob has been spotted cutting shapes in Ibiza.
Footage of the man - Jack Kay - went viral at the start of this week as he was filmed donning a gold chain and pair of sunglasses with a baby pink cup gripped in his hand.
But it was the dancer's haircut that caught the attention of thousands of social media users - with many saying they thought the 'top bloke' had been wearing a hat.
The lone reveller's bright white teeth contrast perfectly with his black vest as he purses his lips and throws out his best moves to the groove of the music.
Several thousand people have commented under the footage on TikTok after it was uploaded with a plea to locate the 'absolute legend'.
Somebody claimed the mystery dancer was in fact 'Lloyd Christmas ' - a character from the film Dumb and Dumber who is also known to sport an iconic bob.
One person said: 'When you've got Ibiza at 3 but the battle of hastings at 4.'
Another added: 'That's a hat right? It is... it must be? Tell me it is...'.
Since the footage spread online Mr Kay - now known as "Ibiza final boss" has uploaded a brand new video to TikTok - but this time with friends.
He can be seen wearing the same iconic sunglasses and gold chain pulling out more dance moves from under his belt as a mate puts his arm around Mr Kay's neck.
A montage of photos also shows the partygoer enjoying himself with "the lads".
Somebody commented under the video: 'Short back and Battle of Hastings, cheers mate.'
Another person said: 'Short back and magna carter please mate.'
And a third concluded: 'Are the mandem from Sherwood Forest as well?'
Mr Kay has already developed a fanbase with some admirers even using him as their artistic muse.
Someone who had painted a portrait of the reveller caption their social media post: 'Excellent use of free will if I do say so myself.'
Somebody concluded: 'When you've got Ibiza at 3 but the battle of hastings at 4.' The tweet was liked nearly 5000 times
A number of people have even taken selfies with the Ibiza final boss as they bump into him on the island.
Tony Truman, co-owner of Ocean Beach Ibiza, posed for a picture with the young champ while another fan mistook him for the DJ and presenter Charlie Sloth on their first encounter.

Interviewing Hitler by Richard Evans review – the most unethical journalist in history

Some years ago, a colleague on the Irish Times took the columnist Nuala O'Faolain to lunch. Nuala was famous, and feared, as a controversialist who specialised in attacking popular pieties, unless it was the pietests who were under attack, in which case she would spring immediately to their defence. The pair had hardly finished their starters when the colleague, who had been in newspapers long enough to know better, heard himself asking Nuala how she managed to have so many opinions, enough to fill 52 columns yearly, as well as the odd special assignment. Nuala, cutlery suspended in mid-air, looked at him incredulously and said: 'What are you talking about? I haven't any opinions – I'm a journalist.' Richard Evans, although a former newsman himself, does not seem to have grasped the first commandment in the journalist's catechism: stop at nothing in pursuit of a story. His subject, George Ward Price, certainly adhered to it. Dubbed by Ernest Hemingway 'the Monocled Prince of the Press', he was one of the most successful and most famous journalists of his time. Born in 1886, the son of a clergyman, he lived for 75 years, and died largely forgotten but extremely rich, leaving more than £125,000 in his will, 'at a time when', Evans writes, 'the average annual UK salary was around £1,000'. When Ward Price was at school, a friend said of him that his ambition was to be either 'a bishop, or on the staff of the Daily Mail'. He hearkened to the latter calling, and quickly became the Mail's star journo, producing scoop after scoop and leaving the competition stumbling in his wake. His greatest triumphs came in the 1930s, when he courted the Nazis zealously, in particular Hitler, who in Linz, on the evening after the German annexation of Austria, 'greeted him with a smile. 'Well, Ward Price,' he said. 'Always there!'' Ward Price's reporting came in for serious criticism, including from Winston Churchill, who declared on meeting him: 'I see that you've been over in Germany again, shaking the bloodstained hands of your Nazi friends.' In his autobiography, Extra-Special Correspondent, published in 1957, Ward Price claimed that he 'reported his [Hitler's] statements accurately, leaving British newspaper readers to form their own opinion of their worth'. For other commentators, he was merely the 'international mouthpiece for the Duce and for the Führer'. In any case, early on in his book, Evans produces a piece of evidence that, taken at face value, unequivocally condemns the Mail's preeminent reporter. Six months after the Anschluss, and following Neville Chamberlain's peace mission to Germany, Ward Price spent some days at Hitler's holiday retreat in the Bavarian Alps. Here he had exclusive access to the Nazi leader in all his moods, from the avuncular to the manic. At the end of his stay, as Evans writes, Ward Price 'came down from the mountain with the biggest story in the world'. That story was of Hitler's determination to take over the Czech Sudetenland, and by implication, his plans for further, wider conquests. However, the piece that appeared in the Mail seems to have been a tempered version of what Ward Price had written. And who did the tempering? Joseph Goebbels, who was at Berchtesgaden at the time, wrote in his diary: 'He [Hitler] is still revising the interview by Ward Price, which has turned out very well. It was somewhat too effusive.' Evans makes surprisingly little of this explosive snippet, yet it is the smoking gun at the heart of his book. If Ward Price did allow Hitler to tone down what he had recorded, it would have been a total betrayal of himself as a journalist. Securing the 'biggest story in the world' was possible only through an extraordinary act of malpractice. It is one thing to tell yourself you have no opinions, are merely an accurate chronicler – it is quite another to permit your subject to burnish his own image. When your subject is Hitler, it is wickedness itself. Interviewing Hitler: How George Ward Price Became the World's Most Famous Journalist by Robert Evans is published by The History Press (£22). Love Island's Blu in secret feud with another Islander – and it'll surprise fans

LOVE Island's Blu is embroiled in a secret feud with another Islander - and the identity of who might surprise fans. The original villa lad, who was a shock returnee bombshell, has been uncovered to have a secret feud with one of his fellow Islanders. 4 4 Blu Chegini, 26, is following pretty much everyone from his series on Instagram - except for one person. The hunky former Islander does not follow Yasmin Pettet on the photo-sharing app. This is surprising because Blu and Yasmin had a very flirty conversation before she went exclusive with her man Jamie Rhodes. "I was interested to meet you because I feel like you are a good looking boy and we're kind of similar in a sense," Yasmin said to Blu when he made his return. "You have this sexual energy and so do I," she went on. "I like it when you stick it on," he responded. "You can stick on me for sure." He later offered to give Yas a 'little tour' of his mum's sex shop in Marbella. He even talked her through the kinds of toys that are sold there. The chat did not go unnoticed by Jamie, who found himself trying not to rise to the bait at the time. Watch the tragic moment Yasmin's family told her white lie about cat Miaow Miaow in the Love Island villa But despite his flirty conversation with Yas, Blu doe not follow her. Though he surprisingly follows Jamie. It is also shocking because he had an issue with Toni Laites, but is following her and Cach Mercer after their triumphant win on Monday. This comes after we revealed the penultimate week in the iconic Love Island villa left 1,153 fans up in arms over " bullying behaviour". Love Island's biggest Ofcom complaints Love Island has been hit with thousands of complaints over the years - here are the most moaned about moments Dani's tears: In 2018, Ofcom received 2,644 complaints when Dani Dyer was left in floods of tears over Jack Fincham during the Casa Amor. Viewers felt the show had been manipulated to make it appear Jack was going to cheat, when in fact he wasn't. And poor Dani didn't learn the truth for days. Maura fury: Although she later won over the public, Maura Higgins got off to a bad start in 2019. After arriving as a bombshell, she made a beeline for Tommy Fury - who was coupled up with Molly-Mae Hague - and tried to kiss him while straddling him on a daybed. 709 people accused her actions of being 'sexual harassment'. Faye explodes: The 2021 series of Love Island remains the most complained series about yet. 4,330 complaints were made to Ofcom after Faye Winter received a postcard from Casa Amor, which appeared to show her fella Teddy Soares kissing a bombshell. But a whopping 24,763 complaints flooded in when Faye came face-to-face with Teddy again. Faye's shocking outburst even sparked a reaction from male domestic abuse charity, ManKind Initiative, who branded her 'unacceptable'. Bish bash: The following year, the fallout from Movie Night sparked 3,617 Ofcom complaints. Fans of the show were horrified by Luca Bish's harsh reaction when Gemma Owen was shown speaking to bombshell Billy Brown. Muggy Mitch: Almost 1,000 Ofcom complaints flooded in from viewers unimpressed with Mitchel Taylor's treatment of Abi Moores. They felt he was 'targeting' her and even urged Love Island bosses to check on Abi's 'mental health and welfare'. The complaints about bullying were linked to Toni and Shakira, Meg, Dejon and Blu. 618 viewers logged complaints for this episode. The following day on July 31, the majority of complaints related to Dejon's behaviour towards Meg. A total of 289 viewers took their concerns to the regulator in the form of a complaint. Meanwhile, on August 1, fans were concerned about one of the couples again. The majority of complaints for this episode related to Dejon's behaviour towards Meg. The total number of complaints on this day were 144. Just last week we reported how Ofcom had received 9,000 complaints for the previous week. In total 9,339 contacted Ofcom with their concerns. While 298 complaints related to the way Blu spoke to Toni and 55 complaints were about Megan returning to the villa. 4

Myleene Klass declares she 'has receipts' and insists she 'won't keep her mouth shut' in defiant post after her explosive claims her ex-husband cheated on her with a female star

Myleene Klass has declared she 'won't keep her mouth shut' in a defiant new post, after her explosive claims that her ex-husband Graham Quinn cheated on her. The presenter, 47, sparked a social media frenzy last month when she claimed that she caught Graham being unfaithful with a female celebrity, but refused to disclose her identity. After opening up about the scandal in an interview for Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene took to Instagram Stories to share a reflective post. The post also included a snap of her MBE, after receiving the honour for her services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and charity last month. She wrote: 'Wow. What a week it's been! 'Firstly, thank you. I have quite literally tens of thousands of messages of love and support for me and my family. I took a long time to learn there's strength in vulnerability. 'In a varied week where my interview with @paulcbrunson and @needtotalk went viral and reached the people who needed to hear it, where I was part of the incredible @stjohn_ambulance team who helped to save a persons life and where my children and I somehow managed to rescue our passports from the bottom of the Adriatic, it's been a mixed bag! 'All this to say, at 47, I've finally found my voice and it's clear, unapologetic and brutally honest. 'To those that fear its truth, you probably have reason to, I have receipts, to those that need to hear it, I've got you and I fully intend to continue using it to change the laws and legislation that neglect women and children in this country and around the world.' Myleene then ended her post with a Bible quote, that said: 'And the truth will set you free' John 8.32,' before adding her own words: 'And then some.' The former One Show presenter left fans reeling when she dropped the explosive claim her that ex-husband cheated on her with a female celebrity in a very honest chat with Paul C Brunson. Myleene said she walked in on the moment ex Graham Quinn and the woman were taking each other's clothes off on the balcony of her home. Refusing to name the woman, Myleene hinted that the person in question has built a career off a 'family brand' and clarified that it was before they had got married. As mystery continues to swirl around the celebrity in question, Myleene declared she doesn't regret her honesty in the interview. She wrote on Instagram: ''You should do it, it would be good for you, but be honest, everyone knows when people aren't honest'. 'My manager before 'We need to talk podcast'. 'Errrrr s*** Leens, I didn't think you were going to be THAT honest'. My manager AFTER 'We need to talk podcast'. 'I flew back from abroad to do this podcast. I'd heard a lot about @paulcbrunson and had seen the @needtotalk headlines. As I've gotten older, more comfortable with being vulnerable, I'm drawn to things that stretch and challenge me. 'I wasn't prepared for how disarming Paul is and how he looks into your soul and pulls out the very core of what makes you tick. 'I didn't think he'd be able to do it. From the outside, what do we have in common? Maybe that was the challenge, to see what he had on me. Turns out, a lot. 'We ran into the night, five hours of recording, (subsequently multiple lawyers on both sides listened back and reached for their fire blankets) and we actually REALLY got on. 'The two of us in a room brought out raucous laughter, the kind where you throw your head back and ugly cackle, abject sorrow, shock and everything else in between. 'My life has been played out in public for 26 years. I've lost relationships, been turned over (by men, not all men, but always men) and had to rebuild on more than one occasion. 'I've also won. I won my jungle crown, my MBE, my family, my place and my peace. 'I don't care if people like me anymore, I'm not the terrified 20 year old girl from Hear'say being pelted with chow mein on stage for trying to sing a few songs. 'I'm no longer the girl who watched her life go up in smoke, fighting for everything I'd built from people who'd meticulously planned how to take it. 'I've been torn down by those who were meant to love me, I think I'll be ok. In fact, I know I will. A mixed race girl, a neek from Norfolk, no one expected much (my school report proves this). 'I learned to hustle, stand up for myself and leave the betrayals behind. Who knew being a Mum would be the making of me, as failing meant my children failing (including the ones I never got to hold) and that was never going to happen.' Myleene first started going out with her Irish bodyguard in 2001 and they were together for 12 years until they announced their split in 2013. The mother-of-two explained: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.' According to the TV presenter, the pair tried to claim that it wasn't what it looked like and she continued: 'I'm in my house, it's my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think'. But I'm like, 'It is what I think'. 'It's the first thing they both said. I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said: 'He doesn't get it from me'. 'I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say,' she told the love expert. Graham - with whom Myleene shares her two children Ava, 17, and 13-year-old Hero - tried to blame the incident on being drunk. She admitted the whole ordeal was a 'pretty big red flag' but still went through with their wedding in October 2011. Turning her thoughts towards the other woman, Myleene said: 'I've made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. 'My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly and their life, they've managed to continue building a family brand on it. I have to take some accountability 'Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions and it's never been a case of laying out my stall now. 'It's got to be as and when. But here's the funny thing - school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.' Myleene previously recalled the twisted request the women Graham cheated on her with asked her. Myleene said on Loose Women: '100%, I've been on the receiving of someone who cheated on me. I was extremely disturbed as was my family as was the ripple effect of people who have to live with those actions. 'Put it this way, one of the people that he cheated on me with asked to have a photo with me and I refused. 'One of the people that he had an affair with or a relationship with just said 'Can I have a photo with you?' 'I said 'No. I do not agree with what you stand for'. If I then put myself, If I align myself or have allegiance to you as a person, that photo is out there forever. 'I don't agree with women or men having their lives turned upside down with lies and deceit because you didn't think it was that big of a crime. 'You're messing with peoples emotions and their lives. They have permanent repercussions.' Myleene previously revealed she was ' sobbing in the bath' the night before her wedding to Graham. The former Hear'Say popstar said 'she knew it wasn't right' between her and her partner at the time but went through with things anyway. Speaking on Loose Women, Myleene then admitted she knew that he was unfaithful ahead of their wedding day and said she realised she wanted a divorce three days into the marriage. Myleene went ahead and married Graham in October 2011, with just 16 guests in attendance, however their romance came to a crashing close six months after the wedding before they were granted a divorce two years later.
