Kinkiest US states revealed: Is yours steamy — or just plain dull?
It's the home of Sin City — and a whole lot of raunchy residents.
Those looking to spice up their sex life should move to Nevada, which was recently ranked the kinkiest state in the USA, according to a salacious new study by SmutFinder.
The site, which uses artificial intelligence to create custom erotic stories, compiled 'kink scores' based on five key metrics to look at the steamiest states in the Union.

New York ranked 13th when it comes to getting freaky while our neighbors across the Hudson in New Jersey clocked in as the most boring in the boudoir.
SmutFinder's five metrics were online searches for adult content, online searches for adult stores and related terms like 'adult toys,' online searches for fetish-related terms such as pegging and BDSM, number of OnlyFans creators, and number of strip clubs.

This data, adjusted for the population of each state, was based on an intensive 15-month analysis of data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Google Keyword Planner, and Only4Search.

The goal wasn't to kink-shame certain US regions, but rather to glean 'better insight into where interest in adult content and experiences is most concentrated,' a SmutFinder spokesperson declared.
'These rankings aren't about judgment; they're about understanding,' they insisted. 'Whether you're quietly curious or proudly adventurous, it's fascinating to see how different regions express interest on their own terms.'
6 Clocking in at 13th place was New York, where coincidentally the favorite kink is the giantess fetish — a sexual fascination with preternaturally large women.

From these raunchy results, researchers concluded that 'kink isn't just a coastal trend or urban phenomenon, but rather that 'curiosity and exploration are gaining momentum in unexpected places.'
Nevada was the capital of kink, coming in first place in terms of OnlyFans creators per capita, second place in online searches for adult stores, while also 'placing in the top 10 for searches related to fetishes.'
The home of Sin City also 'performs above average in interest in adult content and strip clubs per capita as well.'

Following close on their heels were Colorado, Oregon and Texas respectively, proving that everything is bigger in the Lone Star State, including sexual appetites.
6 SmutFinder based their findings on search results.

The wildcard was the fifth-place contender Wyoming, which ranked second when it came to strip clubs per capita and boasted average scores across the other four categories.
'The Equality State may be small in population, but it's clearly curious about the wild side,' SmutFinder wrote.

As for the tamest states, New Jersey ranks as number 1 despite its density and proximity to the debaucherous Big Apple.
While certain headlines might make our neighbors seem like something out of the 1979 sexploitation flick 'Caligula,' the Garden State is surprisingly staid when it comes to fetishes, ranking last in OnlyFans creators per capita.
It also sits near the bottom in terms of online searches for both adult content and adult stores, per the SmutFinder study.
In conclusion, 'New Jersey takes a backseat when it comes to turning up the heat,' the erotica hawker wrote.

Waldorf-Astoria Hotel promises it will finally reopen in September after numerous delays
Cue up Cole Porter! The iconic Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, once home to the great Broadway composer but closed for eight years, will finally reopen to guests in September — months later than Hilton promised it would, and after four previous delays since the hotel closed in 2017. A Hilton Instagram post says, 'The iconic hotel is set to welcome guests once again this coming September.' 3 The iconic Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, which has beenclosed for eight years, will finally reopen to guests in September — months later than Hilton promised it would. Christopher Sadowski A Waldorf-Astoria New York spokesperson told The Post, 'We expect to open our doors sooner. Our exact opening date is still being determined.' An industry source said, 'No wonder they're being cautious. Every time they touted a reopening, it didn't happen.' A reopening will be a relief to Hilton, which has 90 years left on a 100-year management contract. The Waldorf was first touted to reopen in 2021, 2023, 2024 and, most recently, this spring. The Waldorf-Astoria is beloved by New Yorkers and visitors for its Art Deco architecture and interior treasures such as Peacock Alley with Cole Porter's piano, which will again be on display. Multiple media outlets have touted hotel managing director Luigi Romaniello, its decorators, a restaurant called Lex Yard run by Gramercy Tavern chef Michael Anthony — and also the inaccurate opening schedules. 3 The Waldorf-Astoria is beloved by New Yorkers and visitors for its Art Deco architecture and interior treasures such as Peacock Alley with Cole Porter's piano (abovce), which will again be on display. A Hilton web site posting for staff uniforms 'designed by NO Uniform, the specialist design studio led by acclaimed British couture designer Nicholas Oakwell,' also included the September reopening date. Construction sources told The Post in February that the Waldorf's spring target couldn't be met and the hotel wouldn't be ready to receive guests until as late as October. Hilton operates several dozen hotels and resorts around the world branded as the 'Waldorf Astoria Collection.' But sources said Hilton suits were 'privately fuming' over repeated delays to bringing back the original Waldorf on Park Avenue. Hilton sold the landmarked property to China's Anbang Insurance Group for $1.95 billion in 2015. Anbang was to convert more than half of the landmark to luxury condos while reducing 1,400 guest rooms and suites to 375, although the new ones would be larger than the originals. 3 Construction sources told The Post in February that the Waldorf's spring target couldn't be met and the hotel wouldn't be ready to receive guests until as late as October. Christopher Sadowski But as the $2 billion-plus construction project inched along, Anbang's chief executive was imprisoned by the Chinese government in 2018. A new company, Daija Insurance Group, took over the Waldorf job — but proved little more swift than its predecessor. The new Waldorf boasts 375 luxury condo units, a few of which have begun receiving residents. Sources said Daija's frenzy to complete the condos — from studios priced just below $2 million to lavish four-bedroom units up to $15 million — got the most attention. 'The hotel part wasn't on the fast track,' one source said.

British canoeist forced to decide between Olympic dream and his ‘spicy' OnlyFans page
Canoeist Kurts Adams Rozentals has a decision to make — his OnlyFans or the Olympics. The British athlete was reportedly suspended last month by governing body Paddle UK, and he suspects it has something to do with his racy activity online. 'I have been posting videos (on Instagram) that are consciously made to be edgy in order to drive conversions to my 'spicy content page' (on OnlyFans), to fund this ultimate dream of going to the Olympics,' Rozentals said in an interview with BBC Sport. 4 Kurts Adams Rozentals, who competes in the individual canoe slalom, was suspended in April by governing body Paddle UK following 'allegations' about his posts on social media. Instagram/@kurtsadams 4 Paddle UK removed Rozentals from its World Class Programme pending an investigation Instagram/@kurtsadams Rozentals was removed from the World Class Programme, an initiative for potential Olympic athletes, by Paddle UK pending investigation, leaving his canoeing dreams up in the air. 'I kind of froze and I couldn't believe the words I was hearing because this is what I put my life into this is everything I do,' Rozentals told the outlet of the moment he heard the news. 'My personality at this point, my identity, is sport and I want to be a professional athlete chasing my Olympic dream.' BBC Sport reported Rozentals 'has more than 10,000 'likes' on the platform and 'has posted 39 videos and over 100 photos' earning more than '£100,000 (about $135,000) since creating his OnlyFans account in January.' 'This is the hardest decision that I've ever faced in my life,' Rozentals said. 'I came to the realization about why I started doing this last winter after years of struggle, living on the edge, my mum working 90 hours-a-week, having bailiffs at the door. 4 Rozentals created his OnlyFans to help fund his training. Instagram/@kurtsadams 'I'm going to find a way where we don't have to struggle, where my mum can enjoy her life and I'm able to put everything into this sport because when you're thinking about how to pay the rent this month and you're standing at the start line, that's not very conducive (to performing well).' As a UK Paddle Programme athlete, Rozentals had been receiving £16,000 a year — around $21,600 — but said that's nowhere near enough to sustain himself. 'I don't know how much you need but it's certainly not £16,000,' said Rozentals. 'When you have to cover rent, travel, food… and most athletes who train full-time are all living in London. 4 Rozentals posts videos and pictures on his Instagram account to drive viewers towards the content. Instagram/@kurtsadams 'They're very fortunate to have parent backing — I wasn't. I never had the ability to move to London because of financial struggles so I was always doing the travel from the East Midlands, where I live, to London, back-and-forth, back-and-forth.'
