NCT's Yuta to host solo concert in Japan
Yuta of NCT is slated to hold his first standalone shows in Japan starting Oct. 2, his label SM Entertainment said Tuesday.
The tour destinations for 'Yuta Live Tour 2025' are Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyagi, Ishikawa, Hiroshima, Hyogo and Kanagawa. He will have 13 shows in total until Dec. 6.
In October last year, the idol traveled around five cities in his native country for nine showcases under the title 'Hope,' celebrating the beginning of his solo career. The weekslong showcase tour followed the release of his first solo EP in Japan, 'Depth,' which ranked No. 4 on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking.
In May, he dropped Japan single 'Twisted Paradise' and topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in eight regions.

Le Sserafim tops Oricon chart with 4th Japan single
Le Sserafim's fourth single in Japan debuted atop Oricon's Daily Single Ranking, ther group's agency Source Music said Wednesday. The five members celebrated the news with fans at a showcase to mark the release of single 'Different' held in Tokyo on Tuesday. The single album consists of three tracks — the title track, as well as a Japanese language version of 'Hot' and 'Kawaii (prod. Gen Hoshino).' Heo Yunjin wrote the English lyrics for the latter. The quintet concluded the Japan leg of tour 'Easy Crazy Hot' earlier this month, visiting four cities in the country. The tour will resume in Taipei next month and in November, the five members will return to Japan for an encore concert at Tokyo Dome. It will be their first ever show at the venue.

BTS' J-Hope marks record Billboard Hot 100 solo entries
J-Hope of BTS hit Billboard's Hot 100 at No. 40 with solo single 'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla),' according to the chart published on Tuesday in the US. It is his eighth solo endeavor to enter the main songs chart, the most for a K-pop solo musician. It also landed the artist his highest spot yet, surpassing his 2023 release 'On the Street (with J. Cole),' which claimed No. 60. All three of the singles J-Hope has dropped this year made the Hot 100 chart: 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' ranked No. 66 and 'Mona Lisa' No. 65. 'Killin' It Girl,' the last installment in his singles project, notched the top spot on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart and made the top five on both the Global excl. US and Global 20 charts. It also entered the UK Official Singles Top 100 at No. 30, another career-high for him.

NCT Dream to return in July with 5th LP
NCT Dream will be back July 14 with its fifth studio album, label SM Entertainment announced Monday. The band of seven will return with the LP 'Go Back To The Future,' a nine-track set that will portray the emotions and experiences of traveling through time with a time machine. The time travel device is likely to be a hover board — if a teaser clip for the LP is an indication — a symbolic item from the septet's debut single 'Chewing Gum.' From next week, a string of teasers will be released, and on July 9, the music video for the main track 'BTTF' will be unveiled. On the following day, the band will kick off its fourth world tour, 'Dream Show 4: Dream The Future,' in Seoul.
