
DBKL removes 18 illegally parked m-cycles at Bangsar LRT station
In a statement today, City Hall said it acted on public complaints on illegally parked vehicles and would continue periodic enforcement.
"In the latest enforcement exercise, 18 motorcycles were towed to DBKL's vehicle impound depot in Jalan Pahang for further action, including issuing compounds.
"DBKL issued 70 compounds for various traffic offences during the operation," it said in a Facebook post.
City Hall reminded road users, especially motorcyclists, to obey traffic rules and to ensure their vehicles were parked properly without obstructing pedestrians or traffic flow.

The video, posted on Facebook around 12.30pm, shows the man raising the national flag incorrectly while another individual recorded the incident. The complainant, who spotted the video, suspected the incident took place in Kepala Batas and lodged a police report at the Kepala Batas police station. Seberang Prai Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Anuar Abd Rahman confirmed in a statement tonight that investigations are ongoing. "Statements have been recorded from the complainant and individuals involved. "The case is being probed under Section 5 of the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act 1963, Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998," he said.
