Geeky Gadgets09-05-2025

Have you ever wondered why some AI-generated visuals feel like pure magic while others fall flat? The secret often lies in the prompts—those seemingly simple strings of text that guide the AI's creative process. With the release of Midjourney 7, crafting effective prompts has become both an art and a science, offering unparalleled opportunities for customization and creativity. But here's the catch: not all prompts are created equal. Whether you're aiming for breathtaking landscapes, intricate concept art, or mood-driven designs, the way you structure your input can make or break the results. This coverage will show you how to harness the full potential of Midjourney 7 by writing prompts that don't just work—they excel.
In the following guide by Future Tech Pilot, you'll uncover the strategies that separate average outputs from truly stunning visuals. From the flexibility of open-ended prompting to the emotional depth of vibe-based techniques, and the precision of instructional approaches, each method unlocks a unique facet of the AI's capabilities. You'll also learn how to use tools like personalization codes and mood boards to tailor results to your exact vision. Whether you're a designer, artist, or just curious about AI creativity, this guide will empower you to transform vague ideas into vivid, polished imagery. After all, the difference between good and great isn't just in the AI—it's in how you speak its language. Mastering Midjourney 7 Prompts Open-Ended Prompting: Sparking Creativity Through Flexibility
Open-ended prompting is a versatile approach designed to inspire creativity and explore broad concepts. This method uses the AI's interpretative capabilities, making it an excellent choice for brainstorming or when you're unsure of the exact direction you want to take. By providing minimal yet evocative input, you allow the AI to generate diverse and unexpected outputs.
For example, a single word like 'serenity' or a broad art style such as 'impressionism' can serve as a starting point for the AI to create a variety of visuals. Incorporating 'power prompts'—short, impactful phrases—further enhances this technique by giving the AI room to innovate. Open-ended prompting is particularly useful for discovering fresh artistic directions, generating unique ideas, or experimenting with abstract concepts.
This approach is ideal for projects where flexibility and exploration are key. It encourages the AI to interpret your input creatively, resulting in outputs that can surprise and inspire, making it a valuable tool for artists, designers, and creative thinkers alike. Vibe-Based Prompting: Setting the Mood and Atmosphere
Vibe-based prompting is the method of choice when your goal is to evoke a specific emotion or atmosphere in your visuals. This technique involves combining descriptive keywords that define the subject, setting, attributes, and overall tone, creating a cohesive emotional and visual framework for the AI to follow.
For instance, a prompt like 'sunlit forest, misty atmosphere, golden hues, tranquil' provides the AI with clear guidance on the desired mood and aesthetic. By carefully selecting and arranging keywords, you can guide the AI to produce visuals that align with your creative vision and resonate with your intended audience.
This method is particularly effective for storytelling, branding, or any project where the emotional impact of the visuals is paramount. Whether you're crafting a serene landscape, a dramatic scene, or a nostalgic memory, vibe-based prompting allows you to shape the atmosphere with precision and intent. Midjourney 7 Prompt Guide 2025

Instructional prompting is a structured approach that prioritizes clarity and control. By using detailed, well-organized sentences, you can specify exactly what you want the AI to create, eliminating ambiguity and making sure consistent results. This method is especially valuable for projects that demand accuracy, such as branding, product design, or detailed concept art.
A practical tool for instructional prompting is the '242 formula', which organizes your input into four key components: subject, setting, details, and accents. For example, a prompt like 'a futuristic cityscape, neon lights, flying cars, cyberpunk aesthetic' provides the AI with precise instructions, leaving little room for misinterpretation.
This technique is ideal for achieving uniformity across multiple outputs or when working on projects that require a high level of detail. By focusing on clear, descriptive language and avoiding vague terms, you can ensure that the AI delivers results that meet your exact specifications. Personalization Codes and Mood Boards: Customizing Outputs to Match Your Style
Personalization codes are a powerful feature that allows you to tailor the AI's outputs to your unique preferences. By ranking images and selecting preferred styles, you can train the AI to align with your aesthetic vision, making sure consistency across multiple projects. This customization capability is particularly useful for professionals who need to maintain a cohesive visual identity.
When combined with mood boards, personalization codes become even more effective. Mood boards act as visual references, reducing the need for overly detailed prompts and allowing you to focus on the overall style and tone. For example, a mood board featuring images with a specific color palette, texture, or composition can guide the AI to produce outputs that match your desired aesthetic.
Together, these tools streamline the creative process, allowing you to achieve cohesive and personalized results with minimal effort. Whether you're working on a single project or developing a series of visuals, personalization codes and mood boards provide the flexibility and control needed to bring your vision to life. Pro Tips for Optimizing Your Results
To maximize the potential of Midjourney 7, consider incorporating these additional strategies into your workflow: Keyword Placement: Experiment with the order and emphasis of keywords to influence the AI's focus on specific elements within your prompt.

Poker Face – Season 2 Episode 7 'One Last Job' Recap & Review

Episode 7 The Murder Episode 7 of Poker Face Season 2 begins in a SuperSave store where we are introduced to Kendall, an employee who is good friends with his boss, Bill. Bill has just read Kendall's latest action movie script titled One Last Job. He tells Kendall he really ought to go to LA and give his talent a real shot but Kendall says he isn't ready yet. Unfortunately, Bill has also been ordered to let some personnel go and he fires Kendall, hoping this will give him the push to pursue his dreams. However, Kendall isn't happy about this and, in his anger, even helps a shoplifter named Juice. As a thank you, Juice buys Kendall a few drinks. Kendall mentions the heist story in his script and how it's based on the SuperSave where he works. Juice thinks it's a great idea, not just as a script but for an actual heist. After all, Kendall needs money if he wants to go to Hollywood. Kendall is soon convinced. They make a plan to rob the store in the half hour between the cleaning crew's exit and the arrival of the armoured truck which transports the cash. They use a Polaroid photo to block the security camera in the vault room. Kendall then uses a UV light to see Bill's fingerprints on the vault's keypad (his fingerprints show up thanks to the canola oil on the crisps he likes to eat). While Kendall is trying different combinations, Juice hears a noise and goes to check it out. Inside the vault, Kendall finds a lot more than 200k and bags it all. He even keeps a part of it in his own employee locker. However, Kendall then finds himself face to face with none other than Bill. He's in pyjamas and seems to be sleeping here. He recognises Kendall even in the mask but before Kendall can explain, Juice shoots him dead. He says he'll take care of the body, leaving Kendall shocked. The Investigation We skip to a few days before the heist when Charlie is working for an Indian restaurant. She delivers food to Bill and the two flirt with each other. The night before his birthday (the day of the heist), Bill asks Charlie out for dinner. Jenny, Charlie's co-worker, is a rom-com fan and gives her some tips. On her advice, Charlie approaches Kendall and asks what Bill would like as a gift. He suggests she get something related to Bill's bike. Charlie turns up for the date and gifts Bill a guardian bell for his bike. Bill loves it! He takes her for dinner inside the SuperSave, where he's arranged a romantic dinner set up. He admits he's been living out of his office and the security cameras are on loop. He also shows Charlie a button that can call the cops in five minutes. The conversation moves to Kendall and Bill says he hopes getting fired will push Kendall to go to Hollywood. The two spend the night together and have a lovely time. At the end of the night, he tells Charlie he wants to see her again and she seems optimistic about it. However, when Charlie finally gets a call to deliver food at the SuperSave the next day, she finds the place swarming with cops who are investigating the break-in. A news reporter tells a camera that about $400,000 was stolen. Kendall, meanwhile, tries to get to his employee locker to get the money but he isn't allowed. Charlie looks through the store and eventually finds Bill's body, hidden in plain sight as a mannequin of Santa Claus. The cops believe this was a heist gone wrong but Charlie tries to explain that Bill loved this store and would never rob it. When they tell her about the Polaroid gimmick, taken from Mission: Impossible III, Charlie begins to suspect Kendall. Kendall goes back home only to be confronted by Juice, who watched the news and found out that there was more money in the safe and Kendall cheated him. They fight and Kendall ends up stabbing Juice with one of his collectible swords. That night, Charlie sneaks into the room with the employee lockers and breaks into Kendall's locker. She finds the bag of money and realises everything, only to see Kendall himself pointing a gun at her. He's leading her out of the store when she reveals she's pressed the button that calls the police. They are also interrupted by Juice, sword and all, who attacks both of them with a machine gun. A chase ensues in the store until Juice finally collapses. And just as Kendall is making it to the door, the police arrive and he puts his hands up. The Episode Review If you're a movie fanatic, you will probably love Poker Face Season 2 Episode 7. The episode is chock-full of movie references, not just in the dialogue or Kendall's obsession with heist movies but also through the details in the plot. Such as Charlie's use of TV screens to get the better of Juice, Kendall's final scene with the flying cash, and more. It's all incredibly well executed, in a polished way that ties into the story, and even with the right amount of tongue-in-cheek — Charlie boldly proclaims they aren't in an action movie just before Juice makes his grand machine gun entry. As a result of the focus on movies and references, though, we don't get as much insight into Kendall as a person, the way we generally do with other characters who open the episode. We also don't see much of Charlie's lie detection here. Although it was pretty nice to see her play her part in a rom-com for a little bit, there! On the whole, though, if you aren't that familiar with these easter eggs and references, the episode could feel a tad lacklustre. Delta passenger's viral video ignites debate over how parents should handle screaming babies on planes

A Delta passenger has sparked a viral debate about an age-old traveling question: How do you handle a crying baby on a plane? A Barstool Sports contributor, Pat McAuliffe, shared a video on X on Saturday of himself sitting on a plane, while a baby could be heard crying off-camera. He went on to roll his eyes and stare blankly at the camera, visibly annoyed by the screaming baby on his flight. In the caption, McAuliffe shared his candid thoughts about how the parents should have soothed the baby. 'If your child is screaming on a flight (that's late with no AC and hasn't taken off yet @Delta) show it a f***ing phone,' he wrote in his post, which has more than 15 million views. 'Brain rot the baby on TikTok until it's quiet. Is that too much to ask?' In a follow-up video of himself on the flight, as the baby was still crying, McAuliffe clarified his initial comments about how parents care for their babies on a plane. 'I do feel bad for the parents but at some point you gotta try something new. Walk his ass up and down the aisle, distract him, do something. It's still going on. Simply praying it'll stop is not acceptable,' he added. He then questioned at what point the baby's screaming 'becomes a medical emergency,' since the child was 'crying for two hours.' 'Also why are these people not at least talking to their kid to soothe him? STAND UP AND WALK HIM AROUND,' McAuliffe concluded. Many people, including parents, criticized McAuliffe's harsh response to the crying child. 'As a parent of three, shut the f*** up and put your headphones and enjoy the flight. That parents is in absolute hell,' one wrote. 'Is it too much to ask to buy proper noise-cancelling headphones..?' another added. 'I can guarantee you that the parent is stressing out way more than you flying by yourself with ear buds in. Grow up,' a third responded. Others went on to urge McAuliffe to react to the situation differently, with one writing: 'Bro, if this is the worst thing in your life, consider yourself lucky. Man up and see if the mom is okay and if she needs anything. She is probably trying her best.' However, some people instead claimed the parents on the flight should have soothed their crying baby on the flight. They also shared some of the bad experiences they've had with loud babies on a plane. 'I agree. This is the parents' fault. I have two and we can entertain our babies on the plane,' one responded. 'If the babies cry you are failing as a parent. Plain and simple. Get creative.' 'This happened to us, and while I'm fine with crying babies, it went on for three hours with the parents doing nothing, seemingly immune to their baby's screams,' another wrote. 'A responsible parent would consult a pediatrician before the flight for tips on making a baby comfortable with flying.' 'It's awful. This just happened to us recently. Sat in business, the flight was pretty empty,' a third wrote. 'No one behind or in front of us. Suddenly, flight attendants placed a family with two wild kids right behind us. Screaming, crying, kicking, and slapping the trays non-stop. Absolute torture.' Last year, a mother named Jess also sparked a debate when she shared a video of her baby crying on a three-hour plane. She admitted she became 'progressively more and more defeated' on the journey. However, she wanted to share the video to let other mothers know it's not their fault if they can't stop their baby from crying for long periods of time. Spaulding's post quickly sparked debate on TikTok, with commenters divided between users who said the situation was their 'nightmare as a passenger' and others who empathized with the mother.
