Demi Lovato shocks fans as she reunites with ex boyfriend Joe Jonas… and her husband approves
The 32-year-old singer made a surprise cameo as Joe, 35, performed with his brothers Kevin, 37, and Nick, 32, as the musical trio kicked off their 20th anniversary tour in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium.
The brothers - who on Thursday came out with Greetings From Your Hometown, their seventh studio album - played the song Gotta Find You and from the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock.
Lovato emerged to huge applause and joined the brothers on the tracks Wouldn't Change a Thing and This Is Me, 17 years after Camp Rock's June 2008 debut and about 15 after its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam hit the air.
Lovato subsequently took to Instagram to advertise her unlikely collaboration with her ex, saying that they made musical 'history' with the outing, some 15 years after they dated in 2010.
She captioned a reel of the pair together, 'For the history books,' tagging into the post her ex Joe, who went on to have two daughters with ex-wife Sophie Turner, 29 - Willa, four, and Delphine, two.
The Cool for the Summer songstress since May has been married to musician Jordan Lutes, 34, who she was seen passionately kissing in an elevator in an Instagram Stories pic posted late Sunday.
Lutes did not mind seeing his wife reunite with her ex-boyfriend onstage, as he showed support for his spouse via multiple Instagram posts.
In the thread of the comment section adjacent to Lovato's reel, Lutes posted three hysterical emojis and four emojis of clapping hands, signaling his love for Lovato amid the high-profile outing.
Lutes also took to Instagram Stories to say that he 'couldn't be more proud' of his spouse.
Lutes captioned a clip of his wife heading to the stage to perform: 'I love you soooo much baby.'
Another Camp Rock star on hand at the concert Sunday was Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who portrayed the character Ella in the two movies.
Perez de Tagle joined Franklin Jonas to host a Samsung TV Plus livestream of Sunday's proceedings.
Franklin, 24, joined his older siblings onstage, along with their parents, to finish the two-and-a-half hour show with the 2007 track When You Look Me In the Eyes.
The musical trio appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday, where they said fans could expect a mix of solo and group tracks on the tour setlist.
'There's so much music to play,' said Kevin. 'The setlist is hard to build, right?
'But at the same time it's so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other's work at the same time.'

Netflix fans in tears at 'heartbreaking' film based on true story
Netflix fans broke down in tears at a 'heartbreaking and messy' film based on a true story with an all-star cast. The Iron Claw, directed and written by Sean Durkin, was released back in 2023, but is about to find a new audience on the popular streaming service. Viewers will be able to watch the sports movie on Netflix from August 9, 2025. The blockbuster is based on the lives of the Von Erich brothers and their careers as wrestlers, under the training of their dad. 'The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s,' IMDb's synopsis reads. It stars the likes of Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich, Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harrison Dickinson as David Von Erich, and Maura Tierney as Doris Von Erich. Stanley Simons plays Mike Von Erich, Michael J Harney is Bill Merce, Holt McCallany plays Jack Von Erich and Lily James as Pam Adkisson. Many have rushed to share their rave reviews about the film. Rolling Stone's David Fear said: 'It's a messy movie about messy lives, occasionally in ways you wish it wasn't. But The Iron Claw is also a story of redemption… That's partially why Efron's performance is the one that sticks with you.' Meanwhile Screen Rant's Mae Abdulbaki added: 'Zac Efron really gives it his all in this heartbreaking wrestling film about the Von Erich family. The biopic details the complexity of the family.' 'As a wrenching American heartland saga, The Iron Claw is certainly compelling, and to anyone unfamiliar with the Von Erichs' history, each jolt of fresh anguish delivered to the family will be startling,' The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney wrote. The Irish Times' Tara Brady said: 'The Iron Claw looks and feels like a pre-streaming TV movie – and not just any old TV movie but a strangely entertaining, darkly tragic, completely gripping TV movie.' Others have rushed online to other websites to give their thoughts. The movie has got a whopping 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. One said on the critic site: 'A tragic story, told impeccably well. More wrestling biopics please!' 'Didn't think this would be one of the best films I've seen, really surprised me... No popcorn needed! Maybe just tissues.' 'An absolutely fantastic film that had to be dialed down to make it believable. 'Tragic family story that was worse in real life but too unbelievable to put all in the movie.' 'Phenomenal movie. Amazing performances from the actors. I've lost people close to me so I really felt this one. Truly beautiful movie.' 'Wow. Incredible acting from all performers. It's more about family, masculinity, grief, loss, and mental health than wrestling. One of the best movies I've seen in years actually. 'Tragic, true story, heartbreaker of a film.' 'Ultimately, heart wrenching.' High School Musical legend Zac previously opened up about the work he had to put into his physique ahead of filming with Deadline. The actor said: 'Nothing could prepare me for the wrestling. The physical preparation and the training, that's something that I've always found very interesting. 'I've always admired people's transformations, in particular for movie roles. I just find that dedication fascinating and special when I see it. 'So in training for this, I got to train essentially for my championship, my belt match. It all came down to, how precise is my training? How dedicated am I to this? How hard can I push?

Jennifer Aniston gets vulnerable as she talks gate-crashing stalker, her dating life and Matthew Perry's death
Jennifer Aniston offered a rare, unguarded look into her private life while reflecting on everything from bizarre dating rumors and a frightening stalking incident to the grief of losing longtime friend Matthew Perry. During her vulnerable interview with Vanity Fair, the Friends star, 56, confessed she often wrestles with 'what to and not to share,' calling social media 'a constant struggle.' Since her split from ex-husband Justin Theroux in 2018, Aniston hasn't been publicly linked to any confirmed love interests and rarely talks about her love life to the media. Her friend Jason Bateman, when asked if he's ever played matchmaker for her, admitted to the outlet that he hasn't. 'It's not surprising to me that she's not some serial dater, not because she's overly picky or snobby,' he said. 'You don't need to be some superhero to grab her attention. If you are comfortable in your skin, she gravitates to you. The challenge is for a guy to see past her fame and charisma and presence and beauty—to not be distracted by that—and tune into the stuff at the deep core.' Earlier this year, headlines linked her to The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal after they were photographed outside a West Hollywood restaurant and even to former President Barack Obama, for reasons no one seems quite sure of. The rumor spread so far and wide that Emmy winner even addressed it on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jennifer Aniston offered a rare, unguarded look into her private life while reflecting on everything from bizarre dating rumors to the grief of losing longtime friend Matthew Perry 'Of all the calls you get from your publicist…and then it's that,' she said with a laugh as Kimmel showed her the cover of In Touch, which read 'The Truth About Jen & Barack!' The actress, who insists she knows Michelle Obama better than her husband, recalled dining with the former First Lady just a month prior. During their night out, the actress insisted the subject never came up. 'I don't think anyone really pays attention to reports like that if you're the subject of them,' she mused. Sandra Bullock, a close friend, admits the two have tried to trace the origins of such outlandish stories. 'We try to figure out the genesis of where some of these stories come from…but 75 percent of the time, we just cannot. They're literally pulled out of the ether,' the Oscar winner explained. Still, Bullock confessed she understands the fascination with her pal. 'She's so beloved that you go, "I want that person to have their person" even if that person doesn't want a person,' the mother-of-two told the publication. While her rep declined to comment to Vanity Fair about the dating rumors, Aniston follows Curtis on social media, has liked his posts and in May shared a photo of his book More recently, Aniston has been linked to wellness guru and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, with reports claiming the two vacationed in Mallorca and Big Sur over the summer. She had previously told Travel + Leisure she tried hypnosis to conquer her fear of flying. While her rep declined to comment to Vanity Fair about the dating rumors, Aniston follows Curtis on social media, has liked his posts and in May shared a photo of his book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness. Within days of paparazzi shots from the Mallorca trip, also attended by Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka, Curtis's name was splashed across thousands of online stories. Aniston's boundaries were tested again this May when a man, 48, from Mississippi allegedly crashed his car into her gate. Prosecutors say he had been sending her emails, voicemails, and social media messages for some time. Security detained him until police arrived. He has pleaded not guilty to felony stalking and felony vandalism, and at press time was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial. 'People are out of their minds,' Aniston said. 'Who wants to put that energy out there.' Her security detail, she adds, is 'not glamorous in any way. It's a necessity.' Bullock, who endured her own terrifying stalker incident in 2014, stressed those experiences create a fortress mentality. 'It makes me think, "Do I really have to go outside and navigate the world?" … It's ongoing. It's not a one-off.' For both actresses, fears once extended to flying. 'The two of us on a plane, it's the most pathetic thing to look at,' Bullock joked. But during one difficult spring break trip, Aniston put her own fear aside to comfort Bullock. 'She just held onto my hand and goes, "This is just a bump" … I was like, "Who the fuck are you right now?"' she recalled. Aniston says hypnotherapy and calming apps have helped her in the air, but her empathy for others can override her own fear. 'When there's someone in need of being calmed, I have such empathy for it that all of a sudden my fear goes out the window,' the star noted. While reflecting on her career, Aniston says, 'What helped raise me is something I got to put into the world and help other people. If [Friends] was the only thing on my résumé, I would be very happy and blessed.' The 2021 Friends reunion, she added, served as a final curtain call for the six cast members. In 2023, that tight-knit group suffered a devastating loss when Matthew Perry died from 'the acute effects' of ketamine, with drowning a contributing factor. 'We did everything we could when we could,' Aniston said of efforts to help Perry through his long battle with addiction. She continued: 'But it almost felt like we'd been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight. As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there's a part of me that thinks this is better. I'm glad he's out of that pain.'
