Kamari Ramsey, Makai Lemon, Elijah Paige to represent USC at 2025 Big Ten media days

USA Today3 days ago
Believe it or not, the start of the 2025 college football season is right around the corner. We are just three weeks away from this year's Big Ten football media days, which signify the unofficial start of the year.
On Monday, the conference announced the player representatives for all 18 schools who will be in attendance at the event. Representing USC this year will be redshirt junior safety Kamari Ramsey, junior wide receiver Makai Lemon, and redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Elijah Paige, along with head coach Lincoln Riley.
Ramsey also represented USC at Big Ten Media Days last year. After transferring in from crosstown rival UCLA last season alongside defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn ahead of last season, he finished the 2024 campaign with 60 tackles, five passes defended, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception.
Lemon is coming off a sophomore season in which he led the Trojans in both receptions (52) and receiving yards (764). Now as a junior in 2025, he will look to establish himself as one of the top wide receivers in the country.
Paige is entering his second season as a starter on USC's offensive line. Last year, he was named a freshman All-American by the FWAA.
This year's Big Ten football media days will take place from July 22-24 in Las Vegas. USC's representatives are scheduled to speak on day three of the event.

Lincoln Riley's Cryptic Six-Word Reaction to Future of USC, Notre Dame Rivalry Debate

Lincoln Riley's Cryptic Six-Word Reaction to Future of USC, Notre Dame Rivalry Debate originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The long-standing rivalry between college football powerhouses USC and Notre Dame is tenuously hanging on for dear life in recent weeks. Both schools have expressed varying interest in continuing the rivalry which dates back to 1926, nearly 100 years; however, there's been little forward progress on solidifying an upcoming schedule. Advertisement The Trojans and Fighting Irish will compete for the Jeweled Shillelagh, the trophy given to the winner every year, on Oct. 18. However, there is nothing on tap between the two schools in 2026 and beyond. USC head coach Lincoln Riley was asked for comment about the rivalry by On3's Pete Nakos and the 41-year-old coach's empty response only adds to the mystery. "We will at the appropriate time," said Riley when pushed for a statement. USC associate athletic director Cody Worsham pushed the narrative that the Trojans want the rivalry to continue in an article from college football insider Pat Forde. Advertisement 'We want the USC–Notre Dame rivalry to continue, which is why we offered an extension of our agreement,' said Worsham. 'It's a special game to our fans and our institution. We will continue to work with Notre Dame on scheduling future games.' A week ago, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman was more plainspoken in responding for comment about the rivalry. 'It's a great rivalry for all of college football,' Freeman said. 'If it was up to me, we would play them every single year for the rest of college football time.' Advertisement Notre Dame leads the all-time series 50-37-5. The Irish have won six of the last seven matchups against USC. No. 1 Recruiting Class Gets Major 4th of July News

No. 1 Recruiting Class Gets Major 4th of July News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The USC Trojans already have the No. 1 recruiting class for the 2026 cycle. With 31 commitments, 10 of which appear in On3's top 100 player rankings, coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans are hitting on all cylinders. Advertisement On Friday, that top class got a whole better with a pledge from four-star wide receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster. The DeSoto, Texas, native delivered 57 receptions for 824 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. With more than 50 offers from competing programs, Feaster chose the Trojans over LSU, Texas A&M, Miami and Alabama, where he also took official visits over the last two months. In detailing why USC would be his destination, Feaster spoke on the offense and how he believes he will find success with the Trojans. 'With USC, you know they will have a great quarterback throwing their receivers the call with Lincoln Riley as the head coach,' said Feaster. 'I love the coaching staff, I love the city around it, I love L.A., and it's a great place to be in. And Coach Simmons, that's my guy.' Advertisement DeSoto receiver Ethan 'Boobie' Feaster.© Angela Piazza/Caller-Times / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images In February, Feaster accelerated his college entry by reclassifying to the Class of 2026. With Feaster, four-stars Trent Mosley, Luc Weaver and Roderick Tezeno, and three-star Ja'Myron Baker, the Trojans now have five receiver commitments in this class. Passing the ball wasn't the issue last season at USC, as the team finished 10th in passing yards by averaging 291.9 yards per game. The Trojans finished with a 145.3 rushing yards per game average, 82nd in the country. That imbalance led to the offense generating 30.2 points per game, ranking 50th. Oregon football way-too-early bold predictions for 2025 season

The post Oregon football way-too-early bold predictions for 2025 season appeared first on ClutchPoints. Oregon football will have every Big Ten team gunning for the Ducks this fall. Including the defending national champion Ohio State. Advertisement The Ducks stood alone as the conference champion. All after officially joining the Big Ten last season. Oregon will attempt to dethrone OSU. But 17 conference foes want to snatch the top of the conference. Oregon walks into a much-hyped 2025 campaign. Featuring a loaded defense and a prized former five-star set to take over for Dillon Gabriel. The Ducks are even energizing fans with their recruiting results for the 2026 class. Including landing the prized nephew of the late Kobe Bryant, safety Jett Washington. Will this lead into a long-awaited national championship crown coming back to Eugene? Time to sort through the way-too-early predictions for the Ducks. Advertisement Dante Moore will become better than Dillon Gabriel Ben Lonergan/The Register-Guard / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images That's not hyperbole. Moore possesses more intriguing skills than his predecessor. And Gabriel established himself as a Heisman Trophy finalist in Eugene. Like Gabriel, Moore is another prized transfer. Though he came from Big Ten rival and former Pac-12 foe UCLA. The former five-star watched and learned from the decorated Gabriel. Oregon will unleash Moore. Offensive coordinator Will Stein will orchestrate mismatches using Moore's strong arm and athleticism. Stein is additionally known for giving his QBs freedom — the freedom to adjust at the line of scrimmage based on defensive looks. Advertisement But Stein runs a zone read and RPO offense that emphasizes quick strikes. Tailored made already for Moore. He once drew comparisons to Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott out of high school. Moore brings potential to follow Gabriel, Bo Nix and Justin Herbert as the next best Ducks QB. Oregon will turn to prized freshman early Moore isn't the only intriguing new starter. Oregon landed a prized newcomer on the college football recruiting trail who likely won't stand on the sidelines much. Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore will shark his way up the roster and play. Oregon must find its Tez Johnson replacement right away. And Moore is perfect to fill that void. Advertisement He's described as a RAC (run after catch) demon in his scouting report by 247Sports. Moore originally appeared to be heading to LSU in 2023. Yet Dan Lanning and the Ducks coaching staff managed to pull off the massive flip on Fourth of July of last year. Now the Ducks will aim to create new offensive fireworks from the speedy Duncanville WR. Moore will attempt to go deep right away with the cat-quick wideout. This edge rusher will garner NFL hype Oregon gets blessed with more than one season of Moore and Moore at QB/WR, respectively. But one talented defender will garner NFL hype and eventually place his name into the 2026 ringer. Advertisement Matayo Uiagalelei plastered quarterbacks to the ground with 10.5 sacks. That production plastered his name onto NFL Draft boards. Uiagalelei will do more than win over teams with his pass rushing. He's big and versatile enough to line up in multiple defensive line spots. The powerful 6-foot-5, 270-pounder will command top 10 attention if he improves his run defense. But he brings the tools and versatility to draw NFL personnel in to Eugene this fall. Oregon will be in Big Ten title mix, but won't repeat The conference will take the Ducks more seriously this time around. That includes the other former Pac-12 teams that crossed over. Advertisement Oregon brings enough returning talent to stay in the mix for the conference title. But Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan are three anticipated to pursue a trip to Indianapolis for the Big Ten championship. USC is rising as a dark horse Big Ten contender following an aggressive offseason of changes. The Ducks jump to 4-0 before the Nittany Lions trip them up. Oregon rebounds the following week by hosting Indiana. The Nov. 22 home contest against USC will come with conference title game/college football playoff implications. Oregon's ceiling is 10-2, still good enough to earn a postseason bid. They just enter a more competitive Big Ten this time around for the fall.
