The offices of Capital Cars in Edinburgh were allegedly set alight in an early morning incident amid an ongoing wave of violence. 6 Cops stand guard at the entrance leading to Capital Cars in Gorgie Road. 6 Fire damage could be seen around a door frame at the Capital Cars unit. It's the second time the business has been targeted after two cars were damaged in May on the same day as another attack on a home linked to caged Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson. Hoods operating for a group known as Tamo Junto (TMJ) claimed responsibility for the earlier attack as part of a revenge campaign launched by Dubai-based mobster Ross 'Miami' McGill. We earlier told how the former Union Bears chief blames Richardson associates for ripping him off in a fake cash cocaine deal. Cops were this morning seen standing guard at the private hire firm in Gorgie Road as a probe was launched into the alleged 3am attack. Officers have taped off access to the unit and scorch marks could be seen around a damaged door frame. It's understood the fire failed to properly take hold and the building wasn't seriously damaged. Cops have this morning arrested two men aged 25 and 26 in connection with the incident. It's understood officers working under Operation Portaledge - the crackdown on the ongoing turf war - are involved in the ongoing investigation. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3am on Monday, August 18, we were made aware of a wilful fire at a premises in Gorgie Road, Edinburgh. "Emergency services attended, however the fire had not taken hold and there was no significant damage. "Two men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing." We told in May how two taxis at the same unit were destroyed on the same day as a property linked to Richardson's brother Dale Richardson was torched. The home in the Gracemount area of the city was damaged at around 9am - just hours after the taxi firm was hit. Scotland's two biggest cities have been in the grip of a gang war since March with cops having now made 57 arrests including the two suspects linked to this morning's incident. McGill's crew have been attacking associates of Richardson and his allies in Glasgow's notorious Daniel crime family. The latest incident comes days after members of Richardson's gang were caged for a total of 100 years over "out of control gangsterism". Michael Heeps, 34, and five other associates of the drug lord were convicted for a campaign of violence that included murder bids and torching jail guards' cars.
