THE funeral details for a 'deeply missed and forever loved' teenage girl killed in a Tipperary road crash have been confirmed. Bronagh English, 18, died after the car she was driving left the road at Kilaldry Bridge at Kilmoyler in Cahir and entered the River Aherlow. The Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident but the young woman, who was the only occupant of the car, was fatally injured in the crash. Her body was later recovered from the water by members of the Bronagh's family have now confirmed she will be laid to rest on Tuesday. READ MORE IN NEWS She is survived by her parents Michael and Danielle and siblings Mia, Mikey and David. Bronagh is the cherished granddaughter of Greta and Donie Ormonde and Carmel and her recently deceased husband John English. She is also he "much loved niece" of Edward, Sean, Peter, James, Philip, John, Claire, Niamh, Elizabeth, Gill, Sinead, Elaine, Norma, Stephan, Ger and Johnny. The young woman is also "deeply missed and forever loved" by her 21 first cousins, the rest of her relatives and her wide circle of friends. Most read in Irish News The funeral will take place on Tuesday April 29 at 12pm, in St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown, Clonmel, Co Tipperary. Announcing the funeral details her heartbroken family expressed their "immense sadness". They said: "It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bronagh, who was taken from us far too soon." 'KIND, VIBRANT, HAPPY' The young teenager was in her Posting on social media Rockwell College said: "The Rockwell College community mourns the loss of our 6th Year student, Bronagh English. "Bronagh was a kind, vibrant, happy, and talented student and friend who will be dearly missed and remembered with great love. "We ask you to please keep Bronagh's parents, siblings, wider family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace." MARK OF RESPECT The local Moyle Rovers Ladies Football said they were "very shocked and deeply saddened" by Bronagh's tragic passing. In a statement they said: ""Bronagh played with our club for a short while at a young age. "Her sister Mia is a current player, her brothers play with the Moyle Rovers club and her family have been great supporters over many years. "As we mourn the very sad passing of a talented young life and former player our sympathies go out to Bronagh's family and we will do all we can to help and support them in whatever way we can." They continued: "As a mark of our respect all Ladies Football activities in Monroe are suspended for the weekend. "The Tipp LGFA Feile will not be played in Monroe as was scheduled for Sunday and our U15 girls have respectfully withdrawn from the competition. "Tomorrow's U14 League Semi Final has also been postponed. Sunday's Senior League Semi Final has been postponed." Damian Johnston of Chairperson of Tipperary LGFA added: "On behalf of Tipperary LGFA, I wish to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bronagh. "Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and also with the wider community of Moyle Rovers LGFA, GAA and Camogie clubs and all that knew Bronagh." 'A FABULOUS GIRL' And tributes have flooded in from the wider community following Bronagh's tragic passing. One mourner said: "Bronagh was a fabulous girl, any time spent with her was an absolute pleasure." Another said: "A beautiful young girl taken far too soon for anyone to comprehend." One person added: "Bronagh always had a bright smile and always looked out for others." And another said: "She was the kindest girl with the biggest smile. School pays tribute to 'kind' Leaving Cert student who died after car entered river in Co Tipperary

TRIBUTES HAVE BEEN paid to Bronagh English, the Leaving Cert student who died after the car she was driving entered the water in Co Tipperary on Thursday night. The 18-year-old was fatally injured in the incident, which occurred at Kilmoyler in Cahir. Gardaí said that some time after 10pm on Thursday, a car left the road at Kilaldry Bridge and entered the River Aherlow. Bronagh's body was recovered from the water on Friday morning by members of the Garda Water Unit. A post mortem examination is due to take place. Rockwell College in Cashel, where Bronagh went to school, has paid tribute to the sixth year student in a statement on social media. 'We are all very shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the death of Brónagh English in a car accident last night,' the club said in a statement. Moyle Rovers said Bronagh played for the club for a short time at a young age, adding that her siblings have also been players and her family have been 'great supporters over many years'. 'As we mourn the very sad passing of a talented young life and former player our sympathies go out to Brónagh's family and we will do all we can to help and support them in whatever way we can,' it continued. Speaking on RTÉ Radio yesterday, Fine Gael councillor John Fitzgerald, who knew Bronagh, described her loss as 'a terrible tragedy'. He said the teenager was 'a beautiful girl, a wonderful person, a really good person'. 'I knew her well,' he said, sounding audibly distraught. 'My family and all the community here in Clonmel are in shock, absolute shock. Despair, really, that's the only way to describe it'. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or been in the Kilmoyler to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the L3101 or in the Kilmoyler area between 10pm and midnight last night are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí. There were a number of fatal road traffic collisions across the island in the space of 24 hours. A woman in her 50s died after the car she was driving collided with a truck on the main N25 road near Gaulstown in Glenmore, Co Kilkenny yesterday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been taken to the mortuary where a post mortem examination is due to take place. Separately, a woman in her 60s died following a collision involving a lorry and two cars on the Portaferry Road in Newtownards, Co Down. Police in Northern Ireland said the woman, who was a passenger in one of the cars, had died at the scene. One person seriously injured following two-car collision in Kerry

One person has been seriously injured in a collision in Kerry. The two-car collision occurred on the N21 at Ballymacthomas on the Castleisland road at around 5pm on Friday. The road has been closed and local diversions are in place. A Garda spokesman said that a number of people have been injured in the incident, including one who has been seriously injured. The incident comes as there have been two fatalities on Irish roads since Thursday night. Tributes are being paid to a Leaving Cert student who died after the car she was driving hit a wall and entered a river in Co Tipperary on Thursday night. The incident happened sometime between 10 pm and midnight at Kilaldry Bridge in the townland of Kilmoyler, Co Tipperary. Advertisement The victim has been named locally as 18-year-old Bronagh English. Gardaí along with a sub-aqua team and Tipperary Fire and Rescue, were alerted after the student failed to return to her home in Clonmel. It is understood the car hit a low wall and was flipped into the Aherlow river. The Ford Fiesta was discovered in the river in the early hours of the morning. A Garda sub aqua team located the 18-year-old, and her body was recovered from the river at about 5 am. Advertisement She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her body was taken to Tipperary University Hospital (TUH) where a postmortem will be carried out. Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Fine Gael councillor Declan Burgess said the fatal crash was 'incredibly sad news'. 'The locality is stunned at the news. Our thoughts and sympathies are with the girl's family as she passed away so tragically. The emergency services have also to be thanked for their help.' Clonmel-based Fine Gael councillor John Fitzgerald added that he knows the student's family 'well' and that the young girl was a 'beautiful and highly respected person' from the area. The L3101 from the Lady Gregory Pub on the N24 Cahir – Bansha Road to Kilmoyler was closed for several hours to allow for a technical examination by gardaí. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses close to the area to contact them at Cahir Garda station on 052-7445630.
