Defending champions Kingussie moved a point off the top of the Mowi Premiership with a 3-0 home win over local rivals Newtonmore in both sides' game in hand.Kinlochshiel took a step towards safety when they edged visitors Kyles 3-2. Skye overwhelmed bottom side Beauly 4-0 at Braeview. In an astonishing game, relegation-threatened Lovat went 3-0 up on Caberfeidh before the home side stormed back to win 6-3.Savio Genini scored in each half for Kingussie before Toby Thain's stoppage-time strike. The two sides meet again in Inverness in the Tulloch Camanachd Cup final on 20 September.Kinlochshiel took a 2-0 half time lead through Kieran Martin and Keith MacRae, but Liam Arnott and Roddy MacDonald brought Kyles level before Archie MacRae's winner for Shiel.Beauly held out almost until half-time when Skye's Ross Gordon broke the deadlock. Ruairidh MacLeod then settled the issue with a second half hat trick.Greg Matheson and James MacPherson both scored for Lovat in the first two minutes and Matheson's second just before half time appeared to have them on easy street. However, an astonishing four goals in six minutes, all from Blair Morrison, suddenly put Cabers in front, and Lovat's collapse continued late on when they conceded to Logan Beaton and to Morrison for the fifth time. This leaves Lovat, in the second relegation place, still two points behind Kyles who have a game in hand, and in continuing danger of joining neighbours and rivals Beauly in the drop.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace live: Eze set to start amid transfer links as hosts eye Premier League title charge

Chelsea kick off a Premier League campaign in which they may have aspirations of a title challenge as Crystal Palace make the short trip across London on the opening weekend. Enzo Maresca and his squad enjoyed a successful start to the summer, winning an expanded Club World Cup and making a number of intriguing signings to bolster a team that tailed off a little in the Italian's first year in charge. Can they sustain a title tilt this time around or will the extra rigours of their American campaign show? Certainly there is no shortage of forward talent at their manager's disposal with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both brought through the door. It's been a strange summer for Crystal Palace, meanwhile, with the unadulterated joy of FA Cup triumph followed by the strange feelings caused by their demotion out of the Europa League. A continental adventure may still be on the way but Oliver Glasner will first be focussed on a strong start domestically amid speculation that some of the key members of his squad could be seeking pastures new. Eberechi Eze is nearing a move to Tottenham, it seems, but may feature. Chelsea vs Crystal Palace live A busy opening weekend of Premier League action continues with a London derby, Crystal Palace making the short trip across the city to Stamford Bridge to meet a Chelsea side harbouring title hopes after Club World Cup success. We've just got to believe in ourselves going into every game because it's going be tough."We've got the past two years of that unity we have as a team and [we must] take it into the Premier League."It is going to be tough and it's going to be be a challenge, but it's one we're all excited for."Fresh from signing a new contract with the club on Thursday, James will be hoping he can use his form from last term and Premier League experience to help the side this time."We want to establish ourselves as a Premier League team," he added."I want to contribute to the team as much as I can.
