The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 has been generating a significant buzz on the internet ever since its announcement. The shooting for the upcoming season has finally kicked off and will start streaming on the OTT giant Netflix. As fans await to see Kapil Sharma and his team tickle their funny bones, the makers have now shot a new episode with Indian cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, Abhishek Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Several behind-the-scenes pictures of the cricketers along with Navjot Singh Sidhu, who will be replacing Archana Puran Singh for the episode, are currently surfacing online. Going by the pictures, the episode is expected to have a combination of laughter, pleasant memories, and entertaining stories from the dressing room with Rishabh's wit, Yuzvendra's playful humour, and Gautam's cutting comebacks.

Notably, Archana Puran Singh is currently enjoying her vacation in Switzerland therefore, Navjot has been called in as her replacement for an episode.
Recently, the entire team shot for the pilot episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show 3 with the cast of Metro…In Dino, including Anupam Kher, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma and Ali Fazal.
Netflix has confirmed that the third season will premiere on Netflix starting on June 21 and will mark Kapil's comeback with his trusted co-stars—Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek and Archana Puran Singh. Among them, we might also see some new faces joining this season.
In the past two seasons, several cricketers have taken the comedy couch, sharing hilarious moments with viewers. In Season 1, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer appeared on the show. After India's thrilling win at the 2024 T20 World Cup, Rohit returned for Season 2, joined by Suryakumar Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, and Axar Patel.
Further details about the next guests on the show are yet to be revealed by the makers.
Apart from the comedy show, Kapil Sharma will also be seen in Riddhima Kapoor's debut film, tentatively titled DKS. It will also be released on Netflix and will feature Neetu Kapoor in a significant role.

WASHINGTON — Gray skies and drizzle gave way to sunshine, multicolored flags and celebrations as the nation's capital held the World Pride parade Saturday. Tens of thousands of people participated in parades and other festivities, in defiance of what activists say is an unprecedented assault on the LGBTQ community that challenges the rights many have fought for over the years. A rainbow flag the length of three football fields flowed through the streets, carried by 500 members of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, D.C., to kick off the parade. Behind them, people waved Pride flags and flags representing the transgender, asexual and bisexual communities from atop a bus. Singer-songwriter and actor Reneé Rapp laughed and blew kisses from the back of a pickup truck draped with a transgender flag while Laverne Cox, a transgender actress and activist known for her role in Netflix's 'Orange is the New Black,' waved from an open convertible. 'Pride means us looking out for each other no matter what,' she declared to the crowd as the convertible rolled to a stop. 'We know how to be there for each other.' Many LGBTQ travelers have expressed concerns or decided to skip World Pride due to anxieties about safety, border policies and a hostile political climate that they say hearkens back to another time. But that did not keep international travelers and other participants away, with groups visible from Iran, Namibia, Kenya and Russia. Along the parade route, hundreds gathered outside the National City Christian Church as rainbow flags and balloons lined its steps and columns. 'It's the perfect time to have World Pride in D.C.,' Begler said. 'We need it right now. I want us to send a message to the White House to focus on uplifting each other instead of dividing.' Stay DeRoux, 36, usually plans a day trip to D.C. Pride from her home in Fredericksburg, Virginia. But this year, she and her wife, Deenie DeRoux, planned a full weekend. ''This is a really big year,' Stay DeRoux said. 'There's been a lot of turmoil. So it's an amazing thing to be among allies, among people who love because we've experienced so much hate on a daily basis.' India's highest-paid OTT actor earned ₹125 crore for 7 episodes, more than Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan's salary
Streaming platforms are undeniably reshaping the definition of stardom. Gone are the days when people thought OTT was for unconventional actors. In fact, this A-list Bollywood actor has broken all boundaries, outshining Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Earning a staggering ₹ 125 crore for a single show, he's the highest-paid actor on OTT with a net worth of ₹ 427 crore (approximately $50 million USD), as per multiple reports. Ajay became the highest-paid OTT actor in 2021 when he signed for the Hindi adaptation of the hit British series, Luther, Rudra: Edge of Darkness. Starring as the cop with a dark history, he reportedly charged more than ₹ 100 crore for the seven-episode show. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, Ajay was paid almost ₹ 18 crore per episode of the show. In total, he took home ₹ 125 crore and became the highest-paid actor in Indian entertainment history.
