Woman threatens to 'kill everyone' after crashing stolen car as she is arrested by police
A woman has been caught on camera threatening to kill people after allegedly going on a rampage behind the wheel of a stolen car in Adelaide. Police were called to Bonython Park, in the north-west Park Lands of the city, about 8.15am on Thursday following reports of a woman causing a disturbance. The 32-year-old woman from Vale Park is accused of stealing tools from a truck, damaging another car's windscreen and then stealing it Witnesses said the carjacker was armed with a metal rake and had tried to steal an excavator before taking the stolen Hyuadni on a rampage. She then drove the vehicle across the grass at Bonython Park before crashing it into a bollard and damaging an electrical box. When police arrived at the scene, the Vale Park woman lashed out as officers arrested her. In footage captured by 7News, the 32-year-old woman appeared to address the camera crew before dishing out a chilling warning. 'Aye, what's up. How you doing bro?' she said. As officers led the woman into the back of a police van, she said: 'I'm going to kill everyone in that f***ing jail, including all of these cops.' The woman continued to threaten the officers while refusing to cooperate. 'I'm going to kill of them, including the cops,' she said again as the officers picked up her legs and pushed her into the van. The woman looked at the camera and claimed it was 'showing aggressiveness'. She was charged with disorderly behaviour, theft, illegal interference, illegal use and property damage. The owner of the Hyuandi said he had been feeding birds at the park when the carjacking took place. Police confirmed the 32-year-old woman was bailed and is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 30. The Hyuandi was examined at the scene before being towed away.
