Sinner re-hires former fitness coach Ferrera
Wimbledon champion Sinner was initially cleared by an independent tribunal of any wrongdoing last August but the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) appealed against the panel's ruling that he "bore no fault or negligence".Sinner ultimately accepted a three-month ban in February after reaching a settlement with Wada. Wada said it accepted the four-time Grand Slam champion did not intend to cheat, but he bore responsibility for "the entourage's negligence".Sinner said the substance clostebol, which can increase muscle mass, entered his system when Naldi applied an over-the-counter spray to treat a cut on his hand.Ferrara says he provided the spray to Naldi for personal use and warned him not to use it on Sinner. After the departures of Ferrara and Naldi, Sinner appointed fitness coach Marco Panichi and physiotherapist Ulises Badio in September 2004.However, he parted ways with the pair shortly before this year's Wimbledon.Sinner made his return to tennis at the Italian Open in May.He lost the French Open final to Carlos Alcaraz in a five-set thriller in June, before beating the Spaniard in the Wimbledon final earlier this month to win his fourth Grand Slam.

Tour de France: Jonathan Milan wins stage 17 after crash-strewn sprint
Italy's Jonathan Milan claimed his second victory in this year's Tour de France when he won a crash-disrupted sprint in the 17th stage on Wednesday. Milan prevailed in a 10-man sprint after the peloton was held up behind a massive crash with just one kilometre to go, as riders went down on slippery roads in a rainy finish in Valence. Biniam Girmay was attended to by race doctors after a crash with 1km to go. Tadej Pogacar crossed the finish line safely to retain the overall leader's yellow jersey. France's Quentin Pacher and Mathieu Burgaudeau, as well as Jonas Abrahamsen of Norway and Italy's Vincenzo Albanese, broke away early but stood little chance against the collective power of the sprinters' teams. With the peloton breathing down their necks, Abrahamsen went solo with 11km remaining, only to be reined in 4.3km from the line. Milan was the strongest in the reduced sprint, edging out Jordi Meeus of Belgium and Denmark's Tobias Lund Andresen, who were second and third, respectively. Thursday's 18th stage is a brutal mountain trek between Vif and the Col de la Loze, one of the most feared ascents in the Tour. Jeremy Whittle's report will appear here later

Euro 2025 has been a wild ride. Are you enjoying the drama?
The end is in sight and so is the trophy. And, somehow, England still have their eyes on the prize. Euro 2025 has been a tournament of unlikely comebacks for Sarina Wiegman's team. They lost their opening game to France but rallied and made it through to the knockouts; they went 2-0 down to Sweden in the quarter-finals but came back to win a preposterous penalty shootout; and they looked beaten in their semi-final against Italy but somehow found an equaliser in the 96th minute and a winner in the 120th minute. The champions are not letting go of their trophy lightly. Have you been enjoying the drama? Whether you have watched matches in Switzerland, fan parks, pubs or on the edge of your sofa, we would love to hear from you. Is there a buzz of excitement about the final? Which teams have impressed you? Who will be crowned champions on Sunday? Does this tournament feel like a step up in quality from the previous Euros three years ago? Footballer whose only Premier League appearance came against Sir Alex Ferguson's Man Utd is still playing at 46
KEVIN ELLISON is proving age is nothing but a number by going around for another season at the age of 46! And he will clock up a remarkable 30 years as a player. 5 5 Having clocked up six minutes of Premier League action – as a Leicester substitute in a 3-0 loss at Manchester United in November 2001 – the striker is still going. Now after committing to another season at Northern Premier League West Division side Vauxhall Motors, he will complete a THIRD decade on the pitch. Making his senior debut way back in 1996 for Southport, he is approaching 1,000 appearances in all but one of the top eight tiers of the football pyramid. He is showing no signs of losing it after being Vauxhall's second highest appearance maker last season, scoring 15 goals in 44 games. And Ellison told BBC Radio Merseyside: 'I love it. What else am I going to do on a Saturday afternoon or a Tuesday night? 'I am grateful my body allows me to. I've got friends who retired early, I've got friends who packed in because their body was breaking down but lucky for me, my body still allows me to do something I love and long may it continue. 'There's a bit of luck. When you're a footballer you do get injuries and I'm fortunate enough that I've had no serious ones. 'But you've got to look after yourself and manage yourself away from the football club. 'I've noticed over the last couple of years when I have pushed myself thinking I'm still 21 I start to feel a few little things. I manage myself to make sure I'm right on a Saturday." Ellison made almost 400 appearances for Morecambe but had Football League stints at Stockport, Lincoln, Chester, Hull, Tranmere, Rotherham, Bradford and Newport. There is also that one top flight appearance for Leicester, when he replaced Dean Sturridge and faced the likes of Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville. Ellison is not the only former Premier League star still going in the NPL West. Ex- Hull City and Burnley ace George Boyd will turn out for Wythenshawe Town as he turns 40 in October.
