Everything You Need to Know About the Football Access Summit

This weekend, some of the biggest names in football and the sports industry will gather in Sheik Zayed's Zed Park as part of the Football Access Summit. From February 7th to the 8th, the event will connect goal-getters with industry professionals and influencers, with a focus on widening access to the world of football.
The summit will include presentations and panel discussions tackling subjects such as the Economics of Football, Sports Entertainment, Industry Trends and Diversity in Sport, and will feature football legends, former players from the national Egyptian team, industry leaders and FIFA representatives, including FIFA Chief of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger.
The event looks to be a gateway for those wanting to kick-off a career in football and the sports sector in general, offering networking opportunities, exclusive insights into the future of football in the region, and investment opportunities.

Reports: Mostafa Mohamed Move to Neom Hits Nantes Roadblock
Rana Atef It was reported on Monday that talks between FC Nantes and Saudi club Neom for the transfer of Egyptian striker Mustafa Mohamed have reportedly failed, according to Africafoot, amid disagreements over the financial terms of the deal. Despite advanced negotiations and Mohamed's approval, Nantes held firm on their $10 million demand plus a resale percentage. While Mohamed was keen on joining Neom, the Ligue 1 side's refusal to lower their valuation has stalled the transfer indefinitely. Earlier reports from Asharq Al-Awsat confirmed that the player had agreed in principle to the Saudi offer and that official negotiations had begun between the two clubs.
