A friendship built on silence, strength, and silliness: that's what ties BFFs and actors
and
together. 'If you can sit in silence without it feeling awkward, be each other's rock through the highs and lows, and be absolutely silly together, that's real friendship,' the duo tell Bangalore Times as they spend the day with us, laughing, reminiscing, and finishing each other's sentences…
'We're so alike… but also completely different'
Anupama and Krishi tell us that their bond wasn't built on effort.

It just happened through little coincidences. Identical coffee mugs, matching matcha cups, even the same clothes… 'It's weird. We somehow end up buying the same stuff every time!' laughs Krishi. But while their shopping carts might look the same, their personalities don't. 'She pretends to be all tough. Like she doesn't need care or love. But she does.
She'll never say it, but I know,' Krishi says, nudging Anupama, who fires back, 'Krishi loves having people around.
I love my space, but she drags me out.'
Other women and friendships have let us down. But this bond we share? This is the real thing

'We have big plans for the future... and whatever we do, we'll do it together'
From dreaming of opening a restaurant to launching a kombucha bar, these two are always cooking up new plans. 'We keep changing our minds. But whatever we do, we'll do it together. We are proof that female friendships can not only survive but thrive in this industry that's so often clouded by competition,' says Krishi.
'Our friendship is basic… but it's pure bliss'
And when they're hanging out, their time together is calm and uneventful. 'We don't need an agenda. We can sit silently, scroll on our phones, or cook. That's enough,' Krishi shrugs. Anupama agrees, 'We rant about our days, laugh, cry, and rewatch Friends over dinner.' They have a simple routine of grocery runs, gym sessions, flower shopping, and obsessing over plants, and they cherish that. 'It's a very basic, easy friendship.
And it's bliss,' Anupama smiles.
