The Kelce Brothers Get Divisive Over New Skyline Chili Flavored Ice Cream
Jason Kelce is all in. He's a fan of Skyline Chili, and he's genuinely curious about how its signature spices translate into a frozen dessert. For Jason, it's not just about the novelty -- it's a chance to celebrate a local favorite in a completely unexpected way. Travis Kelce, however, isn't convinced. He's hesitant about the idea of combining chili spices with the sweetness of ice cream, and doesn't seem eager to give it a try ... at all.
Their differing reactions have sparked plenty of conversation among fans, raising questions about whether this daring dessert is worth a scoop (like the well-received Kelce Brothers cereal mix). The first thing that comes to mind for folks may be something along the lines of: "We're fans of Skyline too! But ... really? In the ice cream?"
Here's what makes this ice cream so unique, and why it's dividing opinions, even within the Kelce family.

Skyline Spice ice cream takes the essence of Cincinnati's famous chili (known for its blend of sweet and savory spices as well as for being served with cheese, onions, and oyster crackers over spaghetti or hot dogs) and infuses it into a creamy dessert. This ice cream focuses on the spice mix, which includes cinnamon, nutmeg, and hints of cocoa. These flavors are blended into a sweet cream base, creating a dessert that's both familiar and surprising for fans of Skyline Chili. But that's not all. In addition to the unique spice mix, this ice cream is also studded with oyster crackers, which add a salty crunch to the creamy sweetness.
Graeter's Ice Cream, another Cincinnati staple, is no stranger to bold flavor experiments. Their collaboration with Skyline Chili aims to capture the city's culinary spirit in a way that's playful and nostalgic. For some, this ice cream is a love letter to Cincinnati, but others aren't feeling the ode to the Queen City.
The result is a flavor that challenges traditional dessert expectations. It's creamy, spiced, and sweet, with just enough of a chili kick to remind you of its roots. Whether or not you're a fan of Skyline chili, there's no doubt that what it might taste like has piqued your interest -- kudos to the marketing team over at Graeter's, they've got people talking for sure. I doubt it's going to become one of the most popular ice cream flavors in the U.S., but who knows?

Barstool's Dave Portnoy makes bold prediction about Chiefs as Travis Kelce re-enters media spotlight
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy made a bold prediction about the Kansas City Chiefs amid Travis Kelce's recent media showcases ahead of the 2025 regular season. Kelce and his brother dropped the news that Taylor Swift was going to be on their podcast. Following that, the Chiefs' star tight end did a spread with GQ Magazine. Portnoy wrote on social media that the Chiefs' so-called dynasty was "cooked." "All joking aside this media blitz from Travis Kelce confirms the Chiefs are cooked," he wrote on X. "As Marvin (Hagler) once said 'It's tough to get out of bed to do roadwork at 5am when you're sleeping in silk pajamas.' "Chiefs had a cute run but laughable to compare them to Patriots Mega Dynasty." Portnoy, who will be featured on FOX Sports' "Big Noon Kickoff" starting this college football season, is the latest to add his voice to those who believe the Chefs' dynastic run through the regular season and into the postseason was finished. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid responded to critics on Monday. "You understand because there were so many close games, but that's the National Football League, so I was proud of the guys and how they handled those [one-score games]," Reid said on "Up & Adams" when asked about the criticism the team has faced. "When it's all said and done, it's winning the game. We have winners, and they figured it out. I was proud of them for that. "We don't listen to all the noise. If you do that, you're gonna go crazy, and then you're not gonna have fun, right?" Kelce himself admitted in the GQ interview that some of the extracurricular activities that have come with his elevated level of fame have hampered him on the field. He was a big target of criticism early in the 2024 season for his lack of production. "I think it might have slipped a little bit because I did have a little bit more focus in trying to set myself up. And opportunities came up where I was excited to venture into a new world of acting and being an entertainer," he said. "I don't say this as 'I shouldn't have done it.' I'm just saying that my work ethic is such that I have so much pride in how I do things that I never want the product to tail off, and I feel like these past two years haven't been to my standard. "I just have such a motivation to show up this year for my guys."

Taylor Swift is driving everyone crazy (in the good way)
Taylor Swift People in entertainment Music MediaFacebookTweetLink Follow Musicians have long since figured out how to turn their album announcements into online frenzies. But it takes a different kind of superstar, and fanbase, to turn a release into a mystery treasure hunt. After a period of relative quiet, Taylor Swift appeared out of thin air to announce a new album, called 'The Life of a Showgirl.' Or she announced an announcement — she'll talk about the album first on her boyfriend's podcast later this week. This announcement arrived at the same time as a GQ profile of that boyfriend, Travis Kelce, making fans feel for the first time that they were really hearing from and seeing the couple, as a couple, directly. As a Swiftie, I can attest that we fans remain in a constant state of hunger for any dregs of connection, forced to search out breadcrumbs in her songs, music videos or even social posts that leave us spiraling (or 'clowning' as we like to say). The singer rarely does interviews and when she does they're in a much more formal setting — certainly more formal than on an often-meandering podcast with her boyfriend and his brother. This time? 'We're about to do a f*cking podcast!' Swift exclaimed in a preview for the episode of 'New Heights.' That podcast is expected to be released on August 13 at 7 p.m. ET. How excited are fans? One of my Swiftie friends even switched flights to ensure they're not 30,000 feet in the air when the podcast is released. Unable to wait a day to hear the podcast, eager fans have spent the hours since the announcement reviewing the hints that Swift appeared to sprinkle throughout her work in the past few years, pointing toward the album that fans took to calling 'TS12.' For at least a year, theorizing has revolved around the number 12 and the color orange. As always, the Swifties were right. On Monday morning a carousel of 12 photos was posted to Taylor Nation's Instagram with the caption, 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…'' All those photos feature Swift in orange outfits that she wore while on The Eras Tour. There was also the famous orange door of the Eras tour, featured on a screen on stage as she performed the last song of the show 'Karma' which left many fans frantic and theorizing. That same orange color was featured in the background of this weeks' teaser for the 'New Heights' episode. Prior to the announcement that Swift would be the special guest, many fans had already put the pieces together based on the background color, the silhouette and the fact it was posted along with Taylor Nation's Instagram post. And before all of that, there was the TikTok video that Swift shared in October before her show at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. Swift is seen walking near section A12 — for fans, that signaled to August 12, the announcement day. If you think that sounds conspiracy-minded, a countdown appeared on Swift's website to 12:12am Eastern on August 12, which is when the name of her 12th studio album was released. So if you have a Swiftie in your life, this is why they sound a little loopy, raving about random numbers and colors, as they put on every orange piece of clothing they could find. But tell us while you wait — what else have you noticed?
