Why Prince George Isn't Allowed to Fly With Family Now That He's 12

Cosmopolitan5 days ago
Prince George just turned 12, and his parents celebrated in the way they do every year: with an official photoshoot posted to Instagram!
Oh, and a cute video of George and his siblings frolicking around the countryside:
Anyway, now that George is 12 apparently there are going to be some major changes to his security. According to the Daily Mail, "his parents have been urged to take care to ensure the safety of the future king," which means George will likely start traveling apart from Prince William and Kate Middleton.
A former royal helicopter pilot notes that Prince William stopped traveling with his parents when he was 12, saying "Interestingly, we flew all four–the Prince, the Princess, Prince William and Prince Harry, up until Prince William was 12 years old. After that, he had to have a separate aircraft and we could only fly all four together when they were young with the written permission of Her Majesty. When William became 12, he would fly normally in a 125 from Northolt and we would fly the 146 out with the other three on."
As for why George (and William before him) has to fly separately, apparently it's to ensure the safety of the succession. A "friend of William and Catherine" confirmed that "William is a skilled pilot and loves flying but George must travel separately now," while a Kensington Palace spokesman simply said "we don't comment on travel."
Either way, the issue has been a source of disagreement between Prince William and his father. Per royal author Robert Jobson, "One recent source of disagreement is William's stubborn refusal to take his father's advice on safeguarding the succession. Earlier this year, the King had raised concerns with his son about the wisdom of William using his helicopter to fly his entire family around the country."

Hulk Hogan's son, Nick, speaks out on father's death: ‘Would do anything to have him back'

Hulk Hogan's son, Nick, penned an emotional tribute to the wrestling icon, his 'hero' and his 'best friend' following Hogan's death Thursday. 'This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult,' Nick Hogan, whose real last name is Bollea, wrote in an Instagram post that featured 20 pictures of the pair spanning decades. 'Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad's life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting. My dad was the most incredible person I've ever known and will always be my hero.' 4 A young Nick Hogan (l.) and his father are pictured. Prince William and Princess Charlotte Share a Sweet Moment Cheering on England's Lionesses to Euros Victory

When England failed to defend a goal against Spain, both William and Charlotte showed visible distress, with William leaning in to share some words with his daughter. They talked animatedly with their Spanish counterparts during the game, enjoying the light rivalry which kept spirits jovial. When the Lionesses sailed to victory, they hugged each other and jumped for joy. Princess William wore a dark suit and subtly patriotic tie, navy with thin red and white stripes. Taking a leaf out of her mother Catherine, Princess of Wales's style book (who, when together, will often share lovely mother-daughter dressing moments), Charlotte opted to re-wear a frill-shouldered, navy polka-dot dress from Guess, which the young royal wore to Wimbledon last year. Kate Middleton often delves into her own archive of elegant tea dresses and structured tailored looks. When she joined the rest of the British royals for the Order of the Garter service at Windsor Castle most recently, Kate pulled a Self-Portrait dress from her wardrobe that's proven to be quite a favorite. She'd worn the dress for both the 80th anniversary of VE Day and the Platinum Jubilee in 2022. It looks like she's passing that mindful sartorial sensibility down to Charlotte.

She is known as the woman with the ‘world's largest lips'— here's what she looked like before all her surgeries

One too many injections. Spending over $26,000 on lip filler alone will earn you the title of the woman with the 'world's largest lips.' Andrea Ivanova set out in 2018 to alter her appearance by not only getting a wild amount of lip injections — but also chin shaping, enlargement and lengthening, jaw shaping and cheekbone enhancement, according to the Daily Mail. Advertisement 4 Ivanova looks like a real life Bratz doll after all her cosmetic procedures. Jam Press/@andrea88476 By 2022, the Bulgarian woman already had nearly 32 procedures done to make her look like a living Bratz doll. Now, photos of what she looked like prior have surfaced — and the difference is striking. Advertisement 4 Her before pictures are wildly different from what she looks like now. Jam Press/@andrea88476 4 Ivanova before spending thousands on cosmetic procedures. Jam Press/@andrea88476 Although Ivanova is aware that her lack of a love life is most likely due to her overdoing it with cosmetic procedures — that and knowing it's risky doesn't stop her. 'My doctor was afraid to inject more hyaluronic acid into my lips, but I was adamant that I wanted more, and I will not stop,' she said, according to the outlet. Advertisement 'But this time, I wanted to experiment with myself to see how many injections and [amounts of filler] would affect my body.' 4 Doctors once warned the millennial to ease up on all the work she was planning on getting done — but she didn't listen. Jam Press/@andrea88476 Doctors have even warned the social media model that her injection obsession is dangerous — and potentially fatal — but expert advice won't change her mind. In addition to the many alterations to her face — Ivanova has also gone under the knife for a breast augmentation, taking her from a 75C to a 75E bra size. Advertisement As wild as this might sound — Ivanova at least didn't have a procedure gone wrong like one model who claims her butt implants fell out. Chelsea Robinson has apparently spent over $140,000 in total on various cosmetic surgeries. In 2019, the 29-year-old traveled from London to the Dominican Republic to get butt implants. After getting back (and hopefully healed) she was working out in the gym when she felt like something was off. 'My leg went all tingly, and I felt something come out. My implant was hanging,' Robinson told British TV personality Olivia Attwood during a sit-down interview for her UK show 'Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection.' The self-procalimed model said she ended up spending $85,567 on corrective surgeries to fix her booty.
