Greggs launches summer menu including new bake and Korean chicken range
From this Thursday (May 15) Greggs fans will be able to get their hands on the new Korean Crispy Chicken Burger and Korean BBQ Chicken Wrap
Greggs has announced its brand new summer menu - and it includes a new Korean chicken sandwich range. There is also a brand new bake and flavour of pizza hitting stores from later this week.
From this Thursday (May 15) Greggs fans will be able to get their hands on the new Korean Crispy Chicken Burger and Korean BBQ Chicken Wrap as a made-to-order menu in select shops nationwide.
There will also be a new Korean BBQ Chicken Flatbread and Spicy Korean BBQ Chicken Baguette, which can be toasted. Greggs bake fans can also rejoice - as the new Red Pepper, Feta & Spinach Bake is landing on shelves.
Elsewhere, four sandwiches are set to join Greggs' sarnie selection - including the new and improved Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich, Roast Chicken Salad Roll and Roast Chicken with Honey Mustard Mayonnaise Oval Bite.
Those looking for a veggie option can try the new Cheese and Onion Roll. Other additions include a focaccia style Chicken, Sweetcorn & Red Onion Pizza, which is available by the slice, or in boxes of four of six slices.
In terms of drinks, the Caramelised Biscuit Latte joining the expanding menu this summer and is available hot or over ice. Finally, you'll also find a tangy Lemon Meringue Muffin and Fat Free Greek Style Yoghurt with Strawberry Compote, plus duo of Plenish Immunity Shots.
All of the new menu items are available via Click+Collect on the Greggs App, which is free to download. For every nine purchases across any different category – from hot drinks to sandwiches to bakes to sweet treats – app users can get one free.
New users of the Greggs App also receive a free hot drink when they sign up, as well as a free sweet treat to celebrate your birthday each year.
It comes after it was revealed Greggs is set to open seven new discount outlet stores this year. Greggs Outlet sells surplus food including sausage rolls and bakes at super cheap prices.
You can typically find discounts of up to 75% off - so for example, a four-pack of sausage rolls costs £1.85 in Greggs Outlet, which is 46p a sausage roll. You would normally pay around £4.35 for a four-pack of sausage rolls in a regular Greggs store.
Greggs has 38 outlet stores. The sausage roll chain originally wanted to increase this number to 50 in 2025, but it is now aiming for 45 stores. Greggs has not revealed the locations for its new Greggs Outlet stores.

Redesigned 2026 Kia K4 Spied In California Ahead Of Debut
US-Spec Kia K4 Sedan Spied The 2026 Kia K4 has been spotted on American roads completely undisguised (since we already know what it looks like), heralding an imminent launch for the automaker's surprisingly popular sedan, which has helped Kia achieve remarkable sales this year. Its distinctive design hasn't hurt sales, but the Korean automaker is already making significant changes to its styling, and this test mule appearing on Orange County roads without any camouflage means those changes are almost ready to reach the dealer. New Headlights Give K4 Robotic Look The current Kia K4 has headlights that stretch in three directions: toward the rear of the fenders, toward the bottom of the bumper, and toward the center of the front fascia. Similarly, the rear end has a taillight setup where the housings have both vertical and horizontal bars, which almost creates the commonplace full-width lightbar. For the new model, that quirky design has improved somewhat, as the headlights are now simpler and more upright, which gives us EV9 vibes. At the rear, the taillights now stretch into the fenders, and the horizontal accents have been removed. A pair of small spoilers on either end of the rear windshield also appear to be new. Final Testing Now Underway With minimal white vinyl on elements like the bumpers, door handles, charging port, rear fenders, and side skirts, as well as what appear to be production wheels (missing their center caps, though), this K4 sedan prototype seems like the finished product. Although we've hardly seen the new K4 anywhere on the internet, this may already be our last preview, as the new design is expected to arrive for the 2026 model year. Hopefully, it will retain the attractive pricing of the pre-facelift version, which starts at a scarcely believable $21,990, before destination and handling. With the effects of tariffs still casting doubt on pricing, speculating on how much the MSRP may change is probably fruitless, but a small increase seems likely. If you don't mind the current design (seen below), there will probably be some good incentives for the 2025 model when the 2026 variant arrives at dealers. Greggs fans gutted as best menu item axed after 9 years
Many have been struggling to find the Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite in their local stores, which was first launched in 2016. It comes as multiple eagle-eyed customers posted on Reddit sharing their concerns that the sandwich had been removed. As someone wrote on the subreddit r/greggsappreciation: 'Chargrill chicken oval bite been taken off the menu? There's a new icon in town 💙 — Greggs (@GreggsOfficial) May 30, 2025 'I've literally checked 5 different greggs locations in the past week and they haven't had the chargrill chicken oval bite in stock. 'They don't even have the little name tag on shelves, are they axing this? It was my favourite since I was wee and i'd be devastated lol.' Social media users were quick to respond as one replied: 'Ye they've got this rubbish roast chick sub instead, sorry to break it to you OP.' To which another commented: 'aw gutted.' This person shared: 'Yes it's been removed from the menu.' 'It's gone,' a third implied. Discontinued UK Sweets/Chocolates This customer joked: 'F*s that was my idea of a healthy option. 2 sausage rolls it is then.' Meanwhile Greggs fans have noticed the Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite has been replaced with the Roast Chicken Salad Roll, which launched in May – a move which has now been confirmed by Greggs to Newsquest. What is Greggs' new Roast Chicken Salad Roll? On the bakery's website it explains: 'Succulent slices of sliced roast chicken breast topped with tomato, cucumber, mixed leaf salad and seasoned mayonnaise in a white and wholemeal roll. 'That's it. That's the whole roll. It's understated, but it packs a punch when it matters the most.' On Reddit, one commented under the original post: 'It's now called roast chicken. It's basically exactly the same. Give it a go!' A second profile said: 'They have replaced it with the roast chicken oval.' Elsewhere on social media, one person even hailed it 'the best sandwich they had'. 'Another one gone that I liked after the beef and Veg pasty what next,' a person said. Someone else who wasn't too happy about the news joined in: 'I'll have to switch up to something else, things will never be the same though. I liked that particular roll.' Yet others didn't seem as bothered as someone posted: 'As long as I can still get me cheese and onion pasty Im Happy.' Also in agreement, this user shared: 'As long as it's not da chicken bake.' Greggs customers demand return of Ham and Cheese Pastry But the axing of the Greggs Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite has prompted customers to debate the menu items they would like to see return, including the Ham and Cheese Pastry. Discussing on social media, one person stated: 'I liked the ham and cheese pastry from years ago.' 'Bring back the ham and cheese pasty! Those were the best,' a second demanded. Recommended reading: Additionally, an account put: 'They need to bring the steak & cheese roll back.' While a profile said: 'Bring back the Jaffa Cake Doughnut…' A Greggs spokesperson said: 'The Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite is taking a well-deserved rest to make room for our brand-new Roast Chicken Salad Roll, which has recently landed in shops.'
