Star cricketer Shubman Gill finally breaks silence over the dating rumours connecting him with several popular personalities, including legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, and influencer-actress Avneet Kaur.
In a recent interview, Shubman dismissed the speculations as "so ridiculous" and laughed at the notion of having a romantic connection with any of them.
"There have been so many rumours and speculations linking me with different people. And sometimes, it would be so ridiculous that I've never seen or met that person ever in my life. Right now, I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There's no space in my life to be able to be with someone. Three hundred days, we're on the road, travelling somewhere. So there's hardly any time to invest in a relationship with someone," said Shubman Gill.
Sara Ali Khan has also dismissed the dating buzz surrounding her and Shubman Gill. During her appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 8, the actress had a witty comeback when the topic came up. As the crowd chanted "Sara! Sara!" while Shubman was at the crease, she jokingly responded, leaving everyone in splits. "You've got the wrong Sara, guys! Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechhe pada hai" (The whole world is after the wrong Sara).
Shubman Gill, however, chose to keep the mystery alive. While appearing on Dil Diyan Gallan with Sonam Bajwa, he was asked directly if he was seeing Sara. With a playful grin, he replied, "Maybe." When Sonam teased him further with, "Sara ka sara sach bolo," (Tell the whole truth) he cheekily responded, "Sara da sara sach bol diya" (I've told the truth), adding more fuel to the speculation instead of clearing it.
Just as things seemed to settle, rumors sparked again, this time connecting Shubman with actress Avneet Kaur, known for her role in Tiku Weds Sheru. The chatter gained traction after Avneet posted photos from the Champions Trophy celebrations in Dubai, where Shubman had delivered a stellar performance. One of the snaps included him, instantly igniting a new wave of dating gossip among fans.
