Minnesota teen charged with felony after fraudulently using Clay County person's credit card, officials say
SPENCER, Iowa (KCAU) — A teenage boy from Minnesota has been charged with felony fraud after allegedly using a Siouxlander's credit card to make over $12,000 in fraudulent purchases.
The 17-year old juvenile was arrested on Jan. 29, 2025 and charged with credit card fraud, a class C felony, officials said. His name was not released.

According to a release from the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the victim, who lives near Dickens, Iowa, reported the crime on Jan. 11. Officials found that a 17-year-old from Lakefield, Minnesota had allegedly accessed the victim's credit card and made about 65 purchases worth a total of over $12,000.
The boy turned himself in on Jan. 29. He has since been released to the custody of his parents.

(WKRG) — Spiro Cheriogotis extended his financial advantage over Mobile's five other mayoral candidates last month, according to campaign finance filings with the Alabama Secretary of State. Hudson carried over $158,000 from her last campaign for County Commissioner. Drummond brought $30,000 from her State Representative campaign balance. Second arrest made in Hickory Hill gas station shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A second arrest has been made in a Hickory Hill gas station shooting that left a man and a juvenile critically injured last month. Kevon Chapman, 18, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday. Chapman is charged with attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, and possession of a firearm by a dangerous felon. ► ORIGINAL STORY: Two injured in Hickory Hill gas station shooting On May 29, Memphis Police say they responded to the Circle K gas station on 6193 Mount Moriah Road Extended regarding a shooting call. A male victim was found sitting in he driver's seat of a Corolla suffering from a gunshot wound to his left hand and face. A juvenile victim was later found after he ran from the Corolla during the shooting. Police say the male juvenile was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left leg and abrasions to his face. They were both taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police say one of the victims is still in the hospital in critical condition and unable to speak. They say he was shot in his lower jaw and that the bullet travelled into his neck with a bullet remaining near his carotid artery. Arrest made in gas station shooting that left 2 injured On June 2, during a follow-up, one of the victims told investigators that the other victim had picked him up, and they were at the Circle K gas station when an unknown man approached them. The unknown man is accused of talking to the victims and getting into the backseat of their car. That is when he allegedly showed the victims a black gun, demanding items from a blue duffle bag inside the vehicle. All three began fighting over the bag and the suspect's gun, as one of the victims drove out of the parking lot. At that time, the suspect shot at both victims multiple times before taking off on foot. The suspect, identified as Kevon Chapman, was positively identified in a six-person photographic display and taken into custody on June 11. Another suspect involved in this case, 21-year-old Tariq Robinson, was arrested on June 3. Kevon Chapman is due in court on Friday morning. His bond has yet to be set. Man, 74, hit and killed by car while crossing street in Queens: NYPD
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 74-year-old man was struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in Queens on Wednesday, according to the NYPD. Police said it happened at 217th Street and Northern Boulevard in Bayside around 10 p.m. The victim was crossing Northern Boulevard when he was hit by a 2017 Chevy Tahoe, according to authorities. More Local News Police said the 74-year-old man was taken to a local hospital where he died. The 47-year-old driver remained at the scene, according to authorities.
