Texas A&M freshman 5-star WR is looking healthy in latest video

USA Today6 days ago
Texas A&M's 2025 wide receiver rotation is built on speed and quickness, which should result in consistent separation in coverage after head coach Mike Elko and his staff landed KC Concepcion (NC State), Mario Craver (Mississippi State), and Jonah Wilson (Houston) from the transfer portal, while 2025 signees TK Norman, Kelshaun Johnson and five-star Jerome Myles represent the future rotation.
However, after missing a majority of his senior high school season in Draper, Utah due to a knee injury, Jerome Myles is back and 100% healthy with an eye on contributing at a high level during the 2025 season, bringing his notable size at 6'2" and 220 pounds and speed that fits what Elko and OC Collin Klein are looking for to fill the void left by junior Noah Thomas, who transferred to Georgia this offseason.
While many worried that health would be an issue after Myles was the last signee from the 2025 class to make it to campus, that is now in the rearview mirror, meaning getting up to speed with the rest of the wide receiver rotation is key to make an instant impact this fall. In a new video from Myles' Instagram, courtesy of On3/Rivals recruiting insider Jaxson Callaway, the Utah native is already looking the part before fall camp officially begins next week.
For someone coming off an ACL injury, Myles is looking like a player with a chance to crack the starting lineup, but will more than likely be the No. 4 option for starting quarterback Marcel Reed once he gets acclimated to the speed of college offenses. Either way, this is a great sign for the Aggies, who know that no matter how long it takes, Jerome Myles is destined for stardom.

Notre Dame quarterback Kenny Minchey makes a bold proclamation following Friday's practice

Kenny Minchey after today's practice: "I'm capable. I believe I'm the best quarterback in the country."Minchey showed off the wheels a bit today with Gino Guidugli as the read defender. You love to see when your quarterback has extreme confidence, and Notre Dame's Kenny Minchey did exactly that on Friday following the second fall practice. When speaking with the media, the second-year player proclaimed that he believes that he's 'the best quarterback in the country,' as On3's Jack Soble posted on social media. It's a strong claim, but one that ultimately could come true. Minchey will have to beat out CJ Carr first, but having that kind of confidence will go a long way. Everything that we have seen from his during his limited playing time and in practices seem to suggest that he's got the skill set to lead the Notre Dame offense. He's got the running ability to make defenses account for his legs, and the throwing ability to pop the top off of a defense. It will be a very interesting battle between the two, as the competition continues this fall leading up to the season opener on the road against Miami. Head coach Marcus Freeman will have a very difficult decision to make, but Minchey is very confident in his abilities. Countdown to Kickoff: DeAndre Moore Jr.

DeAndre Moore Jr. walks into the 2025 season looking at a massively expanded role both on and off the field. Will he live up to lofty comparisons to former Longhorn Jordan Whittington? We continue counting down to the Longhorn football season and this time, we are finally in the month where this thing kicks off. Plenty still to get around this team, and today it's all about DeAndre Moore Jr. A guy that I've felt has been lost in the mess that is the Texas WR room, where so much of the talk is about Ryan Wingo or the new additions. DeAndre Moore Jr might be under-talked about outside the facilities, but inside, he is one of the most important players on the team. 2024 Stats: 39 catches, 456 yards, 7 TDs, 11.7 yards/catch Coming off a year where he was placed in a lesser role because of the emergence of Matthew Golden, Moore is ready to be the leader in this room. He had a very up and down 2024, with two games with multiple TDs(one of which was against Mississippi State with Arch starting), but also had multiple one catch games. Going into 2025, he will be asked to do much more in this offense and as we have seen, when that slot WR can get going, this offense is as good as there is in the country. DeAndre will also carry the bulk of the leadership responsibility in this room. He is the only WR on the roster that is not in his first or second year. This lends credence to his nickname as of late: Jordan Whittington Jr. Whittington is one of the most beloved Longhorns during the Sarkisian era. Moore has been thrust into that leadership role that Whittington had, but the unique skill set also encourages the comparison. He is a very professional route runner and working out of the slot, is a massive threat for big time plays. This is a big reason I think Moore would thrive with #16 under center this year. The pitch and catch between Arch and DeAndre in the Mississippi State game is one of the best plays of the 2024 Texas season. It is also a play that was not utilized nearly as much going forward with Quinn at QB. This is something that Moore has backed up, saying in media availability yesterday that Arch's pass has more 'zip' than Quinn's do, along with a comment about Arch's added running dimension. That is very clear to see for anyone, but I think it opens so many doors for Moore's role in this offense. While it's very fair to say Ryan Wingo will be the leading receiver on this team, I think we will find DeAndre Moore is as important of a piece. That is, in part, due to the fact that he is the best blocking WR on the team, and in Sarkisian's offense, if you can't block at WR, you can't play. Moore is someone that is not being talked about enough right now, but also the guy that does not worry much about that. On a Texas team that is defined by the amount of change and youth, guys like DeAndre Moore Jr. become that much more important. I expect a huge year from the Texas slot receiver and I don't expect the comparisons to Jordan Whittington to stop anytime soon. As great as Moore will be, Ryan Wingo will be the WR1 for this group and we will jump into the talented sophomore tomorrow. We will break down why I think this will be a huge season for Wingo and the reason he could join Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams among the elite WRs in the country. Madden NFL 26 Top OL ratings revealed — did any Steelers make the cut?

EA just dropped the top-10 player ratings at each position for Madden NFL 26 — and a problem that has plagued Pittsburgh over the past several years has reared its ugly head in the new video game: offensive line play. Here are the newly released Madden NFL 26 player ratings for the top-10 offensive linemen — with the Steelers missing the mark by a wide margin. For comparison, here's the Steelers' offensive line ratings: It's unlikely the young group cares about their Madden ratings with Super Bowl aspirations at play — but the Steelers expect big things out of the unit in 2025, potentially forcing EA Sports to hand out some upgrades early.
