Scottish gangster linked to Lyons clan hangs out backstage at Oasis gig
The Scottish criminal posed for photos with Noel Gallagher as well as guitarist, Gem Archer and former Doctor Who actor Matt Smith at a backstage party for the band.
Kelbie (41) a convicted fraudster, was snapped wearing an exclusive VIP badge while grinning broadly with the A-listers on his Instagram account.
The former convict even uploaded a video of himself at the gig, with the soundtrack of Oasis' hit 'Stay Young' that he captioned '#oasismania what a great night. They're definitely a must see.'
Kelbie, of Ratho, Edinburgh has links to Irish crime boss and former promoter through Kinahan's now-defunct MTK management stable.
At the height of Kinahan's 'sports washing' PR campaign, he urged major names in the sport to help promote his image which included the heavyweight champ who gave his friend and mentor a social media shout-out.
Kelbie, who previously admitted mortgage fraud in 2012, is well-known to Scottish police and has survived three assassination attempts.

In July 2023, Tyson Fury was sotted out and about with Kelbie on a whistlestop trip to Edinburgh where they popped into a plush cocktail bar while the fighter posed for pictures with tour bus staff.
Fury and hardman Kelbie were even treated to specially-made Gypsy King cocktails featuring the boxer's logo and their faces on the fancy drinks at VIP favourite Tigerlily.
Convicted fraudster, Kelbie, who has links to the Lyons crime clan, became pals with Tyson, who has no links to criminality, after allegedly landing a job working with him three years ago. Read more
He claimed to have served as director of talent for MTK Global, the boxing promotions firm linked to mobster Kinahan, which advised Fury, former middleweight and super-middleweight champion Billie Joe Saunders (32), and Scottish light-welterweight world title holder Josh Taylor (31).
Fury, Saunders and Taylor have no links to crime.
MTK Global was put out of business ahead of the Gypsy King's Wembley triumph when he beat Dillian Whyte in April 2022 after US cops put a $5 million bounty on founder Kinahan's head.
Kelbie reportedly helped set up a Spanish gym for a boxing firm linked to wanted mob boss Kinahan.
Fury and Kelbie (far right)
The previous year Kelbie was with Fury when he kicked out at a taxi in an incident caught on camera while they were on holiday in the south of France.
Kelbie was seen leaning through the passenger's side window while Fury tried to open the door before it takes off without them.
Kelbie later uploaded pictures to his Instagram in the resort town that included footage of the boxer and his dad with pints of Stella at a roadside bar.
Kelbie, who has reinvented himself as a boxing promoter, is a sworn enemy of jailed cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson (38) whose associates include members of Glasgow's Daniel Clan, MailOnline reports.
Gangsters working for Richardson are believed to have ripped off Dubai-based Ross 'Miami' McGill with £500,000 of fake cash for a cocaine shipment.
The Daniel Clan's deadly rivals, Lyons gang have reportedly been giving McGill, a former Rangers football ultras 'capo', information on the Edinburgh-based gangsters as he conducted his campaign of revenge.
He is alleged to have ordered knife attacks, shootings and firebombing that sparked a tit-for-tat gangland clash.
Back in 2010, Kelbie was shot in the back outside a Bannatyne's Health Club in Edinburgh.
In 2013, a hail of bullets were fired at the hood's home at Ratho Station, Edinburgh which he fled 2016.
Kelbie has since reinvented himself as a boxing promoter and has previously been pictured in selfies with legendary former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, 82, retired England ace Wayne Rooney.
Kelbie's latest snap comes just days after the funerals of two Scottish gangsters who were gunned down in the Costa del Sol.
Top 'Lyons' gang figures Ross Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Lyons Jnr, 46, were shot dead having watched the Champions League final at Monaghans bar in Fuengirola, Spain, on May 31.

''I will humbly accept any criticism or advice you give me in the future.'' What is IVF? In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a fertility treatment to help women get pregnant. Eggs are fertilised with sperm in a laboratory and the embryo is placed in the womb. A full cycle of IVF takes around three to six weeks to complete. It usually follows six steps, depending on the type of treatment you're having. You use an injection or nasal spray every day for two to three weeks to stop your ovaries producing eggs naturally. You'll have an ultrasound scan to check if the medicine has worked. Once your ovaries are no longer producing eggs, you'll inject yourself every day for two weeks with medicine that increases your egg supply. You'll have tests or scans to check how well it's working. A doctor at the clinic collects your eggs using a needle inserted through your vagina. This takes around 20 minutes and you'll be offered medicine that makes you sleepy (a sedative). Your partner is asked to give a sperm sample in a private room, usually while your eggs are being collected. If you're using donor sperm, it will be ready in the laboratory. The eggs are fertilised with the sperm in a laboratory. The clinic will call you the next day to let you know how many embryos have been made and how many they might be able to use. After a few days, an embryo is put in your womb using a thin tube inserted through your vagina. If you have more than one embryo, your doctor will discuss the risks and benefits of putting in more than one embryo. If any suitable embryos are left over, they may be frozen for future IVF attempts. The clinic will discuss this with you and let you know about any additional costs, such as embryo storage. ''It's their life and I try to feel empathy for everyone involved but she shouldn't have the right to unilaterally decide to have a child with his genes lol what type of world is this...'' Another wondered: ''How do you manage to go through IVF without one person consenting? What the hell is he meant to do in this scenario exactly? ''Well the decision has been made. They already have one child with each other, hopefully he will love and care for the 2nd child despite not wanting it in the first place. I tried hi-viz trick at top tourist spots… I dodged £35 ticket with cheerful nod but poor acting thwarted theatre trip
SOMETIMES the best place to hide is in plain sight. Just look at Oasis fan Advertisement 8 Oasis fan John Spilsbury saw their Manchester gig for free by disguising himself as a litter picker Credit: Facebook 8 Sun man Tom Bryden tests the high-vis jacket theory Credit: Darren Fletcher Put on a high-vis jacket and walk with enough confidence, and you can get in anywhere — or so the theory goes. It might seem odd that making yourself so visible actually makes you invisible. But this reflective piece of clothing might be all you need to walk past security unchallenged. Would it let me sneak into some of London's biggest tourist attractions without paying a penny? Advertisement read more on oasis With a £4 high-vis vest and a broken walkie talkie to add to the illusion, I set off to put it to the test . . . ODEON CINEMA THE Odeon Cinema on Leicester Square hosts many of the big blockbuster premieres. And access to the screens is firmly blocked off by a bunch of guys with seemingly one job, and one job only – to stop me getting in. Would this be Mission: Impossible? 8 The Odeon Cinema on Leicester Square fell for Tom's hi-vis jacket Credit: Darren Fletcher Advertisement I was clueless about the layout and nearly blew my cover by looking confused. Most read in The Sun Oasis kick off first Manchester homecoming gig after 16 years away But one pretend-listen to my walkie talkie and I started to walk like I'd been trying to get into Screen 2 all along. The man on the door was itching to ask for my £18 ticket, but I looked him dead in the eye and gave a firm nod. Not a word was spoken and I was on my way to watch How To Train Your Dragon. And despite being zoo workers, no one clocked my monkey business. Hi-vis whipped off and I was able to roam the zoo like any other visitor. Advertisement As a man clearly here for business not leisure, I tried to appear mildly irritated by the hold-up but too polite to hurry anyone. It worked, because when I got to the front I was ushered in with an air of apology. I certainly enjoyed the exhibition too – not least because I'd avoided the £20 fee. THE OVAL GROUND GIANT black gates at Advertisement As I tried to breeze in nonchalantly, firm shouts from the guards quickly stopped me in my tracks. 8 Tom struck out at The Oval Credit: Darren Fletcher My explanation that I was 'just nipping in for a look' unsurprisingly didn't go down too well and I was on the streets unless I paid £20 for a ticket. ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL THERE were a few places not too keen to let me in.
