William Plans to Strip Andrew of His Royal Title After Report He Was With 40 Women in 1 Night: ‘Something Needs to Be Done'
A source told The Telegraph in a report published on August 5, 2025, that William knows 'something still needs to be done' with Andrew, and he has a plan for his disgraced uncle once he becomes king. That plan includes banning Andrew from his coronation, removing his Order of the Garter, and stripping him of his 'Prince' title, which will require legislation.

'I think to a large extent Charles has adhered to that as a safe policy—the moment you start tearing the family apart, where does it stop? With William it will be a different approach—he has hard-nosed ideas about how the Royal family needs to appear in the frenzied social media world we now inhabit, and I think will be ruthless,' royal biographer Christopher Wilson told the publication.
Another source explained that, while William has plans to remove Andrew's 'Prince' title, it may be more difficult than fans think. 'If there was a serious move to take [a title] away, particularly at that level, you do it through both houses [of Parliament],' the insider said. Another source commented, 'Is it likely at this point? No. But is it possible? Yes.'

News of William's feelings toward Andrew come after Andrew Lownie's bombshell book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, detailed several unflattering stories about the Duke of York. One story included the claim that more than 40 women were once brought to Andrew's hotel during a stay in Bangkok in 2006 when he traveled to Thailand to represent the crown at the King of Thailand's diamond jubilee. 'Hotel staff were used to foreigners bringing in girls, but amazed that more than 10 a day were going to Andrew's room,' Lownie wrote.
'Often, as soon as one left, another would arrive,' a witness told the author.
Tension between William and Andrew also come after British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News in May 2025 that the Prince of Wales has had a 'grudge against his disgraced uncle' for some time and plans to exile him from the British royal family when he takes the crown after his father King Charles' death.
'Prince William has long had a strained and distant relationship with Andrew,' she said. 'Andrew's future within the royal family is beyond bleak, since Prince William is firmly opposed to any public rehabilitation with no foreseeable path back. He wants Andrew to vanish from public view.'

Hong Kong and global film icon Jackie Chan got a rapturous reception at the 78th edition of the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on Saturday evening as he was honored with the Pardo alla Carriera, or Career Leopard award, on the Swiss town's Piazza Grande square. Drake Debuts His Latest Superstar Collaboration At No. 1
Drake is accustomed to reaching No. 1s on the Billboard charts, and his latest smash adds several more winners to his already-historic tally. The rapper has been one of the most successful names in American music for more than a decade, and he often launches new cuts directly in the top spot. That is true again this frame with 'Which One,' his new collaboration with U.K. star Central Cee. While it misses one major throne by a single spot, it still opens as a champion on multiple lists. Three New No. 1s for 'Which One' 'Which One' starts at No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, Rap Streaming Songs, and Rap Digital Song Sales charts this week. The track is a major smash on streaming platforms – which is a common occurrence for the Canadian hip-hop talent – and even a bestseller, though only when looking specifically at rap. Drake's Career Totals Reach New Heights As 'Which One' arrives, Drake has now collected 27 No. 1s on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, 22 on the Rap Streaming Songs list, and 25 on the Rap Digital Song Sales tally. On each roster, he has earned well over 120 top 10s — a feat no other rapper has matched. 'Which One' Opens High on Other Rankings Beyond its trio of debuts at No. 1, 'Which One' enters inside the top 10 on several other Billboard tallies. Both tracks are expected to be featured on his upcoming album Iceman, which is rumored to be released later this year. A Shift Back to Rap on 'Which One' Earlier in 2025, Drake teamed with PartyNextDoor on a joint project heavy on R&B-leaning tracks titled Some Sexy Songs 4 U. 'Which One' brings him back to a more assertive rap style, pairing his own verses with Cee's in another team-up for the two.
