From Reality TV to Real Radiance: Ciara Miller on Skincare, Self-Love, and Stress Relief (Exclusive Interview)

Yahoo14-02-2025

Ciara Miller is one of the glowiest girls on Bravo. Any time she steps onto the screen—whether on Summer House, Winter House, or the new season of Traitors—she's not only stunning; she's radiant.
When I met her in New York City on a winter afternoon, she couldn't have looked more different than she does lounging by the pool in East Hampton—and yet, she looked exactly the same. Though her teeny bikini was replaced by layers of outerwear (which she stripped off to reveal an adorable khaki mini dress that put her obviously-well-moisturized legs on full display), she was just as glowy as ever.
A nurse and reality star, Miller has the sort of effervescence that comes from being beautiful inside and out. She also happens to be, as I mentioned, very well moisturized—which helps that goodness turn into a real, light-reflecting glow.
She attributes this to Soap & Glory, a brand she's been using for years and recently partnered with (the two of us met for at a small dinner she hosted with the brand—Amanda Batula was there, and was equally as wonderful as she seems on TV). After she was first introduced to the products by a friend, she went and 'raided a Target' to stock up for herself; and she's sworn by them ever since.
'I love to give myself a spa experience at home,' says Miller. 'And I hate being ashy. I have dry skin, and New York winters are rough. I'm also convinced the water here is making my skin drier.'
To remedy this—both on TV and IRL—she makes it a point to layer her body care.
'I've figured out ways to mix the products and make them fit perfectly into my routine,' says Miller.
Typically, this means starting with a scrub in the shower, which sloughs off dead skin cells to leave skin smooth and bright. 'The Flake Away Body Scrub smells so good, but it also leaves you with an oily, moisturized residue that I love.'
From there, she uses a thick, heavy lotion to lock in all that leftover hydration. 'I go in with the Righteous body butter, which seals in the moisture and makes you glow,' she says.
When she needs to up the wattage on that glow (like, I imagine, when she's attending a pool party on national television—which I fully respect), she's got a great trick. 'Sometimes I'll mix the body butter with a little highlighter if I want some shimmer,' she says. 'But honestly, you don't even need it.'
Another added benefit of layering body care is that it can actually enhance the fragrance and help it last longer. This is important to Miller, who says that smelling good is the key to feeling her best.
'I always put on perfume and try to smell good on camera, which is weird because you obviously can't smell through the camera,' she says. 'But I want products that smell really good, because I feel like that makes me stand up a little taller. It doesn't translate through the screen, but it is something I subconsciously do to feel ready.'
In terms of scents, Miller tends to gravitate toward notes that are clean and fresh. 'I need something airy, and that's typically floral or rosy,' she says. She loves Soap & Glory's Magnificoco collection, but says she gets the most compliments when she wears the rose-and-bergamot scented Original Pink. 'Everyone is always like, 'What are you wearing,'' she says.
Though the products deliver major moisture, they're actually quite delicate in their scent potency—which, to be honest, can often be hard to find at a drugstore price point. They offer enough fragrance to make you feel like you've got something on your skin, but not in a way that's overpowering. 'I don't like anything that's too heavy,' says Miller. 'But Soap & Glory's scents are so transitional—you can wear them in the daytime and at night.'
For Miller, luxuriating in applying scrubs and lotions is just one way she uses body care to de-stress.
'I love massages and I love baths,' she says. 'In 2025, I'm trying to incorporate something once a week to de-stress, whether that's going to a spa or creating a spa at home or taking a bath. I just feel like sitting with myself and taking some me time helps bring me back to center.'
Her approach is a reminder that self-care doesn't have to be elaborate to be effective. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come from slowing down, savoring simple pleasures, and making time for yourself.
As you may have guessed from the multi-step body care routine detailed here and artist-level eyeliner skills she shows off on TV, Miller is 'such a glam girl' through and through ('I like my hair and my makeup and my skin a certain way,' she says). But ultimately, all of these practices are what help her show up as the best—and most radiant—version of herself.
'Sometimes, you've gotta fake it 'til you make it,' she says, adding that to her, feeling good and looking good go hand in hand. 'If you put the effort into looking your best, that's going to translate into everything you do for the entire day. Even when you don't want to get out of bed, taking that extra step to make yourself feel good can make a difference—whether that's spraying your favorite perfume or applying lotion or using skincare products. Just be mindful of something extra you can do to make you feel confident going out into the world.'

RHOA Season 16 Reunion Seating Chart Revealed; Brit Eady Won't Attend

Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta kicked off with the chaotic storyline of Brit Eady feuding with Kenya Moore. We all cringed through the pistol comment that led to the salacious hair spa reveal. If you were hoping to get some closure at the reunion, too bad. Bravo just dropped the RHOA Season 16 reunion seating chart, and Brit is nowhere to be found. Kenya already told us she had been disinvited. It's no shock to see her missing from the seating chart. She didn't even get a cast photo this year. Brit's absence, on the other hand, has left fans with a whole lot of questions. There is a lot to take in with the RHOA Season 16 reunion seating chart. Porsha grabbed the first seat on Andy Cohen's right. Phaedra Parks, who just popped up in Episode 12, is sitting next to Porsha. Then, it's Cynthia 'Cheek Bones' Bailey, who has been out this season as a Friend. At this point, they might as well have given her a peach, too. Meanwhile, on Andy's left side, there's everyone else. Shamea Morton Mwangi snagged the first seat, ready to face off with her on-again, off-again bestie. Maybe Porsha and Shamea's moms can show up and settle their differences, too. Working your way down Andy's left, there's Angela Oakley and Kelli Ferrell. The producers plopped Drew Sidora on the very end of the couch. It's an odd placement, considering how much this season focused on her feud with Porsha and her messy divorce. There's no word on why Brit did not attend the reunion. Perhaps she didn't want to get grilled about the questionable status of her insurance license or why she didn't serve any food at the Country Club Classic. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for a statement from her. In the meantime, we'll be over here mourning what could have been a brilliant comeback season for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The long-awaited reboot will end without any closure to its biggest storyline. The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo on Sundays at 8/7c and Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RHOA SEASON 16 REUNION SEATING CHART? WHY DO YOU THINK BRIT SKIPPED THE REUNION? Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA Reunion Disinvite: ‘Back on Bravo Soon'

It's official — Kenya Moore will not appear at the Season 16 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. Bravo just dropped the seating chart for the sitdown, which confirmed that Kenya was not on the premises. Oddly enough, her nemesis Brit Eady didn't show up either. While Bravo fans continue to make sense of what's going on with RHOA, Kenya chimed in on Twitter/X with a hopeful message about her Housewives status. She said she felt 'disappointed' to not be a part of the reunion while teasing a possible return to reality TV. The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta sat down with Andy Cohen to film the Season 16 reunion on Thursday, June 5. Weeks before the taping, Kenya said that she was 'disinvited' by the network. She also criticized Bravo for not having her back when Brit made the comments about having a weapon. While the cameras were rolling on the reunion, Kenya posted on social media. She sounded willing to make amends with the network, regardless of the salty feelings she had about the hair spa situation. 'I'm disappointed to not be a part of the #RHOA 16 reunion taping today,' Kenya began. 'Please know I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers. I look forward to seeing you all back on Bravo soon,' the RHOA star continued. Although Bravo gave Kenya the boot in the middle of Season 16, she has consistently said that she was still under contract with the network. Whether or not any of this means she'll be back on RHOA is still to be determined. Keep your fingers crossed, Team Twirl. In the meantime, Kenya has been focusing on her daughter and, yes, her hair spa. Despite the grand opening making headlines for all the wrong reasons, the spa remains open for business. The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – WHAT'S YOUR REACTION TO KENYA'S STATEMENT? DO YOU THINK BRAVO SHOULD HAVE INVITED HER TO THE RHOA SEASON 16 REUNION? The post Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA Reunion Disinvite: 'Back on Bravo Soon' appeared first on Reality Tea.
