25 Target Products If You Recently Sat On The Toilet Wondering How Your Bathroom Got So Nasty
We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. These products from the good folks over at Target will take your bathroom from grime to shine in no time flat. 1. A pack of Scrubbing Bubbles drop-in toilet cleaners for an analog way to automate everyone's favorite task... (I'm joking, obvi). For those who would rather maintain a hard-fought clean for as long as possible, these handy tablets keep your potty clean and germ free for up to four weeks. Target 2. A bottle of Bar Keepers Friend liquid cleaner because, seriously — have you used this stuff?? From brass to stainless steel and from silver to porcelain, a quick coat of this stuff will leave it shining like the day it was made! Also available in a powdered form, I find the easy application of the liquid version tough to say no to. Always read the directions — this stuff is POWERFUL — and please send us a picture with your thank you note when your kitchen sink starts acting like a mirror. Target 3. A cashmere vanilla linen spray for when your bathroom needs a dash of crème brûlée and enchanté. While this list abounds in tough grime removers and space sparklers, sometimes a quick misting is all we have time for on a busy day. This luxurious spray does triple duty, as it can also be used on linens, hair/body. Target Promising review:"This spray smells heavenly! I got it for the gym and three pumps literally lasted my entire workout (and I sweat a lot). Would definitely recommend." — God is Love 4. A six-pack of microfiber cleaning cloths since paper towels are so over. JK! We love you paper towels! 🤧 That being said, for general housekeeping, this multi-pack has got your back for all your cleaning needs. Dusting? Nothing dusts like an ultra-fine microfiber. Need something more heavy-duty? Waffled texture's got you covered. Best of all, they're a quick wash away from being ready for another clean-a-thon. Your wallet, and a few trees, will definitely thank you. Target Promising review:"All cloths clean really well for their specific purpose. Doesn't leave streaks behind and easy to wash. I bought 2 packs and keep one set in our bathrooms and the kitchen." — Emily P 5. A Scrub Daddy PowerPaste and Scrub Mommy sponge for those of us who love a power couple. Seriously, we've all fallen for the entire Scrub family by this point. But now we have an all-new reason to invite them over: a tough-on-grease paste that polishes, cleans, and protects surfaces. Pair that with Scrub Mommy's magnificent design (did you know it's top-rack dishwasher safe??) and you're living space will go from meh to muah in no time! Target Promising reviews:"If you have a glass shower door — immediately yes, buy now!! You don't have to use much paste. Was able to do entire job without taking breaks (like I do for stronger scented cleaners). Followed directions and at the end I used a slightly damp microfiber cloth to get the last bit of residue." — B "My favorite thing to clean the bathroom with. I live with three messy boys (my husband and two sons) who really know how to do a number on the bathroom. I don't know how our tub gets so much scum built up so quickly, but this cuts right through it with a bit of elbow grease. And the sink with the hairs EVERYWHERE? Quick work of that. Now the toilet… gross, but this stuff gets the job done without too much work or sweat!" — Sara 6. A toilet wand with disposable pads to leave your potty pristine while keeping a friendly distance from the bowl. This toilet wand comes with a handy caddy that keeps a stack of fresh, detergent-loaded scrubbing pads at the ready. Also, a handy button on the handle makes it easy to dispose of the scrubbers in the trash by ejecting them like an escape pod. Basically, it's about as 007 as a toilet wand can get! Target Promising review:"We all hate cleaning the toilets, right? Well this little Clorox toilet wand is easy to use and no need to attach the scrubber by hand. They click right in from the caddy." — Crystal B 7. A posh and neutral cleaning caddy to channel your inner beige-fluencer. With its wooden handle grip and brushed steel body, this rust-resistant caddy will keep all your cleaning agents organized and see you through many a scrub sesh! Target Promising review:"Exactly as described. Perfect size for under-cabinet storage. I bought one for each bathroom to have cleaning supplies." — Bibi 8. A bamboo storage cabinet for the ones who really need to add some storage to the bathroom. This cute little number mixes a heck of a lot of shelf space with a large open storage cabinet with a slatted door that's perfect for stacking TP or any other bathroom items you don't always want to stare at. Target Promising review:"This is so nice and sturdy!! And so simple to put together! And beautiful!!! I want to buy one for every room!" — Roach 9. Or try a reed oil diffuser if you're are all about passive solutions. This diffuser works great for spaces that could always use a little help in the smell department. Think your bathroom, so you can have a spa day every day or entryways so that your first step through the door sets the cozy train in motion. Great for those who already have a handful of essential oils or those who'd like to get in on the aromatherapy action! Target For essential oil diffusers: According to Johns Hopkins, you may want to avoid diffusing oils around larger groups and young children because of the side effects of different oils. You may also want to avoid using an oil diffuser around pets with breathing problems, according to the ASPCA. Promising review:"When it comes to home fragrances I always try to find the long lasting and concentrated one. This oil diffuser is amazing the smell is wonderful, lasts a REALLY long period and the essence does not go away, I highly recommended!!" — Marian 10. A Dyson cordless stick vacuum because some of us want the Batmobile of handheld vacuums and refuse to settle for anything less. This trendy-looking appliance isn't just another pretty face — the powerful Dyson vacuum technology inside traps dust and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. That's about a hundredth of the width of a human hair... divided in half! 🤯 Target Promising review:"Lightweight and easy to use. Amazing the hidden dirt it picks up. Vacuumed one day prior and the dirt cup was filled with dirt and debris. It's going to be a very useful daily vacuum." — CM 11. An extendable scrubber to keep you from having to switch from scrubber to scrubber and to help avoid the bathroom cleaning hunch so many of us assume is a necessary evil. No more! This scrubbing wand features a wide adjustment range that can go from medium to mop-sized or longer! Apply the cleaner of your choice and do your best Wayne Gretzky impression as you literally wipe the floor with your opponents (meaning dirt, of course). Target Promising review:"Game changer for shower walls and bathroom areas that need a lil' extra scrub but might be too high to reach. With its extendable handle — it's great!!! I used a clean rag with fresh water and wrapped the scrubber and then went over the entire shower when I was all done to ensure no soapy residue. Absolutely recommend this product to reduce the time it takes to clean the shower. 😉" — Happytocook4myfam 12. And a jar of the Pink Stuff cleaning paste because, while TikTok might have made it famous, we come back to it since this stuff works! This cruelty-free, all-purpose cleaning paste will astonish you with its nearly infinite applications and absolutely astonishing results. Just add a dab to your scrubber of choice, treat the area in question, and rinse with hot water. You'll swear this paste is more of a time machine than a cleaner. Target 13. A rust-resistant, matte-black shower caddy because... rust? Can't say we're big fans of it in the restroom. Keep it uninvited to the party and free the ledge of your tub from any more accumulating product bottles with this chic and secure caddy. Target Promising review:"LI have had this in my shower for a WHILE now and haven't had any problems with rusting. The fact that you can just set your bottles in upside down and dispense from the rack is genius." — Shananana 14. A powerful scrubbing steam mop for those of us who will accept nothing less than literal cartoon sparkles shining from the floor once we're done cleaning. Combining rotating buffing pads with powerful steaming, this steam mop can thoroughly sanitize whatever hard floor surface it comes into contact with — and can do it chemical free! Target Promising review:"I like the rotating pads with the steam. I used on my kitchen floor, and the floor was nice and clean. I didn't have to apply any pressure while cleaning the floor." — Essdee28 15. A few bathroom drawer organizers to take your over-stuffed drawers from bleh to bliss. 🧘✨ Cleaning STARTS with organizing, after all, and with all kinds of sizes, shapes, and capacities to choose from, you can origami any drawer into order with these convenient little trays. Target Promising review:"I love these bins. I have many sizes. They are modular, so they stack using other sizes, too. I also like that they are plain and simple, and the plastic is thick and not flimsy. Great in the bathroom, kitchen, closet, wherever." — MMD 16. A woven wastebasket because every bathroom needs a little trash bin, so why not make it this gorgeous little number instead of the standard can? Featuring a lovely textured pattern and an all-important lid (bathroom refuse is rarely beautiful), this basket will brighten up any WC it finds itself in. Target 17. A Bissell carpet cleaner to give your rugs and bath mats the royal treatment. These loyal household members don't usually get the same attention as their hard-surface peers, but with this thing, you can remove months, if not YEARS, of dust and dander in the space of a few minutes. Its compact size makes it highly transportable — which is good because ALL of your friends are going to want to take it for a test ride. Target Promising review:"Quickly cleaned carpets that had last had a professional cleaning 24 months ago. Yes, you have to refill / empty it often. But, cleaned better than our consumer-grade upright extractor." — Dan 18. An orange and rosemary cleaning concentrate to add some autumnal notes to your fall cleaning. Why does spring get to have all the fun?? Add a little of this plant-based cleaner to some water in a spray bottle or a mop bucket, and get ready to be dazzled as your bathroom transforms into an oasis of clean. The itsy-bitsy bottle and the concentrated formula ensure your cleaning's not only apartment-friendly but also planet-friendly since it spares our transport system a good bit of water weight. Target Promising review:"We usually buy scent-free "green" products and are very "smell sensitive" to synthetic fragrance in our household. We like this Grove. Co. concentrates a lot -- the smell is not offensive, and the cleaning power is terrific. It's easy to mix in a repurposed empty spray bottle (no need to buy one just for this). The plastic-free packaging is great. We've repeat-purchased this product several times at Target because it's a "keeper."" — Maggie Price: $7.99 19. A super cute utility cart which can upgrade even the drabbest bathroom into a lavatorial palace! This elegant storage solution boasts smooth casters, plenty of storage, and frankly it's BEE-AUTIFUL! As an added bonus, when it's time to clean your bathroom you can just slide this puppy into the hallway. Target Promising review:"Love these utility metal carts. They're multifunctional and hold quite a lot of things as well." — C Price: $40 (available in three colors) 20. A power spin scrubber to make cleaning those hard-to-reach spots actually fun (yes, fun!). This extendable power scrubber can handle it all – whether it's the grout between your tiles or the soap scum that's been playing hide-and-seek on your shower wall. With powerful scrubbing action and adjustable length, you'll feel like a cleaning machine! Or, well, like you're using one at least. 🦾 Target Promising review:"Im obsessed… This works 10000% better than scrubbing ever could. My shower is WHITE WHITE. It's amazing, I dont think it ever was this clean, and its a new house lol. Its so worth the money. Its such a good clean. I love it!!!" — Phoebe 21. A three-tier wire drawer organizer to stow away anything and everything that can fit into a larger bathroom cabinet. Think hair brushes, bath bombs, Epsom salts — you name it! The easy sliding drawers won't rust over time, and you'll keep your a.m. routine shorter and much sweeter when you're not digging around crowded drawers. Target Promising review:"The drawers pull out so smooth and the shelf stays put on my desk perfectly!" — Megan Price: $35 (available in five colors) 22. An eco-friendly scrubber to continue the theme of green-clean we've got going on. The folks at Scotch-Brite have been hard at work figuring out a way to blend ecology and quiet luxury, and we think they finally cracked it! 👨🔬 Maybe that's a bit much, but we do love how this scrubber blends chic and scouring in one streamlined package. Target Promising review:"Makes washing dishes simpler. Hard to find a sponge that will help with the scrubbing." — Erika Price: $4.19+ (available in two pack sizes) 23. From Reality TV to Real Radiance: Ciara Miller on Skincare, Self-Love, and Stress Relief (Exclusive Interview)
Ciara Miller is one of the glowiest girls on Bravo. Any time she steps onto the screen—whether on Summer House, Winter House, or the new season of Traitors—she's not only stunning; she's radiant. When I met her in New York City on a winter afternoon, she couldn't have looked more different than she does lounging by the pool in East Hampton—and yet, she looked exactly the same. Though her teeny bikini was replaced by layers of outerwear (which she stripped off to reveal an adorable khaki mini dress that put her obviously-well-moisturized legs on full display), she was just as glowy as ever. A nurse and reality star, Miller has the sort of effervescence that comes from being beautiful inside and out. She also happens to be, as I mentioned, very well moisturized—which helps that goodness turn into a real, light-reflecting glow. She attributes this to Soap & Glory, a brand she's been using for years and recently partnered with (the two of us met for at a small dinner she hosted with the brand—Amanda Batula was there, and was equally as wonderful as she seems on TV). After she was first introduced to the products by a friend, she went and 'raided a Target' to stock up for herself; and she's sworn by them ever since. 'I love to give myself a spa experience at home,' says Miller. 'And I hate being ashy. I have dry skin, and New York winters are rough. I'm also convinced the water here is making my skin drier.' To remedy this—both on TV and IRL—she makes it a point to layer her body care. 'I've figured out ways to mix the products and make them fit perfectly into my routine,' says Miller. Typically, this means starting with a scrub in the shower, which sloughs off dead skin cells to leave skin smooth and bright. 'The Flake Away Body Scrub smells so good, but it also leaves you with an oily, moisturized residue that I love.' From there, she uses a thick, heavy lotion to lock in all that leftover hydration. 'I go in with the Righteous body butter, which seals in the moisture and makes you glow,' she says. When she needs to up the wattage on that glow (like, I imagine, when she's attending a pool party on national television—which I fully respect), she's got a great trick. 'Sometimes I'll mix the body butter with a little highlighter if I want some shimmer,' she says. 'But honestly, you don't even need it.' Another added benefit of layering body care is that it can actually enhance the fragrance and help it last longer. This is important to Miller, who says that smelling good is the key to feeling her best. 'I always put on perfume and try to smell good on camera, which is weird because you obviously can't smell through the camera,' she says. 'But I want products that smell really good, because I feel like that makes me stand up a little taller. It doesn't translate through the screen, but it is something I subconsciously do to feel ready.' In terms of scents, Miller tends to gravitate toward notes that are clean and fresh. 'I need something airy, and that's typically floral or rosy,' she says. She loves Soap & Glory's Magnificoco collection, but says she gets the most compliments when she wears the rose-and-bergamot scented Original Pink. 'Everyone is always like, 'What are you wearing,'' she says. Though the products deliver major moisture, they're actually quite delicate in their scent potency—which, to be honest, can often be hard to find at a drugstore price point. They offer enough fragrance to make you feel like you've got something on your skin, but not in a way that's overpowering. 'I don't like anything that's too heavy,' says Miller. 'But Soap & Glory's scents are so transitional—you can wear them in the daytime and at night.' For Miller, luxuriating in applying scrubs and lotions is just one way she uses body care to de-stress. 'I love massages and I love baths,' she says. 'In 2025, I'm trying to incorporate something once a week to de-stress, whether that's going to a spa or creating a spa at home or taking a bath. I just feel like sitting with myself and taking some me time helps bring me back to center.' Her approach is a reminder that self-care doesn't have to be elaborate to be effective. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come from slowing down, savoring simple pleasures, and making time for yourself. As you may have guessed from the multi-step body care routine detailed here and artist-level eyeliner skills she shows off on TV, Miller is 'such a glam girl' through and through ('I like my hair and my makeup and my skin a certain way,' she says). But ultimately, all of these practices are what help her show up as the best—and most radiant—version of herself. 'Sometimes, you've gotta fake it 'til you make it,' she says, adding that to her, feeling good and looking good go hand in hand. 'If you put the effort into looking your best, that's going to translate into everything you do for the entire day. Even when you don't want to get out of bed, taking that extra step to make yourself feel good can make a difference—whether that's spraying your favorite perfume or applying lotion or using skincare products. Just be mindful of something extra you can do to make you feel confident going out into the world.' 💖 Subscribe to Laugh Lines, my new Substack exploring the intersection of beauty, self-care, and sanity—served with a side of humor. ✨ Join the community here for fresh stories every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! 🧘♀️💄💕
