Forget AirPods — Samsung's new earbuds put Gemini and live translation in your ears for just $149

While Apple struggles to bring us the fully upgraded Siri we were promised — wait until 2026! — Samsung just got the jump on Apple with a pair of $149 earbuds that feature Gemini and live translation integration. Even worse for Apple, it's at a price that beats out the ANC-equipped AirPods 4, rather than the flagship AirPods Pro 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE) offer a similar style to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro but undercut them by $100. And they might just be the affordable earbuds that you've been waiting for.
The Buds3 FE look very similar to their more expensive cousins, all the way down to an almost identical shape and charging case with a clear lid. They're not quite as shiny, though, coming in just Black or Gray. But they pack in some serious specs, especially for their relatively affordable price.
There's spatial audio on board, called "360 audio." That feature makes your music sound like it's coming from all around you, as opposed to just the left and right. On top of that, there's improved ANC over the previous model, along with better call quality thanks to "a machine learning model" that's trained to isolate your voice. You'll remain clear to your call partner in even busy and noisy environments — always a bonus.
Sound quality is apparently going to be "rich, powerful," while delivering "deep bass and clear treble." Those are all things I like my earbuds to do, but I'll have to get them in my ears before I can tick the "sound quality" box in my review.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE feature a voice assistant through Gemini, so you don't need to pull your phone out of your pocket to ask the assistant a question or get help. So you can say something like "Hey, Google. Start a 20-minute yoga workout."
Then there's live, conversational translation. That's a big one. You can have a chat with someone speaking a different language, and understand what they're saying as the buds translate what they're saying. That's something the AirPods Pro 3 are pegged to have, so it's interesting to see this on something much cheaper.
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
Finally, there are the expected specs. We've got 6 hours of ANC on time in the buds, with 24 hours in the case. That's nothing remarkable. Finally, there's Bluetooth 5.4 for a solid connection and AAC and SBC codecs. That's slightly disappointing — LDAC or AptX would have been nice to see. IP54 water resistance is going to serve fitness fanatics well, but there are better options out there if you're looking for a pair of the best earbuds for running.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE are coming out September 4, 2025. Stay tuned for our full review.

Pixel 10 leak reveals Google may be entering a new market, but with one notable absence

TL;DR The prices of the Pixel 10 series and Pixel Watch have leaked for Mexico and Europe. The price is said to start at €899 for Europe and MXN19,999 in Mexico. Google may not sell the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in Mexico. There's not much left to leak about the Pixel 10 series at this point. We're only days away from the launch, and everything, from the specs to the wallpapers, has pretty much been revealed. But somehow, we're still finding new nuggets of information, like the prices for Europe and Mexico. Don't want to miss the best from Android Authority? Set us as a preferred source in Google Search to support us and make sure you never miss our latest exclusive reports, expert analysis, and much more. For the first time, Google will be officially launching a Pixel phone in Mexico. It will launch the Pixel Watch 4 in the country as well. If you're wondering how much these products will cost, a leak from Android Headlines has the answer. Google Pixel 10: MXN19,999 MXN19,999 Google Pixel 10 Pro: MXN25,999 MXN25,999 Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: MXN30,999 MXN30,999 Google Pixel Watch 4 (41mm): MXN7,999 MXN7,999 Google Pixel Watch 4 (45mm): MXN8,999 Unfortunately, this leak doesn't include the prices of the different configurations. It also doesn't include the price of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but there's a reason for that. According to the outlet, Google won't be selling the next-gen foldable in Mexico. And it's reported that the LTE versions of the Pixel Watch 4 won't be available either. As for Europe, all of Google's lineup will be available for purchase. Here's how the pricing breaks down: Pixel 10 series Google Pixel 10 (128GB): €899 €899 Google Pixel 10 (256GB): €999 €999 Google Pixel 10 Pro (128GB): €1,099 €1,099 Google Pixel 10 Pro (256GB): €1,199 €1,199 Google Pixel 10 Pro (512GB): €1,329 €1,329 Google Pixel 10 Pro (1TB): €1,589 €1,589 Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (256GB): €1,299 €1,299 Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (512GB): €1,429 €1,429 Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (1TB): €1,689 €1,689 Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (256GB): €1,899 €1,899 Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (512GB): €2,029 €2,029 Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (1TB): €2,289 Pixel Watch 4 Google Pixel Watch 4 (41mm, Wi-Fi): €349 €349 Google Pixel Watch 4 (41mm, LTE): €399 €399 Google Pixel Watch 4 (45mm, Wi-Fi): €449 €449 Google Pixel Watch 4 (45mm, LTE): €499 This leak arrives on the heels of a last-minute leak unintentionally committed by a retailer. That leak revealed a new 67W dual-port power adapter, as well as prices for some of the Pixel 10's accessories. Follow

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 plummets to new record-low price, saving you $300!

Ryan Haines / Android Authority OK, now we are talking! We've seen some great Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers, including storage upgrades and free gift cards, but this is the first time we've seen an actual discount on the device, and it's a pretty good one! You can take the Galaxy Z Fold 7 home at a $300 discount. Buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 for just $1,699.99 ($300 off) This offer is available from Amazon as a 'limited time deal.' The discount applies to all color versions available from Amazon, including Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Silver Shadow. If you prefer, you can also get the same deal from Samsung's official website. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Thin, light, high-powered, and it folds! The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers an 8-inch OLED screen, a 200MP camera, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, and a 4,400mAh battery. The Galaxy AI experience is baked in, offering tools across the camera, Circle to Search, and much more. Best of all, Samsung continues to evolve its foldable hinge assembly, promising reduced visibility of the crease. See price at Amazon Save $300.00 Limited Time Deal! Many would argue this is the best foldable smartphone out there, at least in the mainstream market. It's also very new, launched only last month, in July. Given its prestige and recent release, it's shocking to see it discounted by $300. Don't get me wrong, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 isn't cheap, even at the discounted $1,699.99 price point. That said, there really isn't much competition in the world of foldable phones (specifically referring to foldout ones). If you're willing to pay the big bucks, you're getting an outstanding device. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is no slouch. The overall experience will be nothing short of premium. The performance is outstanding, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. This means it will be as powerful as the best Android phones around right now. Ryan Haines / Android Authority Of course, the internal screen is a big part of the experience. It has a large 8.0-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel. It will look gorgeous, and the resolution is sharp at 2,184 x 1,968. Additionally, it has that smooth 120Hz refresh rate we all want these days. If that huge display is too much for quick tasks or checking notifications, there's also the external 6.5-inch external screen. The design is worthy of a Samsung high-end device, of course. This has an aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in the back, and Gorilla Glass Victus Ceramic 2 in the front. It comes with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance. This may not sound like much these days, but it is actually really good in the world of foldable phones. Ryan Haines / Android Authority Also, the battery is a bit small at 4,400mAh, which is another area where foldable phones usually suffer. There is nothing surprising here. All things considered, this is an impressive deal for anyone looking to get a high-end foldable phone. Catch this deal while you can! Remember, this is a new, high-end, very popular device. That's usually a combination for short-lived deals, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has never been cheaper than today. Follow
