Eddie Dunbar signs two-year contract with Q36.5 Pro Cycling
The 28-year-old has been with Team Jayco AlUla since 2023. The Banteer, Co Cork man finished seventh in the 2023 Giro d'Italia and 11th in the 2024 Vuelta, with two stage wins.
The 28-year-old reunites with Belgian coach Kurt Bogaerts, who he worked with at Ineos, where Dunbar was contracted from 2018-22.

Bogaerts is familiar to Irish cycling fans through his work with An Post-Chain Reaction from 2007-17.
'The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team is obviously a team on the up, which is a good sign,' Dunbar said.
'They are really competitive in races, take it on even if they don't win and create a good racing atmosphere riding as one.
'When Kurt Bogaerts – who I know well from my time at Ineos – joined, my interest was sparked even more. I know how he works.
'I also spoke to Doug Ryder (general manager) on how the team is going and what they expect. In Tom (Pidcock) they have a clear leader which is always good for any team so it seems like a good moment now to join with my knowledge and experience.
'Grand Tours suit me well because I always get better towards the end. I absorb the workload of a three-week race well. There have been glimpses of what I can do but due to crashes and illness I haven't reached my full potential there yet. That's something for the next two years.
'The team has already done some big races, and I hope I will play my part in the future ones. Winning a race is never easy but when there is an opportunity, I am ready to take my chance.'
Irish national champion Rory Townsend pulled off a major win for Q36.5 Pro Cycling yesterday, when the 30-year-old claimed the Hamburg Classic, the biggest victory of his career so far.

Russell Henley shot 61 to move into a two-stroke lead after the first round of the Tour Championship, finishing with three straight birdies to move to nine under par. It leaves him two clear of defending champion Scottie Scheffler, the world number one finishing on his own in second place at the East Lake Golf Club. In total, 22 of the 30 players were under par, six players were even and just two players were over par. The combined score of the field was 82 under par. Perhaps it was the heavy rain that pummelled the Atlanta area Tuesday and Wednesday that helped the golfers, with Round 1 played under preferred lies rules due to evening downpours. This allowed balls on the fairways or other closely mown areas to be lifted, cleaned and placed in a preferred spot. The Tour Championship winner will also be crowned FedEx champion and will pocket the $10m on offer, which equates to roughly €8.6m.

‘The best week of my life in terms of Josh and then tonight' – Emotional Stephen Bradley reflects on historic victory
Stephen Bradley says that an away day win in the Azores for his Shamrock Rovers side capped the 'best week of his life' after his son Josh received the all-clear from cancer. The Rovers boss stressed that his players still have work to do in Tallaght next Thursday if they are to become the first Irish team to qualify for European league phase football without availing of the champions route - but Bradley said that the trauma that he has experienced off the park across the last three years has taught him to enjoy the good days.

Bradley hails 'best week of my life' as Shamrock Rovers claim huge Euro win
Stephen Bradley's media duties finished up shortly before 11pm Irish time on Tuesday night, but the Shamrock Rovers boss still had the most important call of all to make. Despite the late hour, he was preparing to Face Time with his family and enjoy 'the best week of my life' with his loved ones, nearly 2,300km away in Dublin. Bradley had just led the Hoops to one of the great results for an Irish club in Europe - a 2-1 first-leg win away to Santa Clara, who last year finished fifth in the Portuguese top-flight. In the Sao Miguel evening heat, on the largest of the Azores islands, his side came from behind thanks to goals from wing-back Danny Grant and forward Danny Mandroiu, to inch Rovers closer to a second consecutive appearance in the league phase of the Europa Conference League. Two days earlier, Bradley's 11-year-old son Josh had completed his treatment for leukaemia. He returned to Crumlin Children's Hospital with his family to say his farewells to the staff that treated him for more than three years. Now, in the middle of the Atlantic, his ecstatic father was preparing to give him a call. 'It caps off the best week of my life,' said Bradley. 'Probably, yeah, the best week of my life, you know, in terms of Josh and then tonight. It doesn't get better than that. I'll be out and I'll FaceTime the kids. They definitely were watching. So, I'll definitely have a call tonight.' Bradley, of course, did sound a note of caution, in case anyone was losing the run of themselves. 'It's half time. They will know that, we know that. We know they're a really dangerous team, and they'll show that again next week,' he said. 'But we also know in Dublin, we can be anybody. And that'll be our aim.
