Great-great-grandson of Henry Ford named Livingston chairman
Ford, is now the majority shareholder at the West Lothian club and will act as the chairman as John Ward leaves his post in the boardroom.
The new Livingston chairman works as vice president of sales and marketing for Pentastar Aviation, a private aircraft management operation based outside of Detroit.
Founder and former owner of Baycup Ltd, McIlvogue said: 'When I chose to invest in the football club I did so to be of help whether short, medium or long term. It has been a great pleasure to support the club through its difficulties and see it bounce back with the first silverware in over a decade and a real fight for Premiership promotion. I believe the time is now right for me to pass on my shares to an investor with a real appetite to take the club forward on and off the park.
'When I joined the club, I said my only aim was that when I leave the club is in a better place than when I arrived. I believe I have achieved this with Calvin's acquisition of my shareholding.
'I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the supporters and staff of Livingston FC, a special mention to the staff who's work behind the scenes goes largely unnoticed, their hard work and passion for Livingston Football Club is nothing short of incredible. I look forward to watch the club thrive with Calvin's support and guidance'.

And that is where Robbo has called for patience as he outlined how it will be a gradual process getting the team to its peak level. He said: 'What you have to do is remember the success that the core of this group has given the club. And with these guys, you can't rip it up you're trying to do is tweak slowly. 'They've got the quality, they've got the pace but they're not there in terms of understanding their levels of fitness. 'And that's something they have to do. It's up to them to get into the team. 'People say, 'I get chances, I don't get chances'. You get a chance every single day you walk into this football club. 'They're coming into our top-six squad and that is the goal — meet our standards.' The Buddies gaffer also gave his thoughts on the Rangers game being called off — then put back on again – after the Light Blues waived the right to a postponement which would have allowed them to concentrate on their Champions League play-off with Belgian cracks Club Brugge. He added: 'We wanted the game on. We're pleased that the game's on because it does disrupt things. 'You can only do so much in training without actually being executed in a proper match. So, we're pleased the game's on and we look forward to the match.'

The talented band members picked up the top trophy in the Novice A section for the first time, after being runners-up for the last four years. It rounds off a fantastic year for the band, who also retained their Scottish Champions trophy in the Novice A category in Dumbarton last month. The band were formed in 2007, and have previously won a number of trophies in the last 18 years, including UK and European Championships. West Lothian Schools Pipe Band's pipe major Graham Drummond said: 'We are absolutely delighted to be named as World Pipe Band Champions in the Novice A grade this year. 'The band have been working so hard to take the top prize after coming so close for the previous four years. They deserve this title for all the effort they have put in and we are pleased to bring the trophy back to West Lothian for the first time.' 'The young people involved put in a huge amount of work to get to this stage, so it's a reward for all the tough nights of practice and rehearsal. The 'Worlds' – the premier contest in the global piping competitive calendar – brings together the best pipers and drummers on the planet to compete in the ultimate 'battle of the bands'. The event is delivered by culture and sport charity Glasgow Life on behalf of The Royal Pipe Band Association with support from EventScotland, part of VisitScotland's Events Directorate. This year's spectacular showcase of skills and talent saw 15 countries represented by 207 bands, 53 of which were from overseas destinations including Australia, Oman to Zimbabwe. Scotland entered the biggest national contingent – 122 bands. Northern Ireland had the second largest, with 25 bands, and next was the USA with 14 bands. 'The Worlds' attracts thousands of spectators to Glasgow every summer and attendance at this year's exciting two-day contest was over 35,000.
