Minnesota killing: Why suspected shooter Vance Luther Boelter's wife was driving with weapon, cash, passports

Time of Indiaa day ago

Vance Boelter's wife Jenny was found with cash, weapons and passports.
The two separate Minnesota shootings in which two politicians were killed and two were injured in what seemed like a targeted act allegedly by one Vance Luther Boelter took a surprising fresh turn after his wife was found driving with cash, ammunition, and passports in a car.
Jenny Boelter, the wife of Luther Boelter, was detained for questioning from a traffic stop not very far from where the targeted attacks took place. Police have not yet arrested Boelter. His wife was only detained for a few hours and not arrested.
The FBI has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information on Vance Boelter.
Where is Vance Boelter? Several questions remain unanswered
Police made little progress in the targeted attacks on Democratic politicians in Minnesota. Boelter is believed to have left the place on foot after his two attacks.
It is not know how police stopped his wife's car -- whether it was a routine check or whether she was being tracked.
There's no explanation why Boelter's wife was carrying weapon, ammunition, cash and passports on her drive.
The relationship between the husband and the wife is not clear because Vance is believed to be living at a different address which was raided by the police.
Police found a list of nearly 70 targets left by Boelter, including Representative Ilhan Omar, Senator Tina Smith, and Governor Tim Walz. Abortion advocates and providers were also on the list.
There were 'No Kings Day' posters in Boelter's based on which Republicans claimed Boelter is a Democrat and he also worked under Governor Tim Walz.
But Boelter's childhood friend claimed that Boelter is a Trump supporter though he said that they did not speak about politics recently.
Boelter has a list of accomplishments in his LinkedIn profile but it is not known how much of it is true. His LinkedIn profile identifies himself as 'Dr' Boelter.
Boelter's profile hints at his previous ties to the Middle East and Africa. For example, he claims to be the CEO is the Red Lion Group, which is based in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Why MAGA isn't going gaga about Trump backing Israel

As Israel and Iran exchanged strikes amid escalated tensions over the latter's nuclear ambitions, US President Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters found themselves at political crossroads, exposing seemingly deep divisions within the Republican base. Is Vance Louther Boulter really a Trump supporter? MAGA exposes Minnesota shooter friend's major claim

Vance Luther Boelter, the suspected assassin of Democratic leaders Melissa Hortman and her husband, was apprehended After a two-day manhunt. However, a number of questions regarding the Minnesota shooting still need to be addressed. First, the reason for the murder was revealed when police discovered a list of roughly 70 politicians he intended to assassinate. Republicans are now accusing Boelter, who worked for Governor Tim Walz, of being a Democrat supporter. 'No Kings Protest' posters were discovered in his car after he escaped on foot. The Minnesota shooting suspect's childhood friend David Carlson claimed that Boelter is a Trump supporter and voted for him. His target list mostly had names of liberal and Democratic leaders. However, MAGA rallied against Carlson after he claimed in a widely shared video that Boelter served Tim Walz but did not like him. The pal added that he also didn't like Jim Biden. Also Read: Broken windows, shock, tributes: Photos show aftermath of Minnesota shooting as Rep Melissa Hortman, husband killed According to MAGA, it is impossible to trust someone who couldn't even recall the name of former President Joe Biden to make a declaration about someone's political affiliation. 'He wasn't a Democrat. He didn't like Jim Walz. He didn't like Jim Biden. He listened to InfoWars,' stated Boelter's roommate. If someone referred to him as a Democrat, the friend said that Boelter would take offense. He was merely helping the community when he served on this board for Governor Walz. He remarked, 'I can't believe a political issue would cause him to do such a thing.' The friend stated, 'He did not like Jim Walz, he did not like Jim Biden,' alluding to Joe Biden and Tim Walz. Reacting to Carlson's statement, one Trump supporter wrote: 'Who's Jim Biden? This roommate is totally unreliable, considering Boelter attacked two Democratic lawmakers in separate incidents for supporting Republicans in removing healthcare funding for illegal immigrants.' 'Jim Walz? Lmao,' another stated. 'Such a liar!!! He voted Democrat! Appointed by a Democrat. Wife volunteered for a Democrat. Killed Democrats looking to leave the party!' a third user said. According to the Brooklyn Park Police Chief, the 43-hour manhunt for Boelter was the 'largest manhunt in the state's history'. At least 200 officers as well as a federal, state, and local partnership were involved in the manhunt. Boelter was apprehended in a field after he croaked at the arresting cops. No force was used during the arrest, as per reports.

'Sh** show': 'No Kings Protest' crowd outshadows Trump's $45 million lavish military parade

On Saturday, US President Donald Trump held a hideously expensive military parade in Washington, D.C., on his birthday. Social media mocked Trump's military parade, marking the 250th anniversary of the US Army. The footage showed the American troops marching sloppily, without any coordination, in front of a tiny crowd as the president saluted every walking contingent. Even as social media users mocked Trump's military parade, the US President deemed his dollar military birthday parade a 'tremendous success' Sunday, despite it being dwarfed by the thousands protesting against his presidency on the same day. While speaking to reporters on his way to Canada for the G7 summit, Trump heaped praises on the parade. 'Last night was a tremendous success with a fantastic audience,' Trump told reporters. 'It was supposed to rain, they gave it a 100% chance of rain and it didn't rain at all. It was beautiful.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Linda Kozlowski, 67, Shows Off Her Perfect Figure In A New Photo Today's NYC Undo 'And so I asked, if they gave it a 100% chance, right? 100% it was going to rain like crazy—and it didn't rain at all—how do they predict 100 years out? And 50 years out or 200 years out?' he continued. 'They didn't do too well the weather people last night, but it was beautiful.' ALSO READ: Are you on Trump's list? President orders ICE to ramp up deportations in Democratic stronghold cities Live Events Was Trump's military parade a flop? Even though an exact number of attendees has yet to be released, crowd figures were considerably lower than the 250,000-plus total White House Communications Director Steven Cheung touted on X Saturday, according to MSNBC and the Associated Press. 'Just the eye of any individual who is here on the ground or looking at images or video knows that there were not 250,000 people,' reporter Vaughn Hillyard, who was at the scene, told the hosts of MSNBC's The Weekend on Sunday. Footage from the event also showed sparse crowds. The crowd at the Trump's military parade was comparatively smaller to the thousands who marched in the 'No Kings' demonstrations across the country on the same day, reports Daily Beast. Data journalist G. Elliot Morris estimated that 'roughly 4-6m people' joined the 2,000-plus 'No Kings' demonstrations, which protested against Trump's policies, potentially making it one of the largest demonstrations in U.S. history. These three US states asked not to drink caffeine Social media users were not impressed by the celebrations and questioned if the soldiers had willingly decided not to turn up for the event. "This was a sh*t show. Recruits in bootcamp can march in formation better than this," wrote one user, while another added: "Even NCC Cadets in India perform better parade marches than the superpower America." A third commented: "Can't believe how underwhelming all the footage of America's military parade is. 250 year anniversary for the world's biggest military and they get troops trotting along out of sync, isolated tanks rolling through to complete silence, small crowd, no cool displays of precision marching or cool tech, and lame country music to cap it off. Embarrassing." A different user wrote, 'HAHAHA! The crowd for Trump's birthday parade is TINY! They claimed 200,000 people would show up and it doesn't even look like 1,000 showed up. How embarrassing for MAGA! No Kings blew this out of the water!!!' ALSO READ: Pentagon pizza monitor predicted frantic activity ahead of Israel's attack on Iran. What's the truth? No Kings Protest in US Protests against President Donald Trump have taken place in towns and cities across the US in a coordinated event titled "No Kings". Lawmakers, union leaders and activists gave speeches in cities including New York, Philadelphia and Houston to crowds waving American flags and placards critical of Trump. Tens of thousands marched peacefully in Philadelphia, where organizers were holding their main event, police said. Philadelphia was chosen as the hub, because "there's an indelible link between Philadelphia and between the freedoms and the ideals that the country was founded upon," said Joel Payne, spokesperson for MoveOn, one of the dozens of groups behind the No Kings protests. Organisers of the 'No Kings' demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. Governors across the US had urged calm and vowed no tolerance for violence, while some mobilised the National Guard ahead of marchers gathering. The demonstrations come on the heels of the protests over the federal immigration enforcement raids that began last week and Trump ordering the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles, where protesters blocked a freeway and set cars on fire.
