This Morning: Alison Hammond confuses her days of the week
This Morning sensation Alison Hammond has excitedly unveiled her latest career development, urging her followers with the phrase "let's hit the road".
The popular 50-year-old presenter of This Morning, who already hosts a variety of significant shows, has had a bustling time recently.

Besides taking on hosting duties for the Great British Bake Off since 2023, in the past year, Alison has also taken over For the Love of Dogs, the show once championed by the beloved Paul O'Grady.

Additional to her impressive portfolio, January saw the debut of Alison Hammond's Florida Unpacked on BBC Two and Alison Hammond's Big Weekend launched just earlier this month.
In her most recent television offering, Alison spends quality time with well-known personalities such as Perrie Edwards and Luke Evans, discovering the places that have shaped them, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Never one to rest, it's been confirmed that Alison is set to host Channel 4's new show, Your Song.
This project will spotlight everyday individuals sharing meaningful songs.
With echoes of The Piano, crafted by the same team at Love Productions, this six-part series will feature Alison journeying across the UK.

Alison couldn't contain her joy regarding her new television endeavour.
She commented: "I love the power that music, and singing your heart out has.
"It can change your mood – put a smile on your face, make you sad, make you reminisce. So I'm really excited about this new show, about real people telling us their stories through song. Let's hit the road."

A synopsis for the show reads: "Alison Hammond will bring her trademark compassion, humour, and unique ability to connect with our singers – encouraging them to open up and tell their story.
"With its signature pop-up stage, Your Song will travel into the bustling heart of some of the UK's most vibrant towns and cities, offering amateur singers the chance to perform in front of a packed crowd – often for the very first time.

A source shared with The Sun: "Alison was the natural choice to present this, with her warm personality and ability to catch unguarded moments with the singers, together with chatting to the crowds.
Alison has become the face of multiple shows over the past few years
"Your Song will feature people who love singing – they may have been singing for a long time but not necessarily in public or on a stage. You can expect some unexpected performances."

Following recent disclosures by Alison herself, the revelation comes on the heels of her impressive weight loss journey, where she shed more than 13 stone, attributing her success to regular personal training sessions.
In a candid conversation with Bella magazine, Alison disclosed: "I've lost a lot of weight. I can remember being nearly 30st, and now I'm in the 17/16st 7lbs range."
She praises her personal trainer for the transformation, elaborating: "I've got a personal trainer - she's amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I'm working, I don't train. I'll go for a walk."

However, on her days at home, she commits to working out: "But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week."

Clarke Carlisle wins £100k on The 1% Club for Soccer Aid

Comedian Lee Mack returned to present the show but this time he was joined by 100 celebrities and sports stars as opposed to the general public. They were put to the test in the quiz where 'the questions have nothing to do with remembering facts, but are all about logic and common sense', explains the Radio Times. The aim of the game was to make it to the end, answering the 1% question correctly to take home up to £100,000 for charity and they were successful. It's the 1% question... Three Lions, two words. What are they? #The1PercentClub At the very end of the show, only two celebrities remained with a chance at making the overall donation total £100,000. Unlike regular versions of the show, the celebrities were working together rather than against each other like members of the public would. While comedian Lloyd Griffith got the final question incorrect, former footballer Clarke Carlisle answered it correctly and won the prize money. Carlisle has also previously been named Britain's Brainiest Footballer. The prize fund included £1,000 from celebrities who were out of the show, having answered a question incorrectly. Former Leeds United defender Clarke Carlisle (once crowned Britain's Brainiest Footballer) has won £100k for UNICEF by absolutely smashing the 1% Club without even using a PASS. As pointed out by the Radio Times, the show isn't about knowing facts, it's about using your brain to answer the questions. Each player gets one pass which they can use to help them skip a question but once they have used it, an incorrect answer takes them out of the game. If they make it to the 1% question, they are asked to go down to the stage for the final question where they see if they are winners. And now, the popular actor and entertainer, reveals the huge impact Alfie's cancer story has had. He said: 'I was going to events, men my age were coming up to me, but mostly women, wives saying 'thank you so much for covering that storyline, because my husband, my brother... they don't want to go to the doctors.' 'One guy in particular, and I don't personally take credit for saving his life, but that storyline did. 'He got checked. His daughter was a big EastEnders fan, and just quite casually said, come on, we love Alfie, you should go and get checked and he did just to appease his daughter. 'He found out he had prostate cancer but it was at the early stages, had it left in any longer it could have been fatal. So if we just save one life, that's the power of soaps.' This week viewers will see Alfie once again struggle with intimacy, a common side effect of his cancer treatment, as he prepares to marry Kat, actress Jessie Wallace, 53, for a third time. Shane filmed the emotional scenes before going off on an extended break where he spent a month touring with best mates, Bradley Walsh, Brian Conley and Joe Pasquale. Dubbed The Prat Pack! the quartet performed all over the country, and provided Shane with a welcomed respite from Alfie's cancer story. Shane said: 'It was one of the most brilliant experiences I've had in a long time. Watch the moment EastEnders' Shane Richie takes cheeky swipe at ex-wife Coleen Nolan as he appears on This Morning 'EastEnders are brilliant at letting me go off. Shane also revealed how they turned down a big money deal from streaming giant Netflix to film the tour. He said: 'We got approached by Netflix to go behind the scenes, and we were like, not a hope in hell!.' What are the symptoms of prostate cancer?
