Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez Unfollow Each Other On Instagram; Feud Explained
Last Updated:
While Hailey and Selena have continued to shut down the rumours of a rift between them over the years, their latest move to unfollow has only added fuel to the fire.
Looks like the drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez is far from over. Their latest social media activity left people on the internet wondering what's really going on between them. Throughout the years, there have been rumours that Hailey and Selena have had a feud over Justin Bieber, with whom the Only Murders in the Building star had an on-and-off again relationship till 2018. The same year, he got hitched to Hailey.
On Friday, June 20, Buzzing Pop shared a post on X, saying that both Hailey and Selena had unfollowed one another on Instagram, calling it quits on their friendship once and for all. The post has now received over 1.4 million views. This came after there were speculations that both stars were being shady towards each other.

While Hailey and Selena have continued to shut down the rumours of a rift between them over the years, this latest move has only added fuel to the fire. Here's everything about Hailey and Selena's alleged rift.
A Timeline of Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez's Feud
At the centre of their alleged rift has been their respective relationships with Justin. Selena dated Justin on and off from 2011 to 2018. A few months after their final break-up, the Canadian singer got married to Hailey. Although both stars have denied any overlap in their relationships with Justin, since then, there have been constant rumours of a feud between Hailey and Selena.
In 2019, after Justin and Hailey's wedding, Selena took a stance publicly and asked fans to stop spreading hate online. She said, 'I will never, ever be by [tearing down other women]. So please be kind to everyone." Hailey, too, addressed the speculations of her feud with Selena on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2022, where she said, 'When he and I ever started hooking up…he was not ever in a relationship at any point. That's not my character to mess with someone's relationship." She also revealed having a word with Selena right after their wedding, saying, 'It's all respect, it's all love."
In the same year, things seemed to be improving between the two when Hailey and Selena were seen posing for a picture together at the Academy Museum Gala. The following year, both became friends on social media and even liked each other's posts. Hailey gave a heart to Selena's engagement post with Benny Blanco, whereas the Who Says singer liked a post in May 2024, celebrating Hailey's beauty brand, Rhode's introduction to Sephora.
But things took a turn in June 2025. Just a day after Hailey announced her $1 billion deal with E.l.f. Cosmetics, Selena's brand Rare Beauty, posted photos of the actor-singer with the caption 'Still here." Online users thought this was a subtle dig at Hailey, even though it was clearly not aimed at anyone.
Now, with both stars unfollowing each other, there has been a buzz over their fallout, especially at a time when there are reports that Justin might be divorcing Hailey, which the latter has once again denied.

Chef Sarah Todd Brings Hyderabad's Qubani Ka Meetha To MasterChef Australia
Hyderabadi cuisine is gaining popularity worldwide and attracting visitors, celebrities, and popular chefs. Among these is the famous Hyderabadi dessert Khubani ka Meetha or Qubani ka Meetha, also called Apricot Delight, which is made with apricots and cream or custard. It is usually served at festivals and weddings in Hyderabad. Thanks to famous chef Sarah Todd, this iconic Hyderabad treat has now reached a global audience through MasterChef Australia. Sarah recently envisaged a contemporary version of the Apricot Delight that honours its cultural origins while presenting it to a global audience. Sarah Todd's Version Of Qubani Ka Meetha Or Apricot Delight With her creative twist on Apricot Delight, returning contender Sarah Todd elevated a taste of Hyderabad as one of her competition dishes in the most recent episode of MasterChef Australia: Back to Win. The ingredients used were apricot rosemary sauce, roasted nectarines, almond cake, cinnamon, sugar, white chocolate Chantilly, bourbon, apricot sorbet, and mandarin. This traditional Hyderabadi dessert featured layers of cake, cream, custard, and apricots. Judge Andy Allen questioned Sarah about the recipe's inspiration, to which the celebrity chef replied that Apricot Delight is a delicacy that is often available on Hyderabad's streets. She expressed her desire to preserve the essence of the dish while experimenting with its flavours. Judge Jean-Christophe Novelli praised Todd's rendition of the dessert, calling it "just perfect" and "balanced," while judge Andy Allen referred to it as "a million bucks." "Qubani ka Meetha (Apricot Delight) is one of the first desserts I truly fell in love with in India," Sarah wrote on Instagram following the episode's airing. She referred to her platter as "a little love letter to Hyderabad." MasterChef Australia also shared Sarah Todd's clip from the episode on their official Instagram account. 'Sarah's apri-got it!' they captioned the post. View this post on Instagram A post shared by MasterChef Australia (@masterchefau) Several users, apparently Indian, reacted to the post. One commented, 'Sarah Todd, celebrating Indian flavours. Apricot delight is one the bestest desserts..' ' Khubani ka meetha... a beautiful delicious ode to the city of Nizams Hyderabad,' a second comment read. 'Thank you for celebrating Indian culture,' another commented. 'Hope to see more Hyderabadi recipes in MasterChef,' wrote one. Sarah Todd is intricately linked to the Indian city of Hyderabad. She has made several trips to the city over the years, trying the street food, talking to the locals surrounding Charminar, and publicly declaring her love for Irani Chai. Sarah, who is known for having a keen interest in Indian food, has often cited Hyderabad as a source of inspiration and a strong sense of culinary identity.
