is all set to entertain the audience with his new supernatural show, Aami Dakini. The actor exclusively spoke to TOI TV, where he opened up about his new show, his character, and more.
He further revealed the preparation that went behind his character in the show.
Karanvir, who is set to enter the show in the role of the mysterious Professor, shared how this role came to him. He said, 'So, when the production house called and said it's Aami Dakini Aahat, I was like, 'My God, this is déjà vu!' because I had worked as an assistant director on Aahat with Mr. B.P. Singh. For me, it was pure nostalgia — like, wow, what an amazing thing to come full circle.'
He further shared, 'The funny part is, just two months ago, we had started making short horror videos of about two minutes each for YouTube, and suddenly, a big horror show like Aahat came my way. For me, it was a sure-shot yes. I'm handling two verticals — producing, directing, and even acting — so six days a week were completely blocked for this. I would even shoot extra to make sure they never fell short of episodes. I'm honestly so excited to be a part of this.

It's my first time doing something like this for TV. The look is very bold, and it justifies the role. There's a lot of emotion that is driving the horror in the show. I saw a lot of horror movies. There's a certain way the character had to walk, talk, and do everything, so there's a lot of preparation that went behind not just the physical aspect but also the emotional.
