Nic Scourton suffered collapsed lung at joint practice in Panthers worry
Panthers rookie Nic Scourton will be sidelined after suffering a collapsed lung in practice earlier this week, Carolina head coach Dave Canales said Saturday. Scourton, an edge rusher drafted in the second round out of Texas A&M, was injured during a joint practice Thursday with the Texans in Houston. His symptoms initially presented as heat exhaustion until further tests were administered at a nearby hospital.
