Holloway honoured alongside Klopp and Mourinho at LMA Awards
Ian Holloway was honoured alongside Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho as he was officially inducted into the League Managers' Association's Hall of Fame 1,000 Club.
The Swindon Town manager was one of five presented with a commemorative shield at the LMA Awards Night for reaching 1,000 competitive games in management.
After a four-year hiatus, Holloway finally got above the four-figure mark against his former club Grimsby Town in December as Swindon were victorious by three goals to one.

Alongside the 62-year-old on the stage as they were inducted into the LMA Hall of Fame 1,000 Club was Mourinho, Klopp, David Moyes OBE, and Mick McCarthy, with the cohort having combined to win 46 trophies across their various glittering careers.
LMA Chief Executive Richard Bevan OBE said: 'The association was also proud to induct Ian Holloway, Jürgen Klopp, Mick McCarthy, José Mourinho and David Moyes OBE into the esteemed LMA Hall of Fame 1,000 Club.
'They now join an elite group of pioneering names who have all demonstrated the resilience, commitment and sacrifice required to be a modern-day manager.
'The LMA Hall of Fame 1,000 Club is a celebration of success and longevity in the game, and on behalf of everyone at the LMA, I congratulate all inductees on reaching this outstanding milestone and thank them all for their extraordinary service to our sport.'

Holloway has been in management for over a quarter of a century, starting out as a player-manager at Bristol Rovers, and has had huge success with Queen's Park Rangers, Blackpool, and Crystal Palace, taking the latter two into the Premier League, and will be hoping to add promotion with Swindon to that next season.
The event also saw the LMA hand out their various managerial awards for the season, with Arne Slot taking home the most prestigious honour of Manager of the Year, having delivered Liverpool's second Premier League title in his first season in the job.
Leeds United's Daniel Farke won Championship Manager of the Year, Chris Davies of Birmingham City won the League One prize, Grant McCann in League Two after winning the title with Doncaster Rovers, Sonia Bompastor the Barclays Women's Super League Manager of the Year for her undefeated season with Chelsea Women, and Jay Sadler of Portsmouth Women for the Barclays Women's Championship.
In addition to these, Oliver Glasner, Eddie Howe, Ange Postecoglou, and Renee Slegers all received the LMA John Duncan Award for the historic successes they brought to Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal Women, respectively.

Man fights against deadly disease that killed dog after walk near Swindon
A man is continuing his fight against the deadly disease that killed his dog after a walk near Swindon. Shaun Reynolds lost his dog, Willow, to Alabama Rot, a rare disease that affects dogs, last year. Since then, he has been raising money for the Alabama Rot Research Fund. He has already raised £15,000, and hopes to reach his £20,000 target this month. The event will feature seven live whippet races on a purpose-built track on the club's football pitch. There will also be a three-piece traditional Irish band to entertain the crowds. Other activities include life-sized garden games, a bouncy castle, a charity Tote, a silent auction, and the chance for people to run their own dogs behind the lure ahead of the races. Food and drink will be provided by local vendors. Mr Reynolds hopes to raise £5,000 at the event. He said: "Last year blew me away. "I thought the event would be popular, but the turnout went beyond what I expected and everyone was complimentary afterwards which meant the world. "Willow's story has touched millions of people. "While losing her was completely devastating and still upsets me each day, her legacy can be to ensure as few dogs as possible go through what she experienced at the end." Willow died after 21 days of intensive care treatment. There is no cure for Alabama Rot, and it is not known how it is caught. An estimated 90 per cent of dogs infected die. To date, 338 cases of Alabama Rot have been confirmed. Mr Reynolds added: "There have been no reported cases of Alabama Rot within 40 miles of Lambourn – where she was infected – in the last year. "That hasn't happened since the disease was first identified over a decade ago. "It's impossible to know for sure, but I'd like to think she's helped to save a life or two. Cash is accepted on the day. Doors open at 1pm, with the first of seven races starting at 3pm. Parking is available onsite.

Jones a contender as Cardiff hopeful on manager appointment
Cardiff City hope to announce their new manager this week, with Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones still in contention. The Bluebirds are looking for a ninth manager in four years as they prepare for life in League One following their relegation from the Championship this season. Jones has been a leading contender since Cardiff sacked previous manager Omer Riza in April, but hiring the Welshman would mean having to pay Charlton a significant compensation fee. Matters are further complicated by the fact Jones led the Addicks to promotion to the Championship last month, meaning they will start next season a division above Cardiff. Urgent £640k repairs needed at crematorium
Urgent repairs costing about £640,000 are needed at a town's crematorium, according to a report. Problems with machinery at Kingsdown Crematorium in Swindon, Wiltshire, began in 2022, when the heat exchanger, which cools the air leaving the three cremators so it can be filtered before exiting the building through its flues, failed. Since then, its flues and filtration system has also failed, with work also needed on the building's large canopy, cladding and tiles. Councillor Kevin Small, cabinet member for finance, is set to ask senior councillors to approve the budget for the work. The report also said the failure of some of the parts had caused the council financial loss, with the council paying a fine of £45,000 per year because of the release of unfiltered gases. "The cost of the repairs to the flues and filtration system is dependent on the scheduling of works as there are options around how the work is carried out," the report said. Taking the facility out of action could cost the council a significant sum, it said. The crematorium is expected to return a £730,000 surplus to the authority's finances in this financial year, but it only made that last year because there was a big underspend on repairs and maintenance.
