Two Arrested for Planning to Bomb Telangana, Andhra Pradesh
Police from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have arrested two men, Siraj and Sameer, who were planning to carry out bomb blasts in the two states. The police found materials used to make bombs with them.
Siraj is from Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh, and Sameer is from Bhoiguda in Hyderabad. They were arrested after the police got information about their plans. The two men were working with people from another country, who were giving them instructions.
The police first arrested Siraj in Vizianagaram and found explosive materials like ammonia, sulfur, and aluminum powder at his house. After questioning him, the police arrested Sameer in Hyderabad and took him to Vizianagaram. Both men were sent to jail for 14 days.
Siraj and Sameer formed a group called Al Hind Ittehadul Muslimeen (AHIM), with Siraj as the leader and Sameer as his assistant. They were getting help from a person in Saudi Arabia, who was giving them orders through Instagram. Siraj had moved to Hyderabad, saying he was preparing for exams, but he met with Sameer many times to plan their attacks. They planned to do a test bomb blast first and then carry out more attacks.
They wanted to bomb different places in India and were getting the chemicals and information needed to make bombs. The police are still investigating and trying to stop any future attacks.

Ghaziabad: 1 killed as car rams into mini truck on NH 9
Ghaziabad: A 30-year-old man was killed and three others sustained injuries after a Maruti Suzuki WagonR rear-ended a moving pickup truck on NH09 near Lal Kuan, Ghaziabad, on Wednesday morning, police said. Police identified the deceased as Mohin Khan, 30, and the injured as Sameer, Faizan, and Hitesh (in their 30s) -- all residents of Gajraula. The incident took place around 6.30am, when the four men were heading to Noida for office in a car, just when a pickup truck moving ahead of their WagonR suddenly applied brakes, officers said. 'A probe found that the pickup truck driver applied brakes to avoid an accident with another vehicle, and the WagonR driver that was behind the truck rammed into it at a high speed. The collision left the car's front damaged, making the driver fled the scene with his vehicle,' said SHO (Wave City) Sarvesh Kumar Pal. A passer-by alerted the police, and a visiting team from Wave City police rescued the injured from the mangled car and rushed them to a hospital where Khan succumbed to his injuries and the rest are hospitalised. Police have registered a case of causing death by negligence (106) under the BNS section at Wave City police station, and efforts are on to identify the truck driver, officers said.

Airtel cracks down on online fraud in T.N., blocks 1,80,000 malicious links
As part of the nationwide rollout of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered fraud detection system, Airtel has blocked over 1,80,000 malicious links and safeguarded more than 3 million users across the State. Automatically enabled for all Airtel mobile and broadband customers, the advanced system scans and filters links across SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, e-mail, and other browsers. It leverages real-time threat intelligence to examine over 1 billion URLs daily and blocks access to harmful sites in under 100 milliseconds, said the Airtel in a press release. For instance, if a resident in Salem receives a suspicious message that reads: 'Your package is delayed. Track it here: And if the unsuspecting resident then clicks on the link, Airtel's system also clicks into gear. It instantly scans the link and if flagged as suspicious, it blocks access. The user is redirected to a warning message that reads: 'Blocked! Airtel found this site dangerous!' All this instantaneously. This real-time interception prevents users from falling victim to all kinds of frauds. Tarun Virmani, CEO-Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Bharti Airtel, said that at a time when digital threats were becoming more advanced and widespread, the need for a strong and dependable secure mobile network was more essential than ever. Commenting at the event, Sandeep Mittal, Additional Director General of Police, Cyber Crime Wing, said: 'We are pleased that the Airtel team informed us and offered a comprehensive overview of their initiative for fraud detection solutions, detailing its goals and operational methodology.'
