AS the weather warms up you might be wanting to ditch your boots and trainers for something a little more weather appropriate.
Sandals are a summer style staple, but that that doesn't mean you have to break the bank to get a pair that will look good.

In fact, Next has got fashion fans covered this season with their incredible Birkenstock dupes for a fraction of the price.
The stylish Forever Comfort Double Strap Footbed Sandals look very similar to the popular Birkenstock Arizona model.
But while the Birkenstock sandals are priced at a whopping £155, fashion lovers can snap up the Next sandals for just £29.
Better yet, the summer footwear comes in black, coral pink, neutral and a trendy metallic silver colour.
Available in sizes 3.5 to 9 and with the option of standard or extra wide, the sandals also have a dual strap and adjustable buckles to ensure optimal comfort.
And shoppers have already been raving about the sandals online as they have an impressive 4.2 rating.
One fashion fan said: "These sandals are very comfortable and the straps are soft on top of the foot - no rubbing."
A second pointed out their similarity to the Birkenstock sandals and wrote: "Very comfortable sandals. They're similar to Birkenstocks but half the price!"
Meanwhile, someone else said: "I've been buying these for many years, always comfortable and good value. Would recommend."
"They look nice and are comfortable, I really like them," another added.
Fashion fans 'need' Primark's new £14 linen trousers - there's two colours to choose from and they're great for spring
However, some shoppers admitted the sandals weren't for them, as one said: "I wore them once and walked about a mile and my foot was bleeding. I don't think I'll be wearing them again."
The stylish sandals aren't the only reason to dash to Next right now though.
Previously, Fabulous' Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed why the high street chain is so good right now.
"While other high-street giants such as Marks & Spencer, Zara and H&M have been celebrated by fashion insiders for their designer dupes and on-trend looks at reasonable prices, Next often seemed consigned to the style sidelines, suitable only for workwear basics, sixth-form suits or cosy jammies.
"But not any more.
"Over the past few years, Next has been pushing the style envelope – and it's now paying off.
"Here at Fabulous, our Fashion Team is wearing more from Next than ever before - from Fashion Director Tracey, who can't get enough of its head-to-toe tailored looks, to me in my new rugby top and Fashion Editor Clemmie in the brand's new season suede jacket."

When is the best time to go to the supermarket in the UK?

It could be that you're gearing up for a BBQ, doing the weekly shop or already preparing for the back-to-school return. However, for those of us who prefer a less crowded supermarket trip, then the summer chaos can be off-putting. Richard Price, supermarket shopping expert at Britsuperstore, has analysed in-store patterns and shared the best (and worst) times to shop during the summer break. The retail expert has also looked at which days and times are best to shop and what to avoid, including the "danger zones" like bank holidays and sunny Friday afternoons. Mr Price says that Tuesdays to Thursdays, 7–9am, are the quietest windows, and contrary to popular belief, Sundays aren't always the worst. In fact, late Sunday afternoons can be 'surprisingly calm', especially during hot weekends when families head outdoors. He explained: 'During the school holidays, the usual rhythm of supermarket shopping changes significantly. "Without the structure of school drop-offs and work routines, footfall becomes more unpredictable and often increases in volume. 'Families are more likely to shop together, which can slow down the overall pace in-store, while better weather and spontaneous days out mean more last-minute purchases.' Below, Britsuperstore details the best time to go the supermarket for low crowds during the school holidays: Monday 7-9am Tuesday 7-9am or 7-9pm Wednesday 7-9am or 7-9pm Thursday 7-9am or 7-9pm Friday - avoid after 3pm, early morning if needed Saturday - avoid - busy most of the day Sunday - late afternoon (3-5pm), but limited stock On the other end of the spectrum is the crowded periods, where families may be stocking up for a weekend getaway or garden party. High-risk times to avoid during the school holidays, according to retail experts: Midday to early afternoon (11 am–2 pm) This is prime time for families heading out to shop after a slow summer morning. Expect queues, buggies, and kids in tow, especially in supermarkets near parks, leisure centres, or popular day-out spots. Late afternoons (3–6 pm) With no school run, this time becomes a key window for after-nap or post-activity shopping. Parents often pop in for dinner bits, and teens on summer break head out for snacks and drinks. Friday evenings and weekends Still peak times for big shops and BBQ/pre-weekend stock-ups. In summer, warm weather adds to the rush as people prep for garden gatherings and last-minute staycations. The Saturday and Sunday before a bank holiday Monday are especially busy. Mr Price added: 'Planning your food shop around these shifting patterns, rather than sticking to your usual schedule, can help avoid queues, reduce stress, and even lead to fresher stock and better availability.'

Primark's 'classy' £18 bag looks 'just like' £459 Ralph Lauren tote

Primark's new bag looks very similar to a designer version - but its a fraction of the cost Primark is stocking a new bag that bears a striking resemblance to a pricier alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser. ‌ The retailer's Faux Leather Removable Pouch Tote Bag looks similar to a style by designer brand Ralph Lauren but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £19, while the other version is currently priced at £459 online. ‌ The bags are very similar, with a leather-look design and smooth finish in a tan shade. They also both feature a similar shape and handles. ‌ However, there are some differences too, including that the Ralph Lauren bag features the brand's logo in gold on the front, while Primark's is plain. The Primark bag is also faux leather, while the designer version is not. Primark describes the Faux Leather Removable Pouch Tote Bag as a "classic tote bag featuring a handy removable interior pouch." It is available in tan or black. ‌ Primark's full product description reads: "Here's a bag you'll want to tote around! Arriving in a warm brown colourway, our faux leather removable pouch tote bag is ideal for smart occasions where optimal storage is key. "Featuring two short top handles, the bag opens to reveal a roomy interior complete with a separate, detachable pouch to help your keep your belongings neat and organised." The designer product description states: "Crafted with supple full-grain leather, which is distinguished by its naturally smooth finish, Lauren Ralph Lauren's iconic Marcy satchel features an array of pockets for storing your essentials. ‌ "Designed with a sleek, streamlined silhouette, this timeless bag is embellished with an 'LRL' metal logo at the front for a heritage-inspired finish." Boden's 'comfy' leopard print shoes that 'make an outfit feel special' now 15% off

The statement Mary Jane shoes are ideal for adding a pop of colour to any outfit Fashion fans who love bold prints and are looking to add to their summer footwear collection are sure to fall head over heels with Boden's leopard print Flexi Mary Janes. The classic shoe has been given a modern twist with a vibrant animal pattern edged with soft pink. Available in sizes 36 (UK 3.5) to 42 (UK 8.5), the footwear usually retails at £55, however shoppers can get 15% off for a limited time with the discount code W7CX. This brings the price of the statement shoes down to £46.75. The Flexi Mary Janes are ideal for adding a pop of colour to any outfit, whether it's a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, or a smock dress. Boden says the shoes will 'raise a smile' whenever the wearer looks down at their feet. For shoppers who prefer a plain shoe, Boden also sells the footwear in plain red with the same soft pink edging. It's worth noting, however, that this colour option is currently sold out in a few sizes, highlighting the popularity of the Mary Janes. Boden isn't the only retailer selling quirky leopard print footwear at a discounted price. Clarks is offering the Emelina Gem Leopard Print ballet pumps on sale for £26, reduced from £40. These are available in sizes 3 to 8 and have a delicate buckle strap. Next is selling leopard print Forever Comfort Ballerinas Shoes in standard and wide fits for £22. They come in sizes three to nine and have built-in padding and memory foam, offering 'endless comfort'. One delighted shopper who has already added Boden's Flexi Mary Janes to their footwear collection shared: "Gorgeous shoes, super comfy even walking quite long distances. They make an everyday outfit feel that little bit special." "These are cute, comfortable fabric shoes," wrote another happy buyer. "Great to have a soft, light shoe for summer. I love Mary Janes and find sandals don't work for me." However, they did go on to note: "I am usually a size 40, so bought that. Even looking at these shoes, they seem more like a 39." Someone else found the leopard print Flexi Mary Janes to be 'not true to size', as they explained: "Pretty, nice shoes but unfortunately having to return these… I'm usually a 39/40, I ordered the 40 but they pinch across the top of my foot and are rubbing at the back. I may order a 41 if there's another sale on." In contrast, a five-star review reads: "Very cool shoe. So comfortable and snazzy."
