President Sisi Receives Iranian Foreign Minister

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Cairo on Monday as part of an official visit during which he will hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials.
Araghchi arrived in Cairo, on Sunday evening, as part of the two countries' efforts to enhance political consultations and expand bilateral cooperation, Tasnim News Agency reported.
The Iranian official's visit focuses on exploring prospects for developing relations between Tehran and Cairo, discussing regional issues and the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people, in addition to a number of international issues of mutual interest.
This visit comes amidst rapid regional developments and a mutual desire of the two countries to resume communication channels and coordinate positions on strategic issues in the region.

CAIRO, June 3 (MENA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate's Affairs stressed the importance of full compliance with the laws governing travel, immigration and residence for the entry and stay of foreigners in all world countries. This is meant to avoid any legal consequences that may result from violating these laws, including imposing fines, terminating residency, or deportation and banning from future entry, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. This fell within the framework of the Egyptian state's keenness to protect the rights of its citizens abroad and ensure their safety. The ministry urged citizens to abide by the duration of the visa granted to them to stave off any legal consequences. The ministry emphasized that it will continue to provide all aspects of support for all Egyptian citizens abroad and protect their interests and legal rights, within the framework of mutual respect for laws with all world countries. Common Egyptian, Iranian will to enhance cooperation in various fields, FM Araghchi

CAIRO - 3 June 2025: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that his meeting on Monday with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was 'very good', noting that it was his fourth meeting with the Egyptian president in the past ten months, in addition to two other meetings between the Iranian and Egyptian presidents during the same period. During an interview Al Qahera News Channel, Araghchi said that the meeting tackled serious and important issues. 'We spoke in detail about a number of regional issues, including the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, and I listened to President Sisi's perspective on this matter,' Iranian Foreign Minister said. 'We also discussed bilateral relations between Iran and Egypt, and I noted the shared will of both sides to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields,' He added. Araghchi stated that it was also agreed to hold political consultations at the foreign minister level between Egypt and Iran, to include bilateral, regional, and international issues. He continued: 'On the international level, we share many commonalities, as we cooperate in a number of international organizations. Regarding regional issues, we have convergent views, particularly regarding the Palestinian issue and the rights of the Palestinian people, in addition to the situations in Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon, and the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States. We have agreed to hold consultations on all these issues.' Regarding bilateral relations, the minister explained that an agreement was reached to enhance trade cooperation between the two countries. 'We also agreed to enhance economic cooperation, especially in the field of tourism, as we decided to raise the level of tourism relations and encourage exchange of visits between the two countries' peoples.'Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said
