Emergency services scrambled to the scene in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire on Sunday morning.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a man died at the scene.
Both girls were rushed to hospital, where the youngest sadly died.
Detective Inspector Paul Greatorex said: "We are continuing to work with colleagues at the fire service to investigate this dreadfully sad incident which has resulted in a father and daughter losing their lives.
"Extensive enquiries have been ongoing since yesterday and we have been working to locate and support relatives of the victims both here and outside of the UK at what is clearly an awful time for the family.
"While our enquiries remain ongoing we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances regarding the cause of the fire and will be preparing a file for the coroner in due course.
"Our support for the family involved clearly also still continues."

Three cricket clubs suspended after person ‘hit by ball in car park'

'I got a call about two weeks ago to say that the top field is going to be closed because of an incident which is right next to the cricket pitch,' Ayris said. 'We got a call out of the blue to say cricket's been suspended until a meeting at the end of June because it's too dangerous. 'We believe this sets an incredibly worrying precedent for any team that play their matches in a public space. Cricket was suspended without any consultation with the three teams who play there and without any effort to investigate the allegation.' Oaklands Cricket Club have made a formal complaint to Danbury Parish Council. Rory Carlton, the honorary secretary of Danbury Cricket Club, said that none of those playing for or against Danbury during the game when the alleged incident occurred had any recollection of a member of the public being hit. According to the accident log, the incident occurred at 1pm, 10 minutes before Danbury's match began that day. 'Neither Danbury CC or their opposition – Burnham and South Woodham CC – witnessed any member of the public being struck by a ball during or before the match,' Carlton said. 'Following the alleged incident I was informed by Danbury Parish Council that they 'didn't realise somebody could be struck by a cricket ball and thus the risk profile had changed', which I and any reasonable person would surely find incredulous.' Ayris also said that Oaklands Cricket Club had posted a link to their petition on the Danbury Village community page on Facebook, which was deleted within hours. 'We haven't cancelled cricket' Michelle Harper, parish clerk at Danbury Parish Council, told Telegraph Sport that the suspension of cricket was only temporary. 'At the moment, the council has suspended cricket while it carries out a further health and safety review,' Parish said. 'We decided to close the top car park where the cricket is played – hopefully as a short-term measure. 'It's suspended until June 23, when the council will have a formal council meeting to decide on the mitigation that it needs to put in place so that cricket can continue. 'It's really important that people understand that we haven't cancelled cricket. All we've done is suspend cricket while we are carrying out both investigations and looking at mitigation for the health and safety of everybody who uses the field. We haven't cancelled cricket, which I think is a lot of people's fear.' Ayris told Telegraph Sport that Danbury Parish Council has persistently complained about the cost of cricket. 'Every time we have a meeting before the season and post-season, they say that cricket is a financial burden on the parish council and that we have to give them reasons to carry on,' he said. Harper added: 'The council has always supported cricket in the time I've been here.'

Rough sleeping to be decriminalised with 1824 law finally scrapped

Rough sleeping will no longer be a crime in the UK as the government abolishes a 'cruel' 200-year-old law. The Vagrancy Act 1824 was introduced amid a spiralling homelessness crisis after the Industrial Revolution. Most of the act has been repealed, though some are still in force in England and Wales to police begging and rough sleeping. But the government announced today it will scrap the bill 'for good' by Spring next year. On any given night last autumn, 4,667 people were sleeping rough, a 164% increase from 2010, according to official figures. In 2023, 298 people were convicted under the act. The Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner said: 'We are drawing a line under nearly two centuries of injustice towards some of the most vulnerable in society, who deserve dignity and support. More Trending 'No one should ever be criminalised simply for sleeping rough and by scrapping this cruel and outdated law, we are making sure that can never happen again.' Matt Downie, chief executive of Crisis, said: 'This is a landmark moment that will change lives and prevent thousands of people from being pushed into the shadows, away from safety. 'For 200 years, the Vagrancy Act has meant that people who are homeless are treated as criminals and second-class citizens. It has punished people for trying to stay safe and done nothing to address why people become homeless in the first place. 'Ending the use of the Vagrancy Act recognises a shameful history of persecuting people for poverty and destitution, something that figures like William Wilberforce and Winston Churchill warned against in their opposition to the Act.' ‘Super Sperm Donor' TV star ‘recreated alleged sex attack', court told

The court heard how he jetted off to the Philippines to donate sperm to a couple in October 2022 Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A RAPE accused told a jury how he's recreated the alleged sex attack with his latest girlfriend. Mitchell Kennedy, 42, is alleged to have pounced on his ex in her own bedroom as she tried to dump him. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Mitchell Kennedy is accused of raping his partner after she tried to dump him But as he gave evidence in his own defence, the dad-of-two rubbished the claims and told the jury it would be impossible for him to do what he's been accused of. He said: 'She said we had sex with her on top. I held her by her hips. 'It's ridiculous. It's nonsense. I tried it out with my partner. There is no way a man can hold a woman on top of him. 'It's all an attention seeking thing. It is a horrendous experience she has put herself through with these false allegations. 'Why would anyone do this? It's hell for her as well. I believe it's the process that has traumatised her.' We told how Mitchell, from Aberdeen, appeared in a TV show called Britain's Super Sperm Donors. His trial at the High Court in the city heard he jetted off to the Philippines to donate to a couple in October 2022. He told the court the week-long trip came a day after he returned from a disappointing break to Majorca with his ex-girlfriend, who's 23. A pal of the woman told jurors: 'He went to the Philippines for what I believe to be a sperm donation. 'When he got back that was the end of the relationship because she didn't trust him.' Moment evil soldier who raped woman in town centre is caught cowering in toilet The trial was told the woman summoned him to her flat to split with him in November 2022 after he avoided seeing her for three weeks. A concerned flatmate claimed they heard the couple kissing and arguing through the door but they couldn't get her to leave the room. They then got a family member to contact her and falsely claim they had hurt themselves to get her away from Mitchell. The accused told the jury the woman was actually keen to save the relationship after problems during the rocky holiday to Majorca. Mitchell claimed the pair had consensual sex and he left thinking they were still a couple while her flatmates were up to a 'stupid game'. He said: 'It had gone better than I thought it would. 'We made love. I was in a good mood. I was happy. I wasn't concerned about what the game was.' Under cross examination from prosecutor David Logan he accused his ex of lying about what had happened. He said: 'She had backed herself into a corner. Making me out to be some kind of baddie. She's then having to juggle these two contrasting situations.' Mitchell was cleared of verbally and physically abusing his ex. He denies raping her. The trial before Judge Graham Buchanan continues.
