Billie Eilish Teams Up With ‘Avatar' Director James Cameron for 3D Project
'So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,' Billie told the audience during her performance. 'Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron...and it's going to be in 3D.'
The Grammy and Oscar winner revealed that the iconic director behind blockbuster hits like Titanic and the Avatar franchise happened to be among the fans in the crowd.
'Take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying,' she shared before jokingly revealing that she'll be outfit repeating for her next few shows on tour.
Billie added, 'So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.'
Naturally, the internet went crazy as the announcement made waves on social media, and fans are theorizing that the artist and director are joining forces for a 3D concert film following the success of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.
'The way no one else is giving music, visuals, & literal cinema, oh billie the greatest artist of all time you are!' one fan wrote in response to the news, while another added, 'this might clear every concert film we've ever had, oh we are seated!'
Others theorized that some crowd work might be featured in the project, as a member of Billie's team allegedly passed audience members a camera during her show on July 19.
'Just saying… billie's team gave my friends a camcorder and told them to record their faces during the show… something crazy is about to happen (imagine it's a new song),' one social post read ahead of the announcement.
Billie has been on the road in support of her Grammy-nominated third album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, since last fall. Her shows will continue with dates across Europe in Japan before she kicks off a second North American leg in Miami on October 9.
While other details surrounding her collaboration with James Cameron are slim, we already know we're ready for whatever comes from the legendary duo.

In new A24 movie 'Eternity,' Elizabeth Olsen must choose between 2 dead husbands
When you die, should you spend eternity with your first husband or your last? That's the question at the center of 'Eternity' — watch the trailer now. Picture this: You die and get to choose how you want to spend forever — which includes your one true love. Sounds pretty sweet, right? Unfortunately, in the case of the new A24 movie Eternity, which dropped its first trailer on Tuesday, the sweet hereafter comes with a catch: You have two dead husbands, and they're both vying for a spot next to you in the afterlife. Eep! Eternity stars Elizabeth Olsen as Joan, the woman in question, who dies shortly after the death of her second husband, Larry, played by Miles Teller. But while Teller's character is eager to get a jump on the rest of their immortal lives, his wife's first husband, Luke, played by The Boys in the Boat actor Callum Turner, appears. Apparently, Luke died in 'the war' decades earlier — and he's been waiting for his wife to arrive to kickstart his own eternity ever since. So, how do you pick?! While the movie will, we hope, answer that question, people who watched the new trailer offered their thoughts in the YouTube comments. Some people thought the ending was reminiscent of Titanic, in which Rose (played by Kate Winslet) seemingly spends the afterlife with her pals on the sunken ship, and her lover-of-two-days Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) instead of the husband she spent more than 40 years raising a family with. Most people, however, saw Joan picking second husband, Larry, in the end. 'Prediction: Miles Teller wins his wife by giving her his blessing to choose Callum Turner instead of him, because he just wants his wife to be happy and her new husband turns out to be too selfish to do the same, proving Miles Teller cares more about Elizabeth Olsen and that she should pick him,' one wrote. Another said, 'Not me immediately wanting to cry just thinking about how hard it is going to be for her to followed by me thinking, 'Can't all three of them just be together for eternity?'' The idea that Olsen's character may not need to choose resonated with another viewer, who wrote, 'I hope Elizabeth Olsen makes a world for all three of them.' And another joked, 'OMG imagine dying and realizing that compulsory monogamy exists even in the afterlife.' While a throuple is certainly a possibility, Teller's character doesn't believe that it's the best route. When he sees how his wife's former spouse is laying on the romance, he vows to make her remember why she fell for him in the first place. But will it be enough to get to spend eternity with his one true love? Eternity is directed by David Freyne and will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Freyne is credited as cowriter of the film along with former Obama White House aide Patrick Cunnane, whose original script appeared on the 2022 Black List of Hollywood's best unproduced screenplays. Eternity is set to hit theaters in November. Check out the trailer below: Solve the daily Crossword

Prime Video is a one-stop shop for the best video streaming subscriptions
Streaming video on demand has revolutionized the way we consume movies and TV shows, allowing us to binge-watch our favorite shows on repeat or stretch out a new season for a slow burn. The problem, however, is that nearly every hit movie or show is tied to a different app subscription. When I just want to sit down and relax, juggling multiple apps just to find a show can be a vibe killer. Thankfully, Prime Video offers a unique solution that allows us to manage multiple subscriptions and view content in one handy app. When I hear the name Prime Video, I immediately think about what the subscription streamer has to offer in the way of original content. Hit shows like Fallout and The Boys spring to mind, as well as quick access to new movies that I can rent or buy and then watch at my own leisure. Prime Video has so much more to offer, though. My friends keep telling me I should check out Yellowjackets, available on Showtime. With the Prime Video app, I can search for the series and watch teasers for the show or even an entire episode for free. If I want to keep watching, I can simply subscribe to Paramount+ within the Prime Video app and continue my binge-watching spree — all without ever needing to download and launch another app or visit a second website. I might even get lucky and find a 7-day free trial waiting for me. If Yellowjackets isn't scratching the itch, I can decide instead to check out the wholesome Emmy-winning series Ted Lasso on Apple TV+. I can subscribe to Apple TV+ right inside Prime Video (and get a good deal with a 2-month trial run at $4.99 a month, then just $9.99 a month after that.) Prime Video subscriptions provide a unique opportunity to mix and match your content to your specific tastes. Maybe you're looking for your comfort anime and just want to binge Fruits Basket on Crunchyroll (available for just 99 cents the first two months, then $11.99 a month thereafter) or maybe you want to expand your options with a blast from the past like Vampire Hunter D on HiDive. Sometimes chilling out with a PBS Documentary or BBC Select documentary can help you wind down for the night, or you can spice up your evenings with a new romance from Passionflix or Hallmark+. Regardless of where your entertainment interests lie, you can add your subscription (or subscriptions, we don't judge!) of choice to your Prime Video viewing lineup and have even more access to the best movies and shows streaming has to offer. Subscriptions on Prime Video prove you really can have it all in today's digital entertainment and streaming landscape. A simple search in the Prime Video app brings up a near-endless supply of new and classic movies, documentaries, reality TV, and award-winning series that I can't wait to tell all my friends to watch next. It's all available in one neat little hub that is easy to manage, allowing me to subscribe and unsubscribe as my tastes and viewing preferences change. The Prime Video hub makes it easy to keep track of how much I'm spending on my subscriptions so that I'm not surprised by unexpected renewals. With all these great deals on add-on subscriptions, I can feel free to try out new series and movies without any obligation for a long-term subscription. If you're tired of downloading and juggling a new app for every show you want to watch, give Prime Video subscriptions a try.

Katy Perry Spotted Out For Dinner With Justin Trudeau And... Seriously, What?!
Katy Perry has been spotted dining out with Justin Trudeau, the former prime minister of Canada. On Tuesday afternoon, TMZ published footage of the chart-topping singer and ex-world leader dining at Le Violon, a restaurant in Montreal. According to the US news outlet, the pair 'sipped cocktails and shared several dishes', while security monitored them from a nearby table. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Katy and her fiancé Orlando Bloom had parted ways around a decade after they first began dating, though they have insisted they will remain friends, and have since been photographed on holiday with their daughter, Daisy. The former Canadian PM has also been single since August 2023, when it was announced that he and his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire, had separated. While TMZ was quick to point out that it's not clear whether the two were on a 'romantic date' or 'just a friendly hang' – the sight of the California Gurls singer out for dinner with Trudeau has still managed to cause a major stir on social media. HuffPost UK has contacted Katy Perry's team for comment. It's been an interesting year for the Grammy-nominated singer, who is currently in the middle of the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes World Tour, in support of her ill-fated album 143, which was released in September 2024. Back in April, she made headlines when she and an all-female team – including American broadcaster and Jeff Bezos' then-fiancée Lauren Sánchez – briefly travelled into space, which generated plenty of conversation at the time. Months later, her rep confirmed: 'Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.' The statement added that the two will 'continue to be seen together as a family', noting their shared priority 'is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect'.
