Sony 夏季 PS5 遊戲發表會恐縮水?外媒爆內部考慮改「State of Play」節目

Yahoo17-02-2025
Sony 在上週 State of Play 上,公開了《魔物獵人 荒野》、《鬼武者 Way of the Sword》、《失落之魂》等多款新作資訊。

Sony Lost Big On KPop Demon Hunters' Record Success, Says Report

KPop Demon Hunters Netflix While KPop Demon Hunters is almost exclusively associated with Netflix as it sets record after record across two different industries, streaming and music, few may know who actually developed and produced the film, Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Enter the Spider-Verse (you may see some similarities to that style here). The film is a colossal hit, so surely that must be working out great for Sony, right? Well, not so much. According to industry fixture Matt Belloni, the problem is how this original deal was structured. Sony made KPop Demon Hunters for $100 million, then sold the rights to Netflix. Now, reports are that Sony will end up making just $20 million in profit on the deal thanks to those terms, as anything that happens from here, that's all Netflix, since they own the property. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix At the time, that probably sounded like a deal that was just fine. It's a good movie, it would be fed into the Netflix conveyer belt of content, be watched, and everyone will praise it for a weekend and move on. But the rest is history, of course. As I write this, Kpop Demon Hunters remains the #1 movie on Netflix seven weeks after release, something we've never seen before. It has been elevated to Netflix's second most-viewed movie ever, and it has its sights set on #1, Red Notice . It has placed at #1 on almost every top music chart with its fictional group HUNTR/X's track Golden, most recently achieving the ultimate prize, landing at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the first Kpop group to do so, and the first girl group to do so since Destiny's Child. Netflix reportedly views KPop Demon Hunters as its ' Frozen ' equivalent, Disney's billion dollar franchise. While KPop Demon Hunters is not making bank at the box office, it's a huge success in Netflix terms and that will spawn at least a trilogy of movies, and there are rumblings of a live-action adaptation or even a stage show. Live-action may seem a bit goofy and antithetical to the concept, but the singing voices of the three girls are essentially those characters in real life, appearance-wise, so that helps. As for Sony, its involvement in what happens from here is unclear. Netflix, of course, needs someone to make these future movies, and while Sony largely missed out on the success of this first film, I imagine that will not slip away the second or third time around. We have no announcements of what's coming next for KPop Demon Hunters , and that may be why. I've asked Sony for comment and will report if I hear back. PlayStation launches massive Gamescom sale with PS5 and PS4 games from $4 — here's 12 deals I'd buy this weekend

Gamescom 2025 kicks off next week, and to mark the annual video game trade show, PlayStation Store has launched a new sales event with deals on PS5 and PS4 games starting from just $4. The deals include big savings on new releases like Monster Hunter Wilds and Days Gone Remastered, as well as some classics dropping to rock-bottom prices, including Alien Isolation, and now is the perfect time to play with "Alien: Earth" debuting on FX/Hulu earlier this week. I'm rounding up my favorite deals in the new PlayStation Store sale down below, and I've also found some epic deals at Amazon to give you even more choices ahead of a whole weekend of PlayStation gaming. In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, you'll control Aiden Caldwell, a skilled survivor searching for his lost sister in a city overrun with zombies. The game focuses on parkour, combat and making choices that impact the story and the fate of the city's factions. Plus, it's been consistently updated with new content since its initial launch in spring 2022. Experience the original Dead Rising with improved graphics across the board in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. This upgraded version of the 2006 classic sees you play as Frank West as he investigates the nightmare situation at Williamette Parkview Mall. Along the way, you'll rescue survivors and defeat memorable bosses, and also fight your way through an entire horde of undead zombies. Final Fantasy XVI is a mature, action-focused reinvention of Square Enix's long-running RPG franchise that spins a yarn closer to "Game of Thrones" than any of the previous entries. In FF16, you play Clive Rosfield, son of the Duke of Rosaria. After a tragic opening, you're forced to become a "Bearer" for another ruler, and set off for a gripping tale that's laden with twists, wielding all kinds of powers in precise, real-time battles as you travel the length and breadth of Valisthea. Sonic X Shadow Generations combines a remaster of 2011's Sonic Generations, a love letter to the Blue Blur that remains a fan-favorite to this day, with a new Shadow-focused campaign. It's a strong package, and it's perfectly timed to coincide with the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, which is now available to watch on streaming, so you can have a whole Sonic X Shadow-themed weekend. We're in a golden age of horror remakes, and Silent Hill 2 is among the very best. This stunning new take on the survival-horror classic sees you step into the fog-blanketed town as James Sunderland, a man on the hunt for his missing wife. Tense and atmospheric, it's fantastic. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the game the PS5 was born to play. In this stylish intergalactic adventure, you'll take control of seasoned heroes Ratchet and Clank — as well as their distaff counterparts, Rivet and Kit. With 10 huge planets to explore, tons of weapons to customize and upgrade, a variety of enemies to fight, and plenty of puzzles to solve, Rift Apart is an absolute joy from start to finish. Kingdom Come Deliverance II is a vast RPG sequel that sees you once again step into the boots of Henry, a young nobleman on a quest for revenge in medieval Bohemia. Designed to be as immersive as possible, the world reacts to your actions, and most quests can be completed in a myriad of ways. Its more restrictive elements may be off-putting to some players, but if you're looking for a sprawling quest that gives you plenty of freedom, few do it better than KCDII. Returnal is a heart-pounding PS5 game that combines bullet-hell gameplay with an engaging roguelike structure. You play an astronaut stuck in a time loop on a mysterious and very deadly alien planet. It's your job to break the cycle and unravel the mystery of this strange new world and how you came to be stranded here. Long before Elden Ring, Bloodborne and Dark Souls, From Software released Demon's Souls, the first Souls title to truly establish the core gameplay loop that has taken the gaming world by storm. For the current generation, Sony had Bluepoint develop this faithful, beautiful remaster, which improves on the original title and updates it with amazing graphics, new weapons, and items. Split Fiction is a co-op adventure where two writers, Mio and Zoe, get trapped in a chaotic mix of their own stories. One minute, you're dodging cyber ninjas, the next, you're riding dragons. It's all about teamwork, solving puzzles, and navigating wild genre mashups to escape their own imaginations. Metaphor ReFantazio, an original fantasy adventure that combines social sim elements with stylish turn-based combat, comes from the creator of the acclaimed Persona series. Yes, it's basically Persona in a fantasy setting, but that's a recipe for success, and Metaphor easily gets its hooks into you. It's also meaty, with even a rushed playthrough taking several dozen hours.

This gaming headset's killer feature solved my biggest PS5 and PC annoyance — and the price is just right

When I finally call it a day and kick back to play the latest games on my PC or PS5, nothing quite beats drowning out the world and getting fully immersed with one of the best gaming headsets. After the best way to experience audio while gaming without disrupting your neighbours? Look no further than the best wireless gaming headsets for clear, detailed sound, plenty of unique features and a comfy fit for those long gaming sessions. Well, mainly to keep the racket down so my neighbors can actually get a wink of sleep. Gaming can be one loud hobby, especially when I'm firing off rounds in Doom: The Dark Ages, pulling off Hadokens in Street Fighter 6 or simply grooving to the battle tunes of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (if you've played, you know). A quality gaming headset channels that noise straight to your ears through clear, distinct audio — or at least the best of them do, and my ears (and neighbors) are thankful for that. But after years of trying different headsets, one thing has bugged me. Different games rely on different mixes of sound. Some are more fine-tuned for a pumping, heavy bass, others require more focus on softer sounds in stealth-based titles, and then there are games that simply need that loud, bombastic volume. I've been burned by gaming headsets in the past that simply deliver the same level of sound mixing no matter what title I played on PS5 and PC, and there are no adjustable equalizer settings to fix the problem. Easily one of the best wireless gaming headsets for your PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch and more, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless knocks it out of the park thanks to its very comfortable memory foam earcups and incredibly immersive sound quality. With over 200 audio presets for specific games, too, this is a great gaming headset to nab. Oh, and there are multiple color options, too! Well, I found the remedy to my woes. I recently got a hold of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless, a seriously impressive pair of cans in a funky lavender colorway (there are other colors, too) that boast extreme comfort, 40mm Neodymium drivers for immersive audio and handy multi-platform compatibility. It's a superb headset, but its true knockout feature is a simple one: the Arctis Companion app. With a simple tap, I can get a game-tailored EQ preset for over 200 specific games and even genres, matching what a title should sound like instead of the usual flat audio you can get in many gaming headsets. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. No, it's not exclusive to the Arctis Nova 3 Wireless, as it also works on the excellent SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 and Arctis Gamebuds, but for the price of $109, it's a premium feature that offers huge value for all types of gamers. I'm the type of gamer who listens to OSTs of some of my favorite (and even not-so-favorite) titles frequently, from the haunting tunes of Bloodborne to the triumphant sounds of Halo. But I also get chills when a game perfectly executes the resounding rattle of a pump-action shotgun shell falling to the floor or a creepy shriek from a monster hiding in plain sight. So, audio is an important aspect of many games I play. There are many gaming headsets that can capture all this, but not quite so specifically and easily as the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless. Using the Arctis Companion app on an iPhone or Android, you can easily choose from a plethora of game-tailored EQ presets when connected to your preferred platform (with the Nova 3P I have being best for PC and PS5). It covers many of the biggest and latest titles, from Counter-Strike to Cyberpunk 2077 to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II to Alan Wake 2. Heck, there's even Doki Doki Literature Club! and No Rest for the Wicked — and that's still in early access! In many of these presets, especially when compared to the base Flat preset, there's a clear difference in what I could hear. This became apparent when playing Black Myth: Wukong, hearing each satisfying "thwack" of the Destined One's staff connecting to all the creatures he encounters while listening to the headless singer's surprisingly upbeat tunes as he strums on his Chinese lute. Everything sounds far more pronounced, and it makes delving into the game even more eventful. Hearing specific cues to dodge blows helped me save myself from getting a pummeling, too, and that worked in another very timing-sensitive game as well: Expedition 33. Of course, it also makes the soundtracks of games like Doom: The Dark Ages far more headbanging worthy, which I will always appreciate. But I also found it had the right balance of the bullet-hell mayhem and tunes while slaying demons in each level. It's a fantastic app for precise, handpicked sound for plenty of titles, and equalizer presets can all be customized and mixed yourself by using the SteelSeries GG app for Windows and macOS (unfortunately, it's not available to use on the smartphone app itself). Alright, having over 200 EQ presets for games is a tad overkill, and I found quite a few overlap with many titles that barely change the bass, mids and highs. In fact, as my colleague Nikita rightfully touched on, some simply make the games that much louder. I tested this out myself by comparing the Flat preset with the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 custom EQ preset, and sure enough, the game sounded similar to how it usually would — only with slightly sharper gunshot sounds. That said, with this and an almost cheat-sheet worthy "FPS Footsteps" preset, hearing enemy footsteps approaching did sound far clearer. Even if not all the EQ presets offer the specific audio I'd hope for, many of the PS5 and PC titles I tried had the audio I've always been after. It's detailed, crisp audio that's been made for each of the games I play, even if it may be a subtle difference. Now, when I'm kicking back to play the best PS5 games or best PC games, I'm getting fine-tuned audio for the frantic FPS titles, horror-filled third-person shooters, epic single-player narratives and more — tailored to those specific genres and games. That means no more jack-of-all-trades audio. That's not to say many other gaming headsets don't offer customizable EQ settings, as the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro also provides a wealth of audio customization. But for its price, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless has a nifty audio trick up its sleeve. Follow Tom's Guide on Google News to get our up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews in your feeds.
