While it is understood the show is not yet attached to a channel, Iain has firmly declared it is in "his power" to bring it back and has already begun to reconnect with those who worked on the show in 1999.
Iain hopes to have the new series on air in 2026.
He said of the show's return: 'Loads of you for years have been asking me to bring back The 11 O'Clock Show and I didn't think it was within my gift.
"I thought it had to be a channel or something," he said, as per the Daily Star.
Iain continued: 'But it is within my power to do it. So next year I will be bringing back Iain Lee's The 11 O'Clock Show.
"I'm not quite sure how it's going to work yet, but I am talking to a few people who were connected to the show and we have got a few ideas bubbling around and it will be very rude, very funny, very 1999.'
The show first launched in 1998 before coming to a close just two years later.
While it has a number of presenters across its five-series run, Iain hosted the first four of them and was largely credited with its success.
He worked alongside Daisy Donovan for three editions of the show.
Jon Homes and Sarah Alexanders took over for the final series of the show before it was axed.
Iain Lee says his life has changed after coming out as bisexual on Good Morning Britain
It is known for launching the careers of stars including Sacha Baron Cohen and his character Ali G as well as Ricky Gervais.
After leaving the show, Iain focused on radio broadcasting and could be heard across many major networks.
He took part in I'm A Celebrity in 2017 but later took a step back from media work in 2020 to focus on training to become a counsellor.
Iain was inspired to follow his new career path after struggles with addiction, sobriety and his sexuality.

The pensioner from Windsor in Berkshire is described online as an actor and retired pilot. He has been in custody for six months and spent time in a mental health facility. Appleton was due to stand trial, with special measures put in place to mitigate Friel's "fear and distress" while giving evidence. However, this was called off after he performed a U-turn and admitted to stalking the Channel 4 star. Yesterday, Reading Crown Court heard Appleton has been diagnosed with a condition called erotomania, along with bipolar. Erotomania is characterised by a person's delusions of another person being in love with them, and usually affects women rather than men. It usually fixates on someone of a higher social status or a celebrity, but can extend to someone who is fictional or has died. A psychiatrist told the court Appleton would need to be monitored by mental health professionals and he was unable to say if his fixation would ever end. Judge Alan Blake asked probation services to prepare a report on Appleton, and said he had a 'lack of full understanding and acknowledgement of the impact of his behaviour on the victim'. He said: 'It is more likely [that] consistent treatment will help him to contain his feeling and reduce the risk of stalking. It is plain that, on a number of occasions, Mr Appleton has indicated that he does not think he is unwell or needs to take his medication and has desisted in so doing.' Appleton was granted bail on the condition he not contact the actress or enter the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The judge declined to allow him to stay at an address in France, instead ordering him to remain at a family member's home in Suffolk. The pensioner is due to be sentenced on September 18. Friel rose to fame with her role as Beth Jordache in Channel 4 soap opera Brookside - making history for sharing the first-ever, pre-watershed lesbian kiss. She went on to star as Charlotte "Chuck" Charles in the ABC comedy series Pushing Daisies. In 2017, she won the International Emmy for Best Actress for her leading role in the ITV and Netflix series Marcella.

All BBC Casualty spoilers for this week as legend is accused of drug theft
This week's episode of Casualty picks up where we left off in the previous instalment. Indie Jankowski (Naomi Wakszlak) was last seen with her friend Badger, unaware that she was in real danger. She makes contact with the ambulance team tomorrow as she wakes up and finds Badger in a bad way. Paramedics attend, but this situation leads to Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) making a discovery about the drugs theft and tampering currently going on in the hospital. He makes a realisation about someone very close to him – but is he right? Also, Nicole Piper (Sammy T Dobson) makes a decision about an upcoming funeral, and a friendship may be forming between Flynn Byron (Olly Rix) and another doctor. Who would've thought? Here's all your spoilers for this week's episode of Casualty. The ambulance service receives a call from Indie, who is worried about her pal Badger, who has collapsed on the floor and is unresponsive. Once Iain and Teddy (Milo Clarke) arrive, Badger is loaded into their ambulance. Iain is disappointed to learn that Teddy joined Indie and Badger in taking the dodgy pills the night before. At the hospital, Cam (Barney Walsh) tells Indie that he's relieved she's safe. After a brief misunderstanding, he tells Indie that he's glad she isn't in a relationship with Badger, and it looks as though the two will actually get together. Later in the day, Indie manages to reconcile with Jan (Di Botcher), who informs Indie that there's a vacancy within the Holby ambulance service that she can take if she likes. After handing Badger over at the ED, Iain is approached by Jacob (Charles Venn), who requests a favour of a couple of grand without any explanation. Later on, Iain finds Teddy stealing heart medication from a recently deceased patient called Amos. Teddy explains to Iain that his heart problems have returned, but he hasn't been able to get hold of his medication since the recent shortages. Teddy knows that Amos' medication would've been destroyed, and doesn't want to lose HART's interest in him as a result of his health issues. While the development leaves Iain taken aback, he's able to work out that Teddy isn't the person stealing the morphine. Meanwhile, Faith (Kirsty Mitchell) remains convinced that one of the paramedics is responsible for the drugs tampering. She grows suspicious of Jacob when he hands over a patient in a wave of pain, and begins to question whether he's being truthful about the amount of morphine he's administering. Before the shift ends Iain tells the team that hospital grade morphine is being sold on the Holby's streets. Immediately after this, Jacob walks away. Once Faith raises her suspicions about Jacob to Iain, he's faced with the fact his best mate must be the one stealing the morphine. Nicole tends to an unconscious Hugo Atkinson, who is injured after being stabbed and falling down a flight of stairs. Hugo is accompanied by wife Kate and their young son Elias. Suspicions begin to rise, however, when Nicole realises Kate has a bruise on his arm that suggests she's been grabbed. Once Elias comments on whether his dad has become poorly because he shouted at his mum, the story behind Hugo's condition begins to unravel. Hugo dies in resus, and Kate reveals that she stabbed her partner after he threatened to take Elias away – because of her recurring drug habit. As Elias is taken into care, the situation makes Nicole change her mind about attending Maggie's funeral. She ignores Cassie's warnings and arrives at the church, and even decides to speak in front of Maggie's loved ones. Nicole says that she never trusted anyone until she met Maggie and, in a cathartic moment between the two of them later, Cassie accepts Nicole's help to get away from the drugs gang. Despite the rocky dynamic, Dylan Keogh (William Beck) believes that he and Flynn can unite on the written proposal on how to tackle the growing drugs crisis. More Trending Flynn puts some time aside to look over Dylan's proposal, but throws the document back on his desk when he realises the proposal is 68 pages long! Overwhelmed with demands from all directions, Flynn lies to Dylan and says that he's read the proposal, and then grants him permission to implement his plans. Things turn quickly, however, when Flynn overhears Dylan discussing a guilt-free amnesty with a patient. Flynn reacts by rebuking Dylan for stretching the ED's resources and giving into drug addicts, causing Dylan to realise that Flynn never actually read his proposal. After the bulletin is released that outlines morphine being sold on the streets, Flynn eventually admits that Dylan was right – they need to do something. Flynn decides that the amnesty can start and Dylan can lead it. Dylan feels surprised by the sudden change of heart, but is glad they're both on the same page at last. She went on to star as Charlotte "Chuck" Charles in the ABC comedy series Pushing Daisies. In 2017, she won the International Emmy for Best Actress for her leading role in the ITV and Netflix series Marcella. What is erotomania? Erotomania, also known as de Clérambault's syndrome, is when you think someone is in love with you but they're not. The subject of the person's delusion is often a celebrity or someone of a higher social status. It's a rare psychiatric condition, and can even focus on a fictional character or someone who has died. They may believe that the person is communicating with them and affirming their love using secret messages. It tends to affect women more than men, and can occur alongside other mental health conditions. Behaviour includes persistent efforts to make contact through stalking, written communication, and other harassing behaviours. It can sometimes be triggered by the targeted person making it known that the attention is not wanted.
