Saiyaara Trailer: Ahaan Panday And Aneet Padda's Film Is A Treat For Aashiqui 2 Fans

News1808-07-2025
Saiyaara trailer drops! Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda shine in this Mohit Suri romantic drama packed with passion, heartbreak & a chart-topping soundtrack.
The much-awaited trailer of Saiyaara has finally dropped, and it will surely remind you of two iconic films: Aashiqui 2 by Mohit Suri himself and Ranbir Kapoor's cult classic Rockstar. The trailer hits all the right chords — from the perfect background music and a soul-stirring love story to a song that makes you close your eyes and sway. In short, Saiyaara's trailer proves it's a classic Mohit Suri film in every sense.
The trailer opens with debutant Ahaan Panday putting up a strong fight, challenging what many today call 'nepotism'. It then transports us into a world of love, showcasing the character arcs of Ahaan and Aneet Padda, and ultimately ends in heartbreak. While Ahaan looks like a macho newcomer building his career as a singer, Aneet plays an innocent songwriter. The 2-minute 44-second-long trailer leaves viewers eager for more.
Mohit Suri revealed that he is humbled by the love the film is receiving, especially since he had almost given up on making Saiyaara with newcomers. He admitted, 'I didn't come across debutants with acting calibre," but was glad to have found Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who lived up to his expectations with their sheer talent.
He added, 'I wouldn't have made Saiyaara if I hadn't found formidable actors like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. I was honestly thinking about making something else before my path crossed with Yash Raj Films, which was looking for a young love story and was grooming Ahaan and Aneet to star in such a film."
The much-anticipated romantic drama brings together Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri — two names synonymous with timeless love stories — for the first time!
Saiyaara has already delivered what many are calling the best album of the year, featuring chart-topping songs like Faheem-Arslan's Saiyaara title track, Jubin Nautiyal's Barbaad, Vishal Mishra's Tum Ho Toh, Sachet-Parampara's Humsafar, and Arijit Singh & Mithoon's Dhun.
Set to release in theatres on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara promises a heartfelt narrative built on love, identity, and emotional depth. With the trailer now out, all eyes are on Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda as they gear up for their silver screen debut under YRF's prestigious banner.

Dhadak 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhant Chaturvedi And Triptii Dimri's Film Earns Less Than Rs 2 Crore On First Monday

New Delhi: Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2 saw a dip in its box office collection on its first Monday. On day 4, the movie earned Rs 1.40 crore in the domestic market, according to a Sacnilk report. The film had an overall 14.26% Hindi occupancy on August 4. With this, Dhadak 2 's total collection now stands at Rs 12.80 crore. The film is facing stiff competition at the box office from other titles like Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2, the animated film Mahavatar Narsimha, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara and Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom. In terms of numbers, Saiyaara holds a strong lead. The film, which hit the theatres on July 18, is having a phenomenal run at the box office. More than two weeks into its release, the film raked in Rs 2.50 crore on its third Monday. The numbers swiftly outpaced Dhadak 2 's four-day collection. As per Sacnilk, Saiyaara 's total collection stands at Rs 302.25 crore. Dhadak 2 narrates the story of a romance between two law students, Neelesh and Vidhi, who face opposition and harassment from society due to their caste differences. In an interview with PTI, Triptii Dimri talked about the film's message. The actress said, "It should reach the maximum audience because it's entertaining and also leaves a little note, so that is something which we are constantly looking for. We found that equilibrium... There is something real and sensitive about it ('Dhadak 2'). All of these guys have more responsibility, and they are very well aware of that. That's why they have been very quiet about everything, like while we were shooting for the film, even the censor board issues, we never spoke about anything." Dhadak 2 is directed by Shazia Iqbal. The film is a sequel to Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak.

So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good.'

However, Mohit take the modest route, and refuses to take credit for their success. The director spoke with IANS to celebrate the success of his latest release 'Saiyaara', which has become a rage turning its lead pair of Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday into overnight stars. Mohit refrains from calling himself a "kingmaker". He told IANS, "I don't believe you can make talent. You can discover a talent. It's like a star, it always existed in the sky, millions of light years away, the light was taking some time to reach you. And you finally reached you and you discovered it on your telescope. You didn't create it, it was always there, it was there before you. It is all the talent of singers that I've found. If I didn't find them, someone would have. I discover something but I don't create it. Talent has to be found". He further mentioned, "I cannot give talent to someone who doesn't have it. So my job is that to find a Faheem, find an Arijit from all over the globe and even when it comes to composers, I mean there are many people that I don't even want to mention who got a break somewhere else but I've supported them, people who I met long back and I knew they were going to do well". "So I just feel in fact what that makes me realise and when they especially do well is I feel validated", he added.
