Butlin's revamp holiday park and prices start at £69

The discount can be used on the revamped Bognor Regis resort where a soft play centre and puppet theatre have been unveiled
Butlin's is offering a huge summer sale across all of its holidays throughout 2025 and 2026, with discounts of up to 40% waiting to be snapped up. This includes Midweek Showtime breaks at Bognor Regis starting from £69 in June, Summer Holidays Feat Stephen Mulhern 3-night getaways from £352, and special Justin Fletcher Tots Breaks priced from just £79 in September.
The Bognor Regis resort has recently been revamped, with Butlin's pulling out all the stops for holidaymakers this summer. The company's largest-ever indoor Soft Play centre and a brand-new Puppet Theatre have been unveiled at the resort.
The new attractions are already proving a hit with families nationwide, with thousands more predicted to descend during the school holidays. The new soft play centre sprawls over 3,000 square feet across four floors, accommodating up to 200 lively little explorers at once - that's double the capacity of the previous attraction.
Access to the play area is included in the cost of a family break and day passes. Catering to children of all ages, the Skyline Soft Play is divided into three zones, each themed around the vibrant characters of the beloved Butlin's Skyline Gang. Each character has their own dedicated section brimming with slides, climbing challenges, log ramps, cargo nets and more, plus a generous multi-sensory area for babies.
For parents needing a breather while the kids play, there's a cosy new 100-seat café area where they can unwind with a brew. As reported by Bristol Live, this latest addition to the soft play centre follows hot on the heels of last year's opening of the £15 million PLAYXPERIENCE - a cutting-edge 50,000 square feet immersive gaming attraction.
The West Sussex resort has welcomed another exciting addition alongside its soft play centre - a brand-new Puppet Theatre. This enchanting venue will showcase captivating, family-friendly string puppet shows, with new productions like Under The Sea, Jingle in the Jungle, and Christmouse giving guests a glimpse into the magical world that awaits them this year.
In a bid to make holidays more affordable for families, the puppet shows are complimentary for those on Butlin's breaks and day visits. The entertainment team promises an unforgettable experience, complete with mesmerising string-pulling action, hilarious characters, and plenty of 'oohs' and 'aahs' from the little ones.
This £1.8 million investment is the latest in a series of exciting developments across Butlin's three seaside resorts. The £15 million indoor activity centre PLAYXPERIENCE at Bognor Regis boasts nine immersive gaming experiences, including laser tag, a VR games arcade, escape rooms, and more.
Additionally, a second £2.5 million SKYPARK has opened in Minehead, offering an inclusive and interactive playground for children of all abilities. Last year also saw a significant £12 million investment in new Premium Lodges at the Maple Walk village in Skegness, featuring 128 contemporary-designed lodges at the heart of the Lincolnshire resort.
Holiday parks remain a beloved Great British institution, with millions of families returning year after year to join in the fun. If Butlin's isn't quite the right fit, Haven Holidays is celebrated for breath-taking coastal views and a wealth of caravan accommodations. It's an idyllic choice for those drawn to the call of nature and traditional seaside jaunts, yet it's Butlins that remains unchallenged in delivering top-notch family fun with its array of immersive and themed adventures.
Parkdean Resorts echoes a similar vibe, boasting 66 parks studded along the UK's sought-after coastal regions. Echoing Haven's ethos, Parkdean thrives with inviting swimming pools, convenient on-site dining, and an assortment of seaside activities aimed at families.
Center Parcs holds a special place in the hearts of many families, renowned for its array of activities nestled within the UK's enchanting forests. Although universally adored, the only sting is the cost that's notably steep over school breaks.
Butlin's Bognor Regis has garnered more than 3,900 five-star testimonials on TripAdvisor. Captivated by their experience, a guest recounted: "We had a lovely Easter break at Butlin's Bognor. Top quality entertainment, engaging and friendly staff and we had the weather too. Such good fun for young and old alike. Very impressed with the new soft play, the Splash water park was fabulous and from start to finish we received nothing but exceptional customer service."
Another weighed in, saying: "This was our third visit to Butlin's within two years, needless to say we absolutely love it...The brand new soft play and play experience are brilliant, soft play has very generous opening hours and the staff are really observant, looks like a much better replacement from the arena soft play."
One family remarked: "We had a fun-filled tots week, busy all day, every day. Playxperience was a new 1 for us and we all enjoyed neo games- 4yr old right up to 60s."
However, not every visitor came away with glowing reviews. A less satisfied guest mentioned: "Decided to give Butlin's a go for half term. Overall, for us adults, everything was a bit meh except for the entertainment, which was awesome."
Someone else left a five-star review which reads: "Always things to do never get bored. Very clean apartment. New playxperience building is very good, packed with new, fun experiences. Had great fun in laser tag. Brilliant and helpful staff."
All of Butlin's holiday deals can be viewed here, including Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness. Guests could also bag up to 40% off on meal packages depending on the date and location.

I'm a pilot - these 10 carry-on essentials make flying a first-class experience

The summer holiday season has officially landed, and so has the annual rush through crowded airports and cramped plane cabins as millions of jetsetters take off for a much-needed break. Seasoned flyers will know the excitement of the journey often comes with a host of all-too-familiar discomforts at 35,000 feet: dry skin, dehydration, jet lag, and head and body aches. Many of these issues are largely caused by a combination of dry cabin air, low pressure, recycled air, and shared surfaces - so, what exactly does one need to survive flying in a confined space at high altitude for an extended period of time? Duke Armitage, pilot and aviation enthusiast, revealed to Yahoo! Shopping the must-have items passengers should use to arrive at their destination looking fresh and feeling well-rested. Brimming with essentials, the expert's 'comfort kit' includes everything from pilot-approved skincare and tech to hydration boosters. Read on to discover Duke's top ten picks for an upgraded flight experience... Beats Studio Beats Noise is one of the biggest disruptors of in-flight comfort, and a good pair of earbuds can make all the difference. Armitage advised travellers to invest in compact, wireless earbuds such as Beats Studio Buds, which deliver impressive sound quality and active noise cancellation without the bulk of traditional headphones. With more than 57,000 five-star reviews on Amazon, they're praised for their secure fit, customisable ear tip sizes, and user-friendly transparency mode - which allows you to quickly tune in to announcements or chat with flight attendants. Available in red, black or white to match your travel vibe. £69.00 Shop Systane Preservative-Free Eye Drops The ultra-dry air in airplane cabins - which can often be drier than the Sahara - can leave your eyes red, itchy, and irritated, especially on longer flights. These Systane Eye Drops are preservative-free and designed to entrap water to promote greater hydration, lubrication and provide prolonged, long-lasting symptom relief. It also allows restoration of the damaged cells in the ocular surface. £14.99 Shop Humantra Lychee Electrolyte and Antioxidant Drink Mix Air travel is notorious for causing dehydration, which can lead to headaches, fatigue, and a general feeling of sluggishness. Humantra's plant-based, sugar-free electrolyte and antioxidant drink mix is formulated to ease these symptoms with the help of all six essential electrolytes and 100% natural ingredients in a 20-serving pack. It's a completely clean, artificial-free formula that hydrates four times more effectively than water alone. Naturally sweetened with Stevia leaf extract, which means no aftertaste, no sugar crash and no harm to your gut health. £28.00 Shop La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Soothing Hand Cream Cabin air is a recipe for dry, cracked skin — especially on hands exposed to repeated washing and sanitiser use. La Roche-Posay's Cicaplast Soothing Hand Cream is a cult favorite among those who need deep hydration without the grease or scent. Its 4% Niacinamide and 30% Glycerine formula draws moisture into the skin and creates a protective barrier to lock it in. TSA-sized at 50ml, and highly effective, it's the go-to cream for travelers who want to avoid post-flight flakiness. £9.00 Shop Mavogel Cotton Sleep Mask Whether you're on a red-eye flight, or just want to tune out the bright cabin lights, a good sleep mask is essential. This Mavogel mask is made of soft cotton and features a patented nose wire design that blocks out light without applying pressure to your eyes. Its wide band keeps it in place without pulling your hair, and it folds into a compact pouch that tucks easily into any carry-on. With over 63,000 glowing Amazon reviews, it's a budget-friendly sleep solution travelers swear by. £9.49 Shop Aloh Sweet Orange Bergamot + Aloe Sanitizing Hand Wipes - 3 Pack Even with HEPA filters in place, airplanes are still germ hotspots, especially on high-touch surfaces like tray tables, armrests, and seat belts. These alcohol-free hand wipes kill 99.9 per cent of bacteria while moisturising your skin with aloe and essential oils. The refreshing scent blend - including sweet orange, bergamot, eucalyptus, and peppermint - adds a calming aromatherapy boost, perfect for easing in-flight anxiety. Plus, the biodegradable plant-fibre wipes are a more sustainable alternative to traditional sanitisers. £27.99 Shop Vapur Collapsible Wide Mouth Anti-Bottle Staying hydrated in-flight is crucial, but lugging around a bulky water bottle isn't ideal when space is tight. The Vapur Anti-Bottle is a lightweight, foldable, and flexible water container that holds up to one litre, but flattens when empty. It's BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and has a wide mouth for easy refilling at airport water stations. A built-in clip makes it easy to attach to a bag or seat pocket - perfect for sipping throughout your flight without sacrificing precious carry-on space. £11.50 Shop Buffway Slim RFID-Blocking Leather Wallet Knowing your personal data is protected can give you serious peace of mind whilst travelling. This sleek, minimalist wallet features built-in RFID-blocking technology to protect your cards from digital skimming - a growing concern in crowded airports. It's thin enough to fit in your front pocket, passport holder, or travel pouch, and comes in dozens of colours and finishes, from classic black to bold metallics. Over 83,000 five-star ratings have praised its practicality. £36.66 Shop Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream If there's one thing your skin needs mid-flight, it's moisture - and Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream delivers it in spades. This lightweight yet deeply hydrating formula includes squalane (a plant-based emollient), glacial glycoprotein for skin barrier support, and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Available in a TSA-friendly 28ml travel tub, it's a must for keeping your face soft, hydrated, and photo-ready when you land. £18.00 Shop Cliganic USDA Organic Lip Balm 6-Pack Lips are especially vulnerable to cabin air, since they lack oil glands and lose moisture faster than other parts of your skin. Cliganic's organic lip balms are made with beeswax, vitamin E, and essential oils to protect and hydrate. This six-pack comes in a variety of natural flavours - including coconut, mint, citrus, and vanilla - so you can stash one in every bag or share with loved ones. With clean ingredients and no artificial additives, it's a gentle and effective solution for dry, chapped lips. £0.00 Shop

Real reason for Christine McGuinness's toxic fall out with Chelcee Grimes revealed after star grew close to Dan Osborne

IN the scorching heat of a sizzling Ibizan summer back in 2023, Christine McGuinness and Chelcee Grimes couldn't have been closer as they locked lips during a girly holiday with pals. But in a shocking turn of events, just weeks later, the former bosom buddies were barely speaking, each pressing the dreaded 'unfollow' on Instagram and disappearing from each other's lives at the click of a button. What's baffling is that the reason for the sudden end to the close pal's friendship has never been revealed - until now. 12 Those with intimate knowledge of the pair's short-lived but deep bond- which has found itself back in the spotlight this week after Christine revealed in a new podcast interview that she has always 'dated men and women' - tell The Sun that the pair stopped speaking after an explosive argument over the nature of their relationship. A source said: 'Christine and Chelcee had a blazing row after a discussion about where they stood with each other. The fallout took place in late 2023, a year after they first grew close while filming ITV's The Games, a time when Christine turned to Chelcee for support after splitting from husband Paddy a few months earlier. 'TOO INTENSE' 'Chelcee had been a rock for Christine after her split from Paddy and they were incredibly close. But while Chelcee was a bit more full on, Christine wanted them just to have fun and thought it was becoming too intense. ' Christine had a lot on her plate with her children and her career. They ended up having an argument and in the heat of the moment unfollowed each other on social media.' Of course, as The Sun revealed yesterday, around the same time that Christine was spending time with Chelcee, she was also seeking comfort in a growing friendship with former Towie star Dan Osborne. The pair enjoyed a series of nights out on the town in March 2023 and bonded over the end of her marriage to Paddy, while Dan was trying to make things work with his wife Jacqueline Jossa after a rocky patch. While we understand nothing romantic ever happened between them, it's understood they shared a 'flirty' texts where Christine would call him 'D'. It's unclear whether Chelcee was aware of Christine's friendship with Dan, but there is no suggestion it contributed to their fallout. Nevertheless, radio silence followed between Christine and Chelcee after the spat - a s tark contrast to their kisses in the Balearic Isles, or the scene seven months prior in December 2022, when they were snapped kissing on the lips at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Christine McGuinness is dating women and men and will fly to Ibiza for hot same sex date TIME APART The source adds: 'They both needed a bit of time out to get their heads straight. It's always sad when you're close with someone and then heated words are exchanged, and they were both upset.' After a cooling off period, pals say the pair made tentative steps towards repairing things, but ultimately their friendship never recovered. 'After taking some time apart they tried to work through it and get their friendship back on track. Christine meant the world to Chelcee,' a pal tells us. 'Unfortunately, things just felt different after their fallout. Christine was still going through the stress of a divorce, while living under the same roof as Paddy, so she was still in a different place to Chelcee, even after their time apart.' Since relations soured with Chelcee, Christine grew very close with another female friend, DJ Roxxxan. They enjoyed a sunsoaked holiday together in the summer of 2024, even sharing cheeky snaps of them 'playing footsie' on social media. 12 12 12 THE FEUD ESCALATES While the rumour mill went into overdrive, the nature of their relationship was unclear - although reports claimed they were sharing a room during their getaway. Chelcee, for one, didn't seem impressed by Christine's new gal pal. That same summer while the blonde was enjoying her care-free break with the striking musician, Chelcee liked a comment from a fan on Instagram, which read: 'Christine is fake as they come, Chelcee deserved so much better. "Christine can keep trying to get attention and fake a new romance." While this was the final nail in the coffin for any chance of Christine and Chelcee repairing things appeared too busy enjoying herself with her new friend to care. And while neither Christine nor Roxxxan addressed speculation that they were romantically involved, Christine confirmed in an interview on Loose Women after the holiday that she was dating. CHRISTINE'S CONFESSION With a beaming smile on her face, she told panellist Coleen Nolan: "I am dating with terms and conditions that I am not cooking, that's the number one rule, I'm not doing the cooking it's not for me." Things also appeared to have cooled between Christine and Roxxxan in recent months however. They haven't been seen in public together since late 2024, and although they haven't unfollowed each other on social media, they haven't posted any snaps on holidays or nights out. Fast forward to today, and sources close to Christine tell us she isn't romantically involved with anyone right now - at least not seriously. Christine feels like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders A pal tells The Sun 'She's actually free and single and she is happy that way at the moment,' a friend of the blonde mum-of-three tells us. And while Christine recently caused a headache for Channel 4 bosses when she pulled out of filming for Celebs Go Dating last month after deciding she wasn't ready to date on camera, we're told she's in the best place she has been for years after deciding to open up about her sexuality on Elizabeth Day's How To Fail podcast. 12 12 FINALLY FREE 'Christine feels like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders since she did that interview,' a pal reveals. 'The chat was always scheduled to promote her joining Celebs Go Dating, but when she pulled out of the show, she decided to go ahead with the podcast appearance anyway. 'Her sexuality has been whispered about for years and she was fed up of it. She wanted to talk about it on her terms in a space where she felt safe. Now she has, she feels liberated and more confident than ever.' In the hour-long chat, Christine told presenter and broadcaster Elizabeth that she has dated both men and women since her teens, and revealed husband Paddy always knew she also liked girls. Who is Chelcee Grimes? She said: 'It shouldn't matter somebody's gender. It never mattered to me, which was why once me and my ex-husband were separated and I met people, I didn't properly date. 'It was more like blurred the lines of friendships for me, that was normal. It felt comfortable because I'd done that as a teenager and I, as a teenager, I dated both men and women. My ex-husband knew. My family knew. It was never a secret for me.'' BYE BYE BOYS Although Christine refuses to put a label on her sexuality, instead preferring to call herself a 'free spirit', sources claim she has privately told pals that she can't ever see herself dating a man again. 'She didn't say this publicly on the podcast, but Christine has made no secret to her nearest and dearest that she believes she will only date women in the future. 'She's only ever had one serious relationship with a man, and that was the man she married, Paddy, but she prefers dating women because she feels more of an emotional connection with them. 'She still finds men physically attractive, but for her it goes deeper with a woman, almost on a spiritual level. 'Obviously, things can always change and you never know who will come into your life, but her friends have said they would be very surprised if Christine ever settled down with a bloke again.'
