Reviewing 10 bestselling Floral Street perfumes – From Arizona Bloom to Vanilla Orchid

Cosmopolitan04-06-2025
Let's be honest, the cost of perfumes has gotten out of hand. I'm more aware of this than ever before because, the other day, I went to spritz one of my fave perfumes (Le Labo Thé Noir, in case you're interested) for a friend while I was in Selfridges. I did a double take when I saw that it was now £234 Great British pounds for 100ml. I beg your pardon? It's why the Cosmo beauty team is dedicated to finding you fab alternatives if you aren't in the market for dropping that much on a fragrance. It's actually how we came across Floral Street.
With prices starting at just £29 for an eau de parfum (aka a fragrance with a pretty potent amount of perfume oil in it compared to an eau de toilette) it's such an affordable brand with a vast array of perfume types from floral (natch) to fruity and gourmand. Also, something that I think is so cool is that, to ease the buying process of perfumes online, which is tricky let's be honest, is that when you buy a full sized bottle on Floral Street's website, the package includes a small sample so you can test the scent with the sample and if you hate it, you can return the unused, unopened bottle for a full refund! I was so impressed with the range but I have picked out the top 10 below that you need to smell asap...
I tested the perfumes for a range of characteristics. I sprayed first thing in the morning and noted the lasting power through the day. I also looked out for how much the scent changed after the dry down and if it smelled different on my clothes vs on my skin. I also noted the projection (aka how powerful the scent is).
I would say that, on average, the scents last a good few hours before I found myself wanting to respritz. It's not the strongest for an EDP but definitely lasted longer than the average eau de toilette of cologne.

Suni Lee's Favorite Drugstore Makeup Products

You probably know Suni Lee from her iconic Olympic appearances (her 2024 uneven bars routine lives rent-free in my head), her Sports Illustrated shoot, or her viral TikToks giving us a peek into her newfound life in New York. But I know her as a beauty muse. Ever since she wore extra-long lashes and press-on nails during the Olympics, I've been a fan of her glam—which she told Cosmo is largely the result of affordable makeup. 'Just because something is super expensive, people think that it's automatically a good product and that they need it. But I'm like, 'No, you can buy this at Target. Go to CVS—like, it's right there,' says Suni. Keep scrolling for all her drugstore makeup recs that last through everything—from Olympic routines to nights out in NYC. Everything You Need To Know About Topshop's Catwalk Return

It's back! We're once again living in a time where Topshop thrives by creating major fashion moments in the beating heart of central London. On Saturday afternoon, hundreds gathered in Trafalgar Square to welcome the British stalwart back as it unveiled its new collection. ELLE was there front and centre of the action to take in the looks, understand the vibe and discover what's next for everyone's favourite accessible label. Here's everything you need to know — from the glitzy attendees to the styling tricks to note — about Topshop's second act. In a setting befitting Topshop's Great British status, the high-street brand chose London's Trafalgar Square for their long-awaited relaunch. In the shadow of The National Gallery, Nelson's column and the four plinths, fashion industry insiders and Topshop devotees enjoyed tunes from Norman Jay MBE and Melvo Baptise, of Good Times as the models walked out. Cara Delevingne (who is Topshop's face once again and curator for the brand), Adwoa Aboah and Alva Claire swapped the catwalk for the front row to take in the collection in the middle of Trafalgar Square. Together, the trio were fast to snap their favourite looks for future reference, while singing along to Beyoncé on the soundtrack. Each of the Brit models wore a Topshop look that befitted their personal style. Delevingne wore louche aubergine separates, Aboah wore a tailored jacket and midi skirt, while Claire styled it out in a polka dot skirt that featured in the show. Also in attendance? Sir Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London. Part-catwalk, part-zoo, the collection was chock-full of animalistic references. Featuring a zebra print mini, a cow print handbag and faux-fur coats and stoles aplenty, we know the streets of London will look go wild for the collection this AW. Proving themselves as the brand to go to for wardrobe staples, the Topshop runway was awash with denim. Leaving their classic Joni and Jamie jeans aside for the day, the high-street brand put denim to work showcasing a denim jumpsuit, which Farrah Fawcett herself would likely clamour to wear, and a denim mini dress-cum-jacket that was a real crowd pleaser, while the male models kept this cool in baggy 1990s-style fits. Fitting into a trend we're already expecting to take off for AW25, the Topshop collection also went in heavy on matching skirt sets. A particular standout was a natty turquoise skirt suit, worn with a tie and personality hat. Another great one that piqued the interest of ELLE's editors perched on the front row was a long-length brown mac worn with coordinating pencil skirt. It's a fail-safe way to achieve instant polish this winter. Daisy Murray is the Digital Fashion Editor at ELLE UK, spotlighting emerging designers, sustainable shopping, and celebrity style. Cosmo x Prime Video's ‘The Map That Leads to You' Screening Recap

On August 13 (aka the day TS12 dropped), Cosmopolitan joined forces with Amazon Prime Video for an event that rivaled Taylor Swift's New Heights appearance: a screening of Madelyn Cline and KJ Apa's new film, The Map That Leads to You. Celebs, influencers, and Cosmo premium-tier members gathered at Crosby Street Hotel in NYC for cocktails, treats, photo ops, and a full showing of the movie, which was followed by a Q&A sesh with KJ Apa, hosted by Cosmo Senior Special Projects Director Madeleine Frank Reeves. Oh, and Madeleine also got the chance to chat with another one of the film's stars, Madison Thompson, who joined the festivities. 'It's been so much fun,' she said of filming the movie. 'I feel like I have a new group of best friends. So it's always special to get to spend time with each other and get to celebrate something special like this.' And celebrate we did!! Aside from KJ and Madison, guests at the screening included artists, influencers, creators, and even public figures like Nev Schulman and Tayshia Adams—and of course, our Cosmo premium-tier members (who, btw, get access to merch, events, and other fun perks like this!). After the screening and Q&A, guests got the chance to mingle, imbibe, and listen to some tunes. And obviously, everyone went home with a goodie bag, which included a copy of Cosmo's Anniversary Issue featuring KJ and Madelyn. The Map That Leads to You will be available to stream globally on Amazon Prime Video starting August 20, so mark your calendars! Photographs by Rona Liana Ahdout
